I live nearby to this dg, and as always, they are open till 10 pm, or they're supposed to be. I get there 15 minutes till ten because I needed something and guess who was closed already? Dg in pineola, this is pathetic and like the second time in the past week. You say you're not hiring, but the workers you have don't want to keep the store open till 10? It doesn't add up.

They are supposed to open at 8am, it's nearly 9am. I've sat and watched around 18 cars pull in and wait until they couldn't. Still no employees showing up, no sign on the door claiming differing hours. It doesn't help when they are actually open, the staff is generally rude and unhelpful.

Love the convenience of this location as well as the wide variety of items they sell & their hours. Most of their employees are friendly & helpful and I've even gotten to know a couple of them well enough to call them friends. The only con I've found is the fact that they bring in their outdoor sell items too early (an hour before they close or more & not because of weather) at times & it blocks many of their aisles. When this happens you can't even see much less get to many things. But overall, I enjoy my visits & have recommended this location many times to several people.

It's a good place for simple shopping.I wish they had more brands and they could keep a better eye on theft.( One of the things I went in for ... the manager said, people were stealing).Somebody aught to be able to see and catch the culprit.

I usually stop by in the mornings on my way to work. The workers are friendly. They offer items that other DG stores don't offer. I only wish they would restock more often sometimes it's weeks before they restock the shelves.

Both restrooms were out of order and that pissed me off, pun intended. The place is unusually understocked and many shelves have empty spaces, yet theres storage stocking devices and carts scattered everywhere making the place feel a cluttered thrift store. Customer service was friendly and pleasant.

Everyone was super nice. . Not enough employees. The workers are over worked and stock not put up but they were trying so hard to get things on shelfs

Brand new store but don't let that fool you. They NEVER have stocked shelves and when you ask the "management" they are rude. On more than one occasion the products I needed were setting right there in big baskets but you aren't allowed to buy it until they have time to put it out.If you do manage to find what you need....expect a wait because even though they have four cash registers...only one is ever open.

This dollar general doesn’t have 4 cash registers!! only 2 to be exact!! I agree they could use more help but that’s not their fault, corporate cuts hours per pay period so that causes staff cuts :( which hurts them being able to have the help to stock shelves. This is one of the busiest dollar generals in Avery County. So unfortunately the hateful manager should be reported by name. The store as a whole is very nice and well taken care of.

Don't buy the bacon it's not much cheaper than grocery stores and it taste funny. They may have sold me a pig that died before they could kill it. Dog enjoyed it tho but pretty pricey doggie treat

To be honest I really don't care for these stores, seeing one ever five Mile you travel makes me want to avoid them at all cost. I only stopped in the parking lot.

Stopped by on Saturday evening at 8:06 and they were closed. Sign says closses at 10:00.

Decent selection, but I went there to buy some warm winter gloves, being forecast next day showed 18-24" of snow, I was surprised when I walked the whole store and asked workers and they helped me, but told me that they didnt have any good ones. Only cloth cheap ones that get wet instantly. Your in the mtns, how can you not have those available? Left the place, drove 2 miles down the road and stopped to fuel up, went inside and found a perfect pair in the the convenience store for $9. Seriously? Lol that was my experience, but the store looked decent though. I would return if needed soemthing

Always enjoy stopping here. The staff is friendly and so helpful. They care about the customers and they work hard to offer great products for people in Land Harbor!!! Great DG!!!!

The store in Pineola, had what I was looking for but they do not have a big selection of items but that is with just about any dollar gernral. Most of the staff were friendly and nice but they do have a few rude staff that works for them.

Advertise closing at 10pm online and on the store hr sign. Employee locked the door as I was walking up to it. Staff has bad attitude and the family members are behind the counter acting up while trying to shop in the past. Will not return for anything.

The clerk entered in the wrong amount for my check I had written. I had to give her $3.00 in cash PLUS the check which was the correct amount. Made for a questionable situation.

Love the Dollar General. Big store in foscoe and in elk park. Other stores smaller but still always find what your looking for without having to go to bigger stores.😊
