This store sucks and the employees are awful now since the other crew quit and walked out. Melissa Gurley and her crew were the best out there. I was told to leave today infront of the whole store and then the man Matthew Whitman came out side and I told him the store was awful and he was rude and started cussing me in the parking lot. I won't be going back there anymore along with alot of others who won't either.

While I'm a fan of Dollar General for the type of store that it is, period, this is a favorite location of mine. They seem to have more sales than other Dollar General's & on the items that I purchase most. Their employees are friendly and knowledgeable as well. The only "con" over other locations is that this one closes an hour earlier than most, but it's still a good choice. I recommend this location if you're in the area.

I love this store. The man who's always there first thing in the morning(when we end up going which is right after work since we work 3rd shift) is very nice and listens to my boyfriend and I vent about our work day.

Can usually count on them having what I need and very helpful if I can't find what I need (especially since the new "remodel"). I'm in there enough to almost know the whole staff by name. Guess that says alot!!

I go to the dollar general everyday the people are so nice n helpful n the manager lisa is the absolute best she goes above n beyond her jod title to help her customers....

Do NOT trust the Dollar General website's "find item in store" inventory system. It's not accurate, especially for the Newland store on Cranberry Street which seems poorly managed and maintained
