Great place for craft supplies. This is a big store. They will meet the online prices. Plenty of parking. Maps will try to take you in an indirect route. Watch for store on right.

Use to like this place even spending a couple thousand dollars on decorations for my house, but now every time I go in alone I am profiled and followed like I am stealing! Even overheard one employee tell another one to watch me. Last time this happened I approached the employee who was following me and called him out on it. It's called shopping you idiots...people have the right to look around and look at the products! Not everyone is a thief!

Good for inexpensive home decor and craft items. Not really good anymore for professional grade painting supplies. Some things will do in a pinch, but here in NB if you need high end paints, you will need to order them from another store online. Kind of a bummer, because when Michaels(that had better quality paint and canvases) went out of business HL was the only game in town. Soon after that they stopped carrying high-end supplies.

Always worth a stop while in New Bern. I believe I may like stopping in as much as my wife does. I like to draw and paint with the grandkids and decorate our new house, too. The 30-70% off messes with you while trying to navigate through their store, but we never leave empty handed. Make sure to stop in and buy something you never really needed, but now you have to have!

For all your hobbies, they have what you need. Love the nautical decor, and especially like the 50% off certain items! This pelican came from Hobby Lobby. I just had my husband cut the feet off so I could mount it.

Huge variety of just about anything craft, party, decor, or gift related that you could ask for. Pricey unless it's on sale. Can't usually find staff to assist you if you need it. Usually only 1 or 2 cashiers open.

This lady needs to be FIRED.I purchased over $60.00 had my receipt in my hand stood right there next to the register looking at the valentines day stuff because it caught my eye walking out. I over hear her say " keep an eye on her she looks like she's gonna steal." Wait what? I'm standing RIGHT here next to the registers LOOKING with my reciept in my hand! I had a few things in my hand I was going to purchase until she approached me and tried to embarrass me in front of other customers. Absolutely disgusting and very poorly handled. One star rating - train your employees better on handling situations with customers point blank.

I love Hobby Lobby. However this visit shook me and my husband. We were going in line and a white woman was at her register. My husband asked her if she was opened and she rudely snapped no! A few minutes later, she took the next person in line which is the proper protocol. However, the way she spoke and dismissed my husband and then smirked when she called the next person was horrible. The worker didn't obviously care for black men. I am white. The manager was called and this worker was no longer smirking. I was shocked and my husband hurt. To think this still goes on in 2023 is outrageous. Extra training of staff might be necessary. The manager assured us this would be handled appropriately.

Apart from the politics, I do not find this place friendly. With the exception of one person who helped me, the people there seem rather sad. It's not a place I look forward to shopping in, and I go there only as a last resort.

I go to this location every few weeks to get home decor items and different supplies for craft projects. Today I went to get a frame for a picture I’ve had sitting around my house for years. Christian was working in the framing department and she was such an AMAZING help. She went beyond my expectations and I left with my beautiful picture ready to hang up! Friendly, great attention to detail and so helpful. 10/10 will be recommending my friends to go see her for any framing needs. Thank you!

Very bad racial experience with one of the cashier ladys and reported her to the super visor who was also a lady she said that she would adress the situation but I was not convinced so l left the store very hurt and confused why do peapole still treat peapole like she did because of the color of there skin my heart is 💔
