Very very poor service, cares more about money than your pet and you. Made us travel from Marion to get script for our beloved dog having seizures but let us get ALL THE WAY THERE to not give us the script because we had balance due, not even past due mind you, and we could pay that in 2 days but yet these greedy such nice caring animal healers with fake words but really said to us in other words " money first screw your pet" &, oh yeah never even got a call about lab results. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. SHAME ON THEM

My cat had a blood clot and Dr Jewel would not give up on her. My vet in Charlotte said that she had never seen a cat with her prognosis recover. He worked miracles and I am grateful for his tenacity and love of animals.

Unfortunately Dr. Jewell is a good vet but apparently has taken on too many patients so his staff is too busy to provide satisfactory customer service. His staff does not communicate details of appointments clearly or what state law requires in administering pet medications. If you have an issue and they don't want to deal with it, they just cancel your appointment and tell you to find another vet. We're still trying to get our pet records, weeks after the fact. Very disappointing since we've been with him for many years.

I have no idea about this place. I have tried on many occasions to get my pets in & they can never fit us in. I have had 2 medical emergencies with my dogs & they pretty much say...to bad can't help. So, hopefully they are good with the patients they have. But, if your pet isn't already a client there...don't bother calling.

This guy, "Deisel," we adopted September 2016 when we lived at Moss Lake. Our temperature & humidity was in the upper 90°s. We found Deisel online and drove to Avery Humane Society, where it was 68° with little to no humidity. This prompted a 5 year searching for a home in these magnificent mountains. Our gratitude to this wonderful community we now call home and may love always find you and those critters ❤️

Went for the first time today to get a nail issue resolved on my 170lb Mastiff. And they did an awesome job! Handled him well, super quick with fixing the issue, and super sweet the whole time. 10/10 will go back.

They are wonderful with our dog. He had an unusual problem that others could not figure out but this vet knew exactly what was wrong. Also they are able to trim his nails were other vets and groomers had a hard time with his personality.

I took my dog, 3 year old Mixed Terrier, for the first time since moving here. My dog has severe “white coat” syndrome and does not do well with strangers. Dr. Jewel and his team where able to do the full exam, clip nails and give all vaccines without any trauma. This means so much to me because other veterinarians I have taken him to, have just said, “he is too wild and nothing can be done!” It was even suggested that we put him down because he will never be able to seen like other dogs!! 😢Dr. Jewel and his team have amazed me with their care, concern, professionalism and devotion to quality pet care. They will always be my provider for my little ‘crazy’ pup!!Thank you all!! 🙏

I had the unfortunate decision of letting my dog Rocky pass. He was my best friend, and had been with me through some horrible times. It hurt to let him go, but Dr. Jewell understood our bond and was extremely sympathetic. He truly loves animals, and that showed. He also knew how hard it was for me. He even sent a card which I got today. That gesture alone made a huge difference, and I'll never be able to explain how thankful I am for him. Truly a good man.
