It's been ages since I've been here. Needed a cord and plug for my special flashlight. A major brick and mortar store wanted to charge close to $100! Of course it had more plugs, bells and whistles I didn't need. Staff friendly and professional. Won't hesitate to shop here. Plan on going back soon!

I like the prices and they have a good selection of products. This is a great gift idea location. Everything is no longer $5 or below, but you can thank the economy for that.

Really cool and eclectic mix of stuff at awesome prices. First experience with the chain and we had fun just exploring what as available. Art supplies in particular were very impressive.

So many different small toys for kids. Staff out on the floor was nice, however, the cashier seemed annoyed that i interrupted her time on her phone.

I really wish this store was bigger. It has so many cool things and different categories such as clear these makeup shoes electronics kids toys even some work out equipment and more... I only gave it 4 stars because of the size and the 5 below is legit to a certain extent some items are actually a couple dollars more than 5 but still a reasonable price ... So if you're looking for quick grab and goes for emergency or travel etc. 5 below is a good choice. The staff are very helpful and kind as well

The associates on duty (Brandon and Shanna) were incredibly kind and helpful. It was a joy to shop at the New Bern location today (10/13/2022), and I will most definitely be back. I can buy goods anywhere, but this place has exceptional customer service! Kudos to these young people!

Last visit month ago. . We were being disrespected and racially profiled by certain employees when my family and I visit the New Bern location. . My husband, me and son sometime visit this location in mornings and feel uncomfortable with way we been treated. . Two of your employees who work have treated us badly. A man and little girl both have brown hair. . We see them help and talk nicely with white customers, but my family and me.. who Asian. .have been given terrible and rude answer when we ask for help.. Very short replies with no smiles. . Every isle we walk down, we are being followed and watched. .When we talk Vietnamese they give us mean look. . and they laugh. . It embarrassing that my young son have to see this type of attitude. . We come here because it his favorite store and the only place in area that sell my husband favorite candy. . The man also call my husband as ,,man”. . Disrespectful because that my husband is military and older in age. . I’m upset and ashame because I love five and below but this place will not be visited. . We will now be making drive to Jacksonville store instead. . Asian lives matter. .I will make sure tell everyone my friends. ! And share on facebook. .

Fantastic! My dil got me a gift. The shirt was too small. I took it in to exchange and it went smooth as anything. No hassels. Some other stores in New Bern could take a hint from how these people do business!

They are usually really nice but today was my birthday so I wanted to go but as we were pulling up a lady was locking up! But they don’t close till 8. There was nothing anywhere stating that they would be closing early today.

There was a very nice young guy working on Sunday night. He was fun and joked with me and made me feel very welcome. I've been having the worst day I've had in a while and that kindness helped so much I actually cried in my car on the way home. You can make a difference no matter where you are or what you're doing. The staff in this store is outstanding. Every time I come in I'm welcomed with a cheery welcome to 5 Below. The store is clean and we'll kept. For the high schooler this is a must go to for all your schooling needs. For the Working Class this a gold mine you can almost get whatever you need for work, play, or just chillin after a busy day.

Has mostly what you need if Doller Tree doesn'have it lol. The prices are exactly what it says n every now n then the prices are a little bit higher but that is very very few times. I love this store n would definitely recommend it.

I wouldn’t even rate this store 1 star. It was a terrible experience for me & my husband!! Every time I go to a 5 and Below store, husband & I always stay for at least 2 hours shopping. The employees here followed us around the store the whole time, made terrible & rude faces to us. We had absolutely no privacy when we were trying to shop or even speak to another without the employee standing behind us watching our every move. They even proceeded to call the front cashiers to tell them we were heading to check out. All employees stood beside the door as we were checking out & even watched us walk to our vehicle!!! We spent almost $100 in the store, and we were treated as if we had stole and treated like criminals!! We will NEVER come back to this location!!!! 5 and Below seriously needs to reevaluate their employees & teach them manners!!!

This store still has the regular check outs with staff! Jacksonville location is self check out only. They even gave me a few reusable bag b\c I bought 1 & they needed another. They manager or someone bought a bunch for them to do that. Thank you!

This store has a wide variety of items to buy. I have heard many customers speak about this store, so I decided to visit and I looked around for a little bit I could not finish browsing because I had to run an errand. I will be back very soon to shop at Five Below.

I went into Five Below last Saturday and wasn’t impressed with the staff. The two girls were goofing around and not doing their jobs and also was running around and being loud. They also were just turning on and off the cashiers light non stop. When I finally checked out the one girl just started throwing everything in the bag like she had no care in the world.

**UPDATE** I am altering my review. They still have a great, selection of items that are different as and priced right. This Christmas I went in to buy a few extra items. I found lots of items for $10, $7.77, $7.50, $7 $6.50, $6 and $5.55. The name of store is $5 below. I did hear that they are changing the name of the store to $10 below.Great store for of everyday items..most items priced Right but some are priced too high. great selection, clean, fun to shop there

Very cool inexpensive store! Very good store to take your kids to get toys, candy, coloring ng books, t shirts, and other little things for them to enjoy! My kids love it because they get to walk out with something.

I just love this store. Not only does this particular store have a nice collection of merchandise, it's very clean and all employees are consumer oriented. I only shop at this location...the one in New Bern off Hwy 17 Business.

Went there for bandages (trying to not go to the busiest store in New Bern, next door) they didn't have Neosporin not that I should have expected it. They do however have all sorts of fun things. Great place for cheap presents or stocking stuffers. The staff was friendly. The shoppers were courteous.
