Two stars are only because I've been here in the past and it was (ok + or -) but a few days ago they posted (cash only) on some poorly hung signs on the front power sliding doors. So I went off previous experiences and the cash-only sign. Yes. No longer cash only, and the front entry was clean. The only issue was the items I went in for were out of. better) It looks like someone power-washed the front, including the letters. Wow! Inside also looked different (good different). Someone even came up to me and asked- Is there anything I can help you with?- It's impressive, and I learned something new about what they recycle. Refer to photo 📸. I think they, no:I know they deserve five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ most improved! Still looking good. Today, they even had Blue-Bell's *Christmas 🎄 cookie* ice cream in stock. If you haven't tried Christmas cookie or Bridle cake flavors I would definitely 😁 recommend you do. Still holding strong. The store was well-stocked. It was raining ☔ last night yet I did see dirty shoe prints 👣 as I walked inside. Sorry, little things like that impress me because everybody notices the big things I figured out that a lot of small things add up much faster than some big things.

Clean store. Friendly staff. My only gripe is that they will sometimes have long lines at checkout, and staff members are just standing around talking with each other rather than jumping on open registers to help keep things moving.

Always clean. Easy parking. Parking lot is clean also. Very good prices on meat. AND they have people that will cut what you want. Can't go wrong using this store.

This place always makes me feel at home. I love the fact that the employees actually take the time to get to know you. That makes a huge difference in where you go. I feel like I am walking into a building full of my friends every time I go. The prices are also phenomenal. We can't resist a BOGO day.

Stocked up on Millamook day before Halloween 21. I'm impressed with the stock compared to WalmartBeen taking my business here along with friends and family.Amazing friendly cashiers.I'm Hella impressed with what's been done.

Checkout at night is slow, theres a bunch kids there at night and they don't want to work. They are loud and talking to each other from some distance. They need a good night manager.We don't find it any different then anywhere else that hires teens.

I shop Food Lion frequently. This store had what I needed. We were in and out quickly. Prices always comparable especially when you use your MVP card.

Great place to shop for your groceries. Super great Produce dept, everything is clean, fresh and appealing looking. The meat dept is really good, everything there is fresh looking also. The deli and bakery is clean, well stocked and very organized. The groceries area is just as impressive. The store overall is very clean and well organized. The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Especially Donna, George, Tony and Emily they always go the extra mile to make you feel like a valued customer.They have men and women restrooms that are clean and orderly. Handicap parking and access. They also have a reserved Veteran parking spot.

All the employees are very friendly and will help you find whatever you are looking for. The cashiers are wonderful and don't rush you with your order on checking out. I will go here any day for my grocery needs over walmart even tho some of their items might cost alittle more.

I love grocery shopping here! The cashiers and managers are all nice and helpful. Hey they even ask how your doing and if you've found everything you needed. I really enjoy shopping here. They have great prices and great staff! 👍

This grocery store is pretty good and they keep food and other things we generally need stocked up well. I'm sure during the day there's more help cashier wise, but at night they tend to be short handed cashier wise. Do more people shop during the day, probably, so I guess that's why it's a little bit more of a wait at checkout. I guess patience is a virtue if you have to shop at night.

It was great. Store was clean. Store associates were very friendly and helpful. We got some great buys. Eggs were on sale. Fruit looked good, especially the strawberries, blueberries and nectarines.We purchased those items as well as some Deli meats and cheese.

I wish they'd stop asking me if I need help.I have bad anxiety. I come in, it's a tiny store. I have a list or I'm hungry. I don't need the same lady to repeatedly ask me if I need help, while following me and stocking shelves behind me every 5 feet.No Sally Sue, I don't need help. I need you to leave me the heck alone so I can get my shopping done.Otherwise during busy holidays they can be super busy and not have enough registers open.But I'd rather shop here than Walmart to be honest.

Shopped at this store today for the first time. The deli is apparently not being maintained. I found tabouleh that expired a week ago and had mold growing on it. I pointed it out to an employee who removed the other containers which were also expired. Employees are friendly and helpful so perhaps just a staffing issue.

Nice job to the management and employees of this beautifully kept store! Produce was amazing, stock and full and nicely displayed, store was spotless and service at the deli and checkout were top notch!! Highly recommend!

Food Lion in Newport NC, had friendly customers service, also, if you don't see what you need, their staff are knowledgeable in when items are coming in.Before I forget, their store is always clean and organized.I hate when I missed the deli in having wings

One of the friendliest food lion staff yet, and their chicken is well worth the trip. It was fresher and less costly than competing companies. There is one lady who always tries to make people smile, every time we see her!
