Walmart Foods,is a clean,safe and a very organized place to shop.My wife usually orders the food online & I provide the pick-up.They substitute items that are not in their inventory, with similarly priced quality items.You always get noticed about this situation, through email.The services are great !Staff is very polite & productive, speeding up your waiting time,if you have other places to go.(tip) Close for Thanksgivings 2023 Make sure during your online shopping,that the store listed is the one you want to do the pick-up.It happened to us,I had to quickly continue,to the Walmart Supercenter in New Bern....

The new register layout is not very customer friendly..couldnt check out without being on top of the other 2 customers! I had a cart full of groceries no where to put my already scanned groceries while my cart is still full. Other registers werent on, or so full. Customers were waiting to use checkouts even longer now.. Its not very efficient.. why are the registers soooo close to each other!????

Went in to stock up on food, by the time I was done, my cart was filled to the limit. A very nice lady working there approached me and asked if I needed a second cart to place my bagged food in, and she ended up scanning my entire cart for me. I was blown away by her kindness and appreciated the help. Her name Joie, and she is my new best friend. Loves her. I will return in future, great staff. Thanks Joie!

They remodel the store so you have to spend a billion more hours at the store walking back and forth trying to find anything. They think it’ll make you buy more but instead we can’t find anything anymore so just don’t shop there anymore. Dont recommend you bother. Also their pharmacy is never in stock even for general meds.

Stopped at Walmart Neighborhood Market Gas station, Neuse Blvd, New Bern, NC 28562, on Wednesday evening, March 22, 2010. I passed several gas stations charging $3.29, $3.39 and then the Walmart station advertised $3.19 for regular gas. I pulled into Walmart station, but noticed the pump was marked $3.26.9/10th a gallon vice the advertised price of $3.19 9/10th per gallon.Fraudulent Advertising! No one could do anything. Couldn't change the price advertised, couldn't change the price at the pump. Couldn't turn off the incorrect price sign. Cars kept driving up, not realizing they were being lied to by a organization that didn't even own the pumps.

I don't care for their self check out, but other than that I like it at this Walmart because I can get my groceries a lot quicker then the Walmart supercenter

Thanks to Denise and a male employee who yesterday weren't just standing there with their arms crossed watching people check out but instead actively helping shoppers by opening the shopping bags at each checkout before each use. They were very friendly, helpful and professional, making the shopping experience pleasurable. They were a huge help as it can be profanely frustrating at times trying to open those darn bags. I saw the guy helping an elderly couple at the checkout next to me opening bags for them, and more.

I am astounded that nobody will check you out at a register. They made my mom do self checkout/self bagging and she has COPD and breathing problems. Covid is here to stay people. I have NEVER seen a grocery store that didn't have people checking out customers. Awful experience. We will NOT return until you get with the times.

I like the self checkout for me, it seems to go faster than the traditional lane. My mom likes the option of a lane because this “new fangled technology” is not easy for her to grasp. The employees were all kind and the store was clean. I will definitely do back.

They do a great job with the car delivery. I have been using it off and on since they started offering it. The employees are almost always friendly and helpful. If they are out of an item they offer you a substitute at the same price. The app knows when you pull up and you park in the marked spots and input the number of the spot in the app. They come out quickly, normally in less than a minute.

I love the people at this store. The checkout employees are ALWAYS super nice. Not sure how they stay that way with all of the rude A-HOLES shopping there. Always in a hurry to help!!

Good basic quality on basic products and they have the higher end products as well. When you do your shopping online to pick up, you can select those things that best fit your needs and your budget! You can take an hour or two to figure out everything you want. You can reassess before you check out and you can stay within budget without buying impulse items. They will make substitutions if something you ordered is not in stock and as an example instead of getting three decadent cookies I ended up 10 good cookies. You can accept or refuse substitutions when you pick up your order. The Walmart brand peanut butter ice cream is as good as any higher priced ice cream on the market for $1.97 for 3 quarts! I started shopping this way because of surgery where I couldn't get out and walk around the store anymore. This is the way I'll buy my groceries as long as it is a free service and high quality on everything continues!

I don't hate the place as much as I do their new policy about no cash at the self checkout registers. If they would open more than one or two registers that are for their cash paying customers then it wouldn't be so bad. Having to stand in a line for up to 30 minutes is just no way to treat your paying customers. How about spending some of your cash on more cashiers PLEASE!!! Another idea check out the way other stores work the check out lines. Ie: Bi-Lo. They have it figured out!

Great set up/layout of products. Easy to navigate and good service as well. Great for quick shopping trips without all of the "Mommy, can I have that toy?" and the "Man, I wish we could afford to buy these adorable pajamas for everyone!" kinds of situations. It's just a whip in, grab and go type of place, but laid back.

Nothing special about a self service super market, all self check, but you still pay the same price with them looking g over you like all folks are thieves. I just press on like I don't even notice them. Have noticed many prices ring higher than what's displayed.

The store is consistently out of stock of items that can easily be found in other stores, seems more of a problem of ordering within this store than part of the pandemic. It's horrible trying to shop when stockers bring pallets of merchandise out on the floor and place them at the end of the aisles, most especially in front of the dairy coolers during peak shopping times. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I like the expansion of self checkout as I rather bag my own groceries.

My personal shopper Sean was so efficient and polite. He gave me the eggs to keep safe in the front seat and let me know there we no substitutions needed for my order. All of the vegetables were beautiful and the two bunches of beets I received had the most gorgeous greens! Beet greens tonight for supper! Thank you for the outstanding service.

It was nice at first and now just ghetto and nasty. No parking, pallets are always in the way in the store, you have to wait your turn in order to go around pallets and that’s everyday. Lines are always long, too many self checkouts and every time I get in my car my shoes smell like weed, where people are smoking in parking lot. Better experience at Foodlion around the corner

Going into the big store can be a pain if you just want to get groceries so I started going to this one when they opened. I used to enjoy this neighborhood Walmart but they are often out of numerous products, ranging from hygiene items to various dry goods. Produce is very disappointing these days. This is the biggest downer for me. Many things are already spoiling or very picked over. Used to be better. Perhaps it will be again. We will see.

Have had a good run with grocery pick up until yesterday. Arrived at 3 for a 3-4 pickup. Due to some kind of manager exception, our order had not even been started. Sat in the lot for 50 mins waiting. 1. Just a little communication would've gone a long way. We could've done the shopping ourselves or gone home and came back, but the attendants didn't seem to want to tell us our order hadn't even been started. 2. Our order was placed on Thursday. They had 4 days to take care of this but I guess it was low priority until we were in the parking lot. Prob will move on to Harris teeter for our grocery shopping going forward.

There are no cash registers other than self check out, customer service and the person who helps do self check out....I understand it cuts back on unneeded cashiers but JESUS why take all the cashiers away 🙄 also for there to be no cashiers to work multiple check outs the shelves sure are empty. SO many spots on shelves where there is no merchandise. Will not be going back 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ also carts EVERYWHERE outside and so many in cart collectors
