We didn't find the fur blow out dryer I was looking for, but a very pleasant employee was quick to ask if they could help me find anything, and suggested a different item.I didn't purchase though, because I really want the dryer for my GSD furball:) since we were already there we went and looked at their pets for sale. I have to say, they were all kept very clean and the whole store looked very nice 🙂

I attempted to book a grooming appointment online for a particular time but had trouble so I contacted the store. The associate refused to book the available appointment that was convenient for me because she said that due to my dog’s breed, it would take longer to groom and that wouldn’t give the groomer enough time before closing. I explained his coat was shaved down before we adopted him and therefore it would not take as long as I was only requesting face and feet haircut. She still refused to schedule the appointment. Terrible customer service.

Seriously disappointed in our groom today... Paid $80 for a furminator bath and brush on my husky (whom I've had 3 years, and is regularly groomed)... Doesn't seem like he was actually brushed well, or at all. My car is coated in hair from the ride home, and if you look in the photos you can see how much hair I got off of him with just an undercoat rake in about 5 minutes.I know they'll shed after a groom, and I'm used to that, but I've never had to groom him myself at home after paying someone else to do it. Only good thing I can say is he does smell nice.

Visited my local petsmart in new bern nc to take my 13 year old shih tzu for thier grooming services. We ensured he was vaccinated and healthy in accordance with thier new policy posted below. We notified the groomer that he was just diagnosed with a slight heart murmur. The vet said we just need to keep an eye on him and put him on medication in the near future as a preventative measure.At which point we were denied services for what they stated was against thier policy. Any dog with heart issues is denied services. I asked the manager about thier policy and if thier was a waiver so they would not be responsible if something were to happen unexpectedly. He said yes however the groomer doesn't feel comfortable so we are still denying services. Thier policy says nothing of the sort only the listed conditions combined of 2 or more below And must be healthy.He is healthy with a condition he is being seen for. But they say they care about animals.... well ginney the groomer does not. I don't have the managers name as he was to rude to give it. They asked what his levels were and said we don't have a vet on staff and that was thuer excuss. I will not go to any petsmart again and will notify everyone I know about thier practices at this location.New policy petsmart? How about getting employes that do thier job.What do you look for during my pet’s check in?At check-in a safety-certified salon associate will perform a teeth-to-tail hands-on assessment of your pet. We will closely observe pets for any combination of the following:lethargyexcessive pantingexcessive droolingtrembling or shakingredness in eyesresistance to entering salon or going to kennel areaIf your pet is showing any two of these behaviors, we will not be able to perform the service at that time. Pet parents are welcome to stay in the store with their pet to see if the behaviors pass after 15 minutes. If not, we will gladly reschedule the appointment at a less busy time or recommend a veterinarian who can perform the service.Pets who have recently been vaccinated, have active infections or have underlying health issues are at higher risk of injury from stress. Older pets, those with special challenges, pets who have recently experienced stressful life changes or injuries are at higher risk of experiencing stress or aggravating a condition during grooming. Keep in mind, stress in pets can be cumulative, meaning a series of stressful situations can affect a pet’s health and well-being. Be sure to flag any special conditions with your groomer and note all pertinent information on the provided salon card.We did this and got told to go away so basically if your dog is facing special challenges they aren't willing to work with your animal.Can you imagine if some one told your grandmother no more salon visits cause she has a medical condition that is being taken care of by a doctor.

The employees were nice and helpful, and the facility was clean and well maintained. PetSmart as a company has earned this review. Due to their record profits and price gouging of their products, I will be making my dog food from scratch with natural and organic products because even so it will be less expensive than their store brand food that has doubled in price in the last year and change.

We have been bringing our dog there for 4 years and been happy. This morning I dropped both dogs (beagle and hound) off for the normal bath package they get. Horrible pick up. Anthony told my husband he couldn’t do my dogs nails because my dog was biting. My dog has never bit or been a biter. Anthony told my husband I told him they would bite… that was a lie. Plus my dogs were there for 5 hours and no one could trim my dogs nails!!!!! Honestly that’s one of the main reasons we have the grooming done. They are short haired dogs. So we paid for the whole thing and my dog came home after 5 hours with long nails. Ugh. We might have to try the new place down the street next time.

Well stocked store, clean, and a totally good atmosphere, clerks were helpful and knowledgeable. Found what I was looking for, where I thought it would be, and they had answers for a couple of questions. I would gladly pay their prices for the environment of Pets mart, this is a good individual store, but the consistent quality of the brand may be their highest achievement. Dont stop now guys, lead the way!!!Thank you, I for one appreciate high quality across the board, from products and services, to atmosphere and employee conduct.

Never in my life have i ever seen a more rude and unprofessional mgr as the one working at Turkey Creek, Tn store. She clearly did not/ could not appreciate my daughter being in her store and she made sure thats the message she wanted to send. My daughter is handicapped and went in to do an exchng for me. As soon as this mgr (short/ stocky/ blonde short hair) saw my daughter, she took an instant dislike. She followed her throughout the store constantly asking what she needed and was looming for as if she was doimg something wrong. My daughter was visably shaken by time she left. The mgr had the audacity to actually ask my daughter why she wasnt returning to her car outside and followed her to the store fronts in the plaza, asking what she was up to. My daughtr asked if she had done sk.ething to offend her st the PetSmart where she worked and was told in response "Dont be coy with me! I know what youre up to". My daughter walked 4 store fronts down b4 this mgr stopped following her and saying nasty and judgmental things to my 34yr old handicapped child. How unprofessional! What a bad example and role model! How pretentcious of you! ** SHAME ON YOU FOR PICKING ON THE UNDERDOG** Does it make you feel better picking on ppl that dont know how to fight back? You clearly need anthr job bcus public relatioms isnt for you lady!

Not a bad store, it just cost more than I'd like to spend. I only go for quality items, as in a collar and leash for our new puppy. We also decided to pick up a few toys and a snack for him, while we were there. We didn't expect the amount it rang out to be, but we are very happy with our buys.
