This is one of the bestest and most organized Habitat restored I have been in. The staff were also friendly and helpful which I have not found to be the case at a number of restores I have been to. There is a lot of furniture on one side along with dishes and decor. Then there are rows of paint and building supplies. There is even a small area of books. There is plenty of parking in the front.

Have been several times. Bought an oval SS Sink several years ago (8?) and found a few small items on a couple of other visits over the years - only stop when en route to someplace in TN as a rule. This trip, I wanted to see their HVAC system as it is really basic and (I thought) most economical looking. Maybe I could afford something like it?So I took some pictures and, then looked around to see if there was 1. Anything I needed, or 2. Anything so nicely priced I'd get it anyway. What I found price-wise was either missing or disappointing. In the back room they had lots of nice-looking door slabs - but no measurements on most all in stock and prices on but a few. I spied some baseboard heating units (3) and they were just priceless - as were so many of the items that caught my eye.I wound up with a can of spray paint ($2) and a Small can of Goo Be Gone ripoff ($1.5) and two tiny 'bite-size' Snickers and the names of the (2 different) contractors that installed the unit(s).

This is the cleanest and most organized Habitat store I have been in. The prices were reasonable as everything has to have a starting price. I spoke to the manager who said that over 50 homes have been built in Avery County. Worthy cause. I like a place that respects the donations as many come from family members estates. If you are looking for hardware, nails and such, changing lighting, reclaimed wood, cabinets, or home goods you don't have to look through piles here to find it as everything is accessible.

always enjoy checking out what is at this store. the staff is super friendly, and they sometimes have great pieces of furniture, pictures, and light fixtures. like all thrift stores, it varies by the day and time. always a supply of hardware type items and many things from lowes. just a fun place to visit.

I greatly appreciate the concept and goal behind this store. There was a bit of everything in here and several items I didn't expect to find. The prices were a little on the high side for a lot of the merchandise, but other than that I can see myself checking back periodically to see whats new and hopefully find that diamond in the rough.

This is a place you stop before going to the hardware store the people extremely nice with positive attitude very welcoming just make a note the store is closed Sunday Monday and Wednesday

Prices are a bit high for used items but nice selection of odds and ends and the staff is always polite snd friendly. They carry books, china housewares, furniture, new mattresses, windows, cabinets, doors and all sorts of odds snd ends for home building and repairs.

Overpriced for donated items. Staff was very rude when I asked if the prices were negotiable. Will not be returning.I appreciate the work Habitat does and have volunteered on the work sites before, but even there the leadership is lacking and the waste is apparent.

Wow this animal shelter is awesome. The animals actually seem happy. They are well cared for. The layout of the facility is just incredible. I wish all animal shelters were like this one
