I saved 27.00 got meats, dairy, veggies, fruit, misc other items, spent 141.00 had 10 bags ..more food for the money in a long time. Employees helping elderly with self checkout and not eye rolling!!

Great Store! Customer service anyone? Best customer service. Clean store. Great food. Like their meat. Real peppermint candy canes. ( May only be available in season? )I have never had a real peppermint candy cane. The cheap ones make me sick to my stomach. The real peppermint in these I could eat with no upset stomach. Shop here!!!

I enjoy my Food Lion shopping but have departed from the store on Neuburnie to McCarthy Square so I can have a cashier ring up my groceries and feel like a customer.

I used the shop and go pickup option for the first time today and Mona was my shopper. She updated me as things changed and needed to be substituted as she shopped, and was very helpful and thankful with me. As well as Catherine/Caroline (unsure of why her name was) brought out my order and was very helpful and pleasant to speak with. Both were happy and willing to be helpful and I appreciate it!These 2 awesome employees made my first use absolutely flawless and a very pleasant experience! 10/10 will be doing again!

Worst food Lion in the area . The wing baris never kept up. Also out of things I want that btw, are on sale. Some of the staff are very helpful but hard to find. Go to Janesville food Lion, they are excellent in every way!

Good general selection and prices, but produce section is lacking. The aisles are often blocked by those restocking shelves, a task that could be completed at other times. They appear to have a lack of cashiers and the front cart area is not really clean...a bit run down looking overall. Could use a facelift and better staff training.

If the cashier in the Express lane had turned her light on, I could've gotten out much quicker, as I only had one item. As I was waiting in line in a regular lane, I saw she wasn't closed, but by then she had a line building. However the cashier I had was very friendly.

Greeter @entrance was EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING! Ladies who emptied my cart & checked me out were just as good! I was not feeling well so they led me over to bench to be seated. I gave checker my credit card. They did everything else for me. Greeter even walked me to car & emptied my cart, putting groceries in my car for me! THIS kind of customer assistance will keep me coming back to Food Lion instead of Publix or Harris Teeter or, yes, even WalMart, even if pricing happens to be a few pennies higher (which it NEVER is). Please keep up the customer focused treatment by your employees. Your customers notice...even the ones who don't say so!! 😀😉🤗

I love the cashiers at this store and the stockers are very friendly and helpful. There is never an isle where i am not asked "are you finding everything okay?" And that is customer service! Great staff.

Always friendly service. Every employee knows the layout of the store. Today I was looking for raisins. Asked an employee. Aisles 3, right side, quarter of the way down, near the bottom. Very pleasant place to shop.

Was standing by the door waiting for store to open. Store hours 7am-11am. It is 7:02am. Employee walks by me to enter store we exchange good morning. He disappears momentarily then walks to other entrance opens door for 2 customers approaching from parking lot. Disappears in the store ignoring me. He knew I was waiting at the door. I start to walk off a clerk sees me and walks over to open door. He is no where in sight. I leave

People are decent. Produce is definitely fresher than most other produce in the area. Very clean. A bit more Expensive, but with the MVP card, this is the place go shop over Walmart

Order to go all the time! They are so nice, and get the order done ahead of schedule most of the time. They load up the car and off you go. No need for contact! They are doing their part!

I love Food Lion but this review is specifically for the cashier Kelsey. Awful service & had an attitude the whole time. I’m surprised they even hired her, she acts like a brat.
