You must stop here! One of the coolest toy stores! Perfect for kids of all ages including those of us who are no longer considered kids. Lots of creative kits, puzzles, books, and unique toys. The owners are so sweet and helpful.

Good toy store!! They had so many things here. The owner did a great job in relation to COVID 19! Keep it up, stay open and safe!!! They had everything “kids.” Dress up clothes, games, puzzles, etc. So many options. Stuffed animals galore. The owner was friendly and talkative. Cute store to find some games you like or to buy some baby products.

I'm a fellow toy store owner and was the manager of one of the largest independent toy stores in the country for around a decade. It takes a lot to impress me, but Snap Dragon did. The selection is well curated, and I had a hard time spotting a single dud on the shelves. The owner was informed and well practiced with the products she sells, which I believe is (or ought to be) the most important distinction between shopping at a toy *store* versus shopping in a toy *section* of a department store. My girlfriend, who is even more particular than I am when it comes to store layout and selection, was just as impressed and has not stopped talking about how cool this place is. It was a pleasure to shop here, and a pleasure to meet the enthusiastic owner, who clearly cares about her customers and the products she sells.

Purchased a couple of gift cards; they decorate the envelopes with curly ribbon to add that “special & fun” touch. Very cute toy store with a variety of toys/games for all ages.

This little toy store is wonderful. They have a very unique selection of toys, ranging from toys for wee babies right on up to toys that I would play with! There were capes and other thought-provoking items for dress-up, model cars and trucks, and everything in between. I found a wind-up duckie that swims for my friend's 22-month old. The clerk was very friendly and knew about every single item they had. Snap Dragon is a great place to put and keep on your list of shops.

Not the same old same old of toy to choose from. This store is in a location that you can't help but love. I saw items that I have not seen in a long time. Some items I of course had never seen. Some other items I expected to see were definitely in stock. I really like this place. The young lady working the counter was nothing but perfectly polite and friendly. I will go back and I recommend everyone try it out.

This little store is a great gem for New Bern and I am glad it is here. For the most part we find the prices to be reasonable for a small business and try to purchase here when we can over any online retailer. I always find something new to discover when shopping here, and rarely leave empty handed.The Customer service from the owner at times leaves a lot to be desired. You will not find an over friendly vibe at checkout, but they also let you play with toys and explore their store as long as you need, so don't let the customer service deter you from buying if excited customer service is part of your shopping fun, I think its just a personality thing.You can find a lot here if you look long enough. There are great education resources here too like flashcards, and "everything you need to know about" middle school books which we love. Tons of books.Covid mask issues seem to be on the way out finally thank goodness. We aren't participants personally, but the store does ask for customers to wear them, but I don't feel they are ugly about it or anything. Im sure it will be a non thing here soon though. I cant see why anyone couldn't find what they are looking for here. We have been shopping this little store for 14+ years

A super nice toy store in with some unique toys that you don’t find at the big stores. It was a welcome spot for our daughter to browse and have fun on our visit. The lady behind the counter was extremely kind and helpful for us in helping us find what our daughter was looking for.

Neat toy store. They have really cool toys for kids of all ages. Prices aren't bad for the special items they carry. Much more fun going there than going to Walmart. You won't find the things they sale there at the big box stores. I'll be going back.

This toy is phenomenal! I have a little girl that's only about to be 2 and she loved it when she went in here. Me and my fiance also had a lot of child hood memories come back, but also seen some new interesting thing. Take your kids, but first have money! Lol

I love this store, it is not your typical Toy Store. You can find things to read, build, learn, and so much more. The only downside is that most things are a little on the way expensive side. But, you get what you pay for and they have high quality toys.

Love to do kids' birthday shopping at Snapdragon... such a cute little toy store in downtown New Bern. Great for finding gifts that noone else has, and gift certificates always make a great option.

Snap Dragon toy store is a must see in downtown New Bern, NC. I have been bringing my grandson here since he was a toddler. He is now almost 6 years old and he still loves to come in and play with the train set they have set up in the back. They have great toys including all of the hottest fads for children of all ages. This is your one stop shop for toys, books, games, dress up clothes, dolls, science experiments, and the list goes on and on...

Rudest coldest woman in New Bern works here. Much better places to be. It's not about any more than being a decent human being. She 'snapped' like a dragon, yelling at me in my wheelchair and interrupted me, rather than wait 2 minutes and politely ask me to scoot my chair out of the way. You can say excuse me. You can talk to people with an ounce of empathy and compassion. OR you can SNAP like a DRAGON because you'd rather others suffer along with you. Seriously, never had a complaint or confrontation with ANYONE ELSE like this. Others who live and work along the property have been very kind and helpful to me. The city official informed me I could bconduct myself anywhere downtown. I felt verbally assaulted. That's NEVER ok. And I don't complain about much. See my reviews elsewhere. If you don't deserve it, if you're not rude and unkind, or neglecting your customers, you get a good review from me. No excuses or exception. Don't come at someone hot. Be a decent human, and that's exactly what you can expect in return, at least from me, because it's not about your wishes. It's about your attitude and lack of empathy.

On vacation, we stopped here after dinner. Have to say this was the coolest little toy shop I've ever been in! Saw the other reviewers who gave this place 1 star and I'd have to say looked like a them problem.
