Smaller version of Food Lion store, so it doesn’t have the selection of some of the larger stores. It is clean and has professional, kind employees to help when needed. Quick in and out most of the time when using the self-checkout.

Sale prices are great with a food lion loyalty (?) Card. Store clean. The bathroom is clean and well stocked. Parking was easy and the lot was clean. The store clean was well stocked.

I wish they would stop moving items around. Other than that friendly workers prices are good. When I shop I am the guy that doesn't always get a buggy. Just need to grab a few things. In and out quick. Well when my arms are full it's time to go. Well I don't like walking around looking for my last item. When I know it was in one of the isles closest to the freezer section . But now it's all the way back on the other side. Not going to make any more money off me my arms are full. And it's time to go

The place is a dump. Dirty, outdated and gross. Plus, they often either charge twice for items as reflected on card statements or charge some outrageous price for a product, hoping customers don't catch it. I caught them doing these things several times. The response was always: "Oh just a mistake." They make a lot of "mistakes." Be careful and be warned. Immediately read your receipt and check your card statements, or better yet, avoid this store.

I have been going to the Food Lion in James City for years and loved it till today when my cashier was the rudest cashier I've ever encountered at any store anywhere. I will not only not choose her line but I think I'll give her all the space she needs and go elsewhere for my groceries! Rude little girl with the fake long Crayola red hair.

Love their produce section, although it can be a little pricey but with my MVP card I always get a good buy and the produce is always fresh. Employees are friendly and courteous and knowledgeable of where items are in the store. There seems to be little to no wait time in line on the occasions that I have visited the store.

I usually purchase International Delight Irish Cream coffee creamer and they have been out of this flavor for over three weeks. I understand there are some supply chain issues, but as a rule that flavor seems to be short a lot. I love my Food Lion stores, and I hope this issue will soon be resolved.

The store is always clean and well-organized. Prices are pretty cheap; the MVP deals are always great. The selection of higher-level offerings has improved. Great alcohol selection. The only negative thing I would say is to check your receipt to make sure the price you paid matches the sales ad. I have had a few instances of being overcharged.

I was later than my time slot, they sent me a text and said they would hold it until 8:00pm keeping everything at the appropriate temperature. When I arrived, I let them know, they texted my wait time, I only waited about 3 minutes. They young lady that brought it out was very friendly, loaded my groceries very nicely.

I'm not a big Food Lion shopper personally. For Instacart though, this is the best food Lion I've found. Staff helped in aisles, manager stepped up on a register to keep people moving fast. I was very impressed with this location.

Y'all, I love my Food Lion in James City! These people are so kind, friendly and helpful. If they don't have something they will do their best to get it. Prices are reasonable. I saved over $100 today using my MVP card.

Never crowded! One of my favorite places to shop. Good selection, good prices, friendly and helpful staff, too. Even has REAL cashiers, unlike the much hyped Wal-Mart of grocery stores, Harris Teeter.
