Overall, I’m a fan of this store- there’s friendly staff and a good selection of health oriented products. However, there have been occasional issues with price (sale items aren’t always marked clearly, items ring up differently then marked). Wish they had a scale in the bulk section so you can estimate your own cost before getting to the register.

This is a great local vendor of health and lifestyle products you typically can only find online. They have a wide variety of locally sourced products as well. It's a "must see" in New Bern and a nice addition to your typical grocery shopping excursion!

Really unfortunate that this business has to resort to robbing the community, in which they serve by having higher prices at the register than what’s marked on the floor, then act hesitant to give receipts, to keep their scheme undetected.

Visiting NewBern I spent two days and four retail establishments chasing down the herbs I wanted. Just happened upon Living Well and got what I needed with generous, courteous, helpful assistance from the proprietor and the sweetheart at the register. Great experience.

Great little organic market right in downtown New Bern! Groceries and health/wellness items, quite nice selection considering its size. I bought basics: eggs, butter, cheese and some Carolina grits. So nice to have these within walking distance of the house where we were staying. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We visit New Vern regularly and will be returning here for sure.

This store is wonderful! The staff are experts on the items found in the store. I went in to find some relief for migraines. I was given 3 items and told how they worked together to give me relief. This combo was my saving Grace for Fall 2020 and Winter 2021. Each time I am in New Bern I always stop in, even if it is to say hello to the wonderful staff! If you are looking for organic foods and vitamins, this is the go-to place in the area!

Nice local organic food store. The ladies working there were lovely, very helpful finding me the items I needed! I don't live in New Bern however as I visit I would definitely stop in. Found several things that are hard to get... Organic baby lima beans, organic mung dal beans and fresh ground organic peanut butter with only dry roasted peanuts in it That's it.

Overpriced and expired goods. The owner treats sales persons very horribly. Masks are discouraged. As far as I’m concerned this store is a health hazard, which is sad considering it’s downtown New Berns’ only health food supermarket. Shameful.Staff however is very sweet. I feel sorry for them. They deserve better.

Living Well is a wonderful store. The staff is friendly, helpful and always greets you with a smile. They stock vegan products that are hard to find anywhere else. The herb section is the best around, the only place I can find marshmallow root. The vitamin, minerals and supplement section always has what I need. Every time I am downtown New Bern, I go inside just to see what's new.

Nice store, friendly staff (although they don’t wear masks), good variety of organic/specialty items, as well as everyday staples. Very reasonably priced, lower Prices than whole foods on many things. I would definitely recommend checking them out, if you don’t mind shopping somewhere that no one is required to wear a mask during a viral pandemic.

I absolutely love this store and have been so grateful to have it in New Bern. The staff are very friendly, they know their regular customers by name, and they are willing to add new products to their inventory by request. The selection of natural and organic products is excellent for a small shop. However, I am disappointed that the employees do not wear masks during the Covid 19 pandemic. It is required by executive order 181 for all people who are not members of the same household to wear masks when indoors. Even if the employees have strong immune systems and feel that they are healthy, it comes across as a sign of disrespect toward their customers to not make the gesture of protecting others by wearing a mask. Unfortunately, I am afraid I won’t be able to shop here anymore until there is herd immunity and the mask mandate is lifted. I am really going to miss shopping there every week.

They seem really laid back. They're Knowledgeable. Able to give you good recommendations and they don't try to push unneeded stuff on you. Great people, great place. The prices if your on a budget are kinda ehh But here you get what you pay for. Quality merchandise from good people with a great variety of natural remedies. Ohh and a rewards program!

The store looked very nice and so were the employees but no one was wearing a mask in this very small store. Very disappointing for a store that is supposed to promote well-being and health. As soon as I became aware that masks weren’t being worn I left. If the owners of this store don’t care enough about other people’s health by wearing a mask, then I will not be able to give this store my business now or in the future.

Cute little shop, but in the end it left a bad impression. I didn’t see that you had to buy two for a sales price and wanted my money back for the full price item. They only want to give a store credit which is not useful for a visitor. Beware, they don’t tell you that policy up front.

My first time going to this shop was yesterday! They are so helpful kind and have comforting energy. It was like heaven but of organic foods, spices, and health products. HIGHLY highly recommend especially if you're exploring a healthier direction in life.

They had a wonderful selection of homeopathic remedies and supplements for great prices and we're honest about what items they thought would benefit me, and which ones would not.
