This is the best vet clinic. Everyone working here is so nice. My dog had a dental procedure. They were very helpful about his meds and our questions. Even called the following day to check on him. I am impressed with them.His former vet was hard to get an appointment or even get them on the phone. Never felt he got good care there. So glad we brought him here. He won't be going anywhere else.

My visit recently - I was very scared for my dog, Raven. The vets managed to get me in at short notice and stayed late to ensure raven was going to be okay, they are always so caring with my animals.Visit from 2020: Nursed my kittens broken leg, exceptionally caring staff, always easy to get an appointment.

This is the best veterinarian clinic I have ever gone to. Their staff is amazing from the receptionist to the vet text to the veterinarian herself. They take time to explain what's going on with your animals And give you different options for treatment.

Our kitty Elijah had a Warble Fly embed a larvae in to him. It's a term for the larvae, or maggots, of a group of “warble flies” that infect small animals like rodents, rabbits, dogs, and of course, cats. With that being said, the staff was great and the Vet was very informative! Any questions that I had, she was more than willing to answer them for me without making me feel as if I was an inconvenience and I really appreciated that. What really set the bar is when the office called to check on out little buddy after his surgery to see how he was doing! No complaints and this facility is highly recommended by me. I will have all of my animals needs taken care of from this point on!💜 💜

The staff was very friendly that I met the day of the appointment. They told me Lady had Lyme disease and Hookworms. Gave her meds to start. Gave her a rabies vaccination. Also had me start her on flea, tick and heartworm pills. She ensured me she felt Lady was on the road to a full recovery to me and my little girl. We trusted that was all to be done.However 5 days later our pet died. She was a stray I had rescued and there is no way of knowing how much damage had been done to the kidneys. (That really should have been explained to be so that I would be prepared)She felt ok the day I took her, then day two lethargic. I called the vet immediately she said not to worry that's to be expected. Day three felt ok again, day four lethargic again I called the vet to ask what to do, nobody returned my call. (This was unacceptable)Day five very lethargic I picked her up and she died in my arms.I was devastated, mad and confused.The treating vet called me today and we discussed Lady and not knowing how long ago she may have contracted Lyme disease. It is fatal if it goes too long and affects the kidneys. I researched it more and even fluids would not have helped. It's called Lyme Nephritis/Kidney Failure. I do believe this is what killed her. If you search on YouTube there is a vet discussing it with a dalmatian and that is exactly what Lady's body looked like.Moral to this extremely sad story is don't tell someone you expect a full recovery if you aren't 100% sure. Also vaccinations are available for Lyme disease, make sure your dog gets it.

I took my baby girl Chloe ann for the first time last week. They were so friendly and nice and answered all my questions. They made her feel safe she wasnt a bit nervous. Highly highly recommend. We had to say goodbye to my sweet Maggie last week, which was overwhelmingly difficult. From the moment I got the news, the whole team was very supportive and sympathetic to the situation. It was very obvious that the staff is passionate about what they do. Today we received a card from the whole staff, which was such a thoughtful thing to do. Thank you, everyone; we appreciate you so very much!

Stay away from this vet place!! WMy husband took our puppy there for her first check up and she got her rabies and such. Almost $300 later my husband comes home with pills for her. Under the impression it is to get rid of her worms. Well I began to give them to her to find out her hair starts falling out. Mind you, my husband said the lady was one of the rudest ppl he has ever met. Then I started researching the pills and here they are not for worms but for a UTI infection. It can cause hair loss if allergic. My fault as to I should have googled before giving any to her. No one said anything about her having a UTI at all. I called them today and the same woman my husband said was cruel said he refused anything. Which is not true. The lady's name there is Cortney M and I will be calling the Better business bureau. What was a $300 bill if he refused anything?! 🧐 🤔 Interesting if you ask me. This woman talked to me like garbage. She said the medicine cannot cause hair loss. I told her I called and talked to a relative that works at a vet hospital up North. She went crazy talk like a lunatic. That is not okay. Definitely not a place I would take any living animal.

When one of my furbabies had to cross the rainbow bridge they were wonderful in the way it was handled. Had previously used another vet in the area that seriously let me down when I had a very sick animal. I would highly recommend them. Wonderful staff...

Professional yet compassionate staff. My dog was fatally ill and I had to make the tough decision to let her go. I never felt judged or pressured by staff and was reassured about my decisions every step of the way. I felt they understood my pain deeply and wanted to assist in anyway possible. First time going but but was very pleased with the service. They was pleasantly quick, I was in and out in no time. They done a great job with our newly born Yorkies by removing their dewclaws and docking their tails. Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a veterinarian. I absolutely love this vet office. My first encounter was to have a 15 year old adopted chihuahua have her teeth fixed. She was unable to eat when I adopted her very well and this office was so caring. The surgery was extremely reasonable in price. Then my second encounter was another one of my fur babies who's tumor tripled in size in a week. The Dr. sat on the floor with me while I cried giving me my options and loving on my fur baby at the same time. Each time, the prices were very reasonable; I did not feel that they were too expensive. I will continue to be their patients here, because I much rather have empathy when dealing with difficult situations with my fur babies. Thank you so much for being amazing with me and my babies. You have exceeded my expectations!

Yet again...If you're good at predicting when your pet will be sick, then this is the place for you! Appointment only so they're only good for preventative and checkups. I brought my sick cat in today and was turned away because I didn't have an appointment. Very disappointed.

The vet and staff at this hospital are very carrying and loving towards animals. We travel more than 40 minutes to visit the vet here because he loves pets and you can see the way he is true to his trade. Well worth a visit. Detail oriented as well as carrying to every animal he sees. If you need a vet that will be honest in good and bad times this is the place for you.

I'm hesitant to allow just anyone treat/board her but the people at Animal Hospital-Newton Cover understand this and handle her nicely. I was able to get an appointment within 48 hours. They warned me there might be a wait when I called the morning of the appointment asking if I could bring my cat in addition to the dog. I was almost immediately seen, the animals taken care of, and was on my way quickly. The vet explained what the pets needed and asked before adding any additional services/products.

Wonderful and accommodating staff! Very outstanding and friendly! Even if you are on a budget, they will explain different options and different packages that are available! I'm on a shoe string budget, and they have awesome packages to fit any budget type! The staff is also very child friendly! The answered my children's questions, even though some of them were silly, and explained everything to my girls! We WILL be returning!

I have a reactive/shy rescue dog who tends to freak out in new situations. Desensitization training is helpful but slow going and I was worried about his first vet visit setting us back. The staff was great with him, they took the time to let him get comfortable and let me coax him into situations that made him nervous instead of forcing him like a previous vet, all the techs even hand fed him. By the end of the visit, he was relaxed and now the vet is a happy place for him! Couldn't recommend more.
