Super nice lady running cash register if you’re looking for bulk items without having to pay for a membership or driving an hour or two just to get to the store here’s your place they also sell non bulk items as well the place to go for funnel cake mix snow one syrup party supplies they have a bit of everything so go support a local business that has been around forever the lady working there noticed the rice crispys I was buying to make treats was out of date and gave them to me (did you know in NC stores are allowed to sell expired items as long as they discount them I didn’t)

Unique store for food supplies if you run a food business, etc. Pretty messy but not a bad place to check out for your business supplies.

There were several empty shelves. Prices were hit and miss. Some prices were outrageous. (10pack of Peep flavored Pepsi 7,5 ounce cans was over $11 ?) I did purchase a bottle of Irish Cream for about $10. Plenty of parking. Staff member very friendly and attentive. Very professional. Shelves were being stocked as I was shopping. I would return

Good place they have changed they just not as personable as they used to be the new owners really don't have customer service the way they used to. On the good side they have several things that they didn't have before and retained the stuff that restaurant and food truck hot dog cart owners need. I still go there but not as much as I used to

If you want to feel what it's like to feel like you're about to witness a clerk get thier head blown off with a shotgun in a robbery stop in! It's a decent little store with some great deals! I like it but it is sketchy.

Armstrong's has been my choice for groceries and household/business cleaning supplies for years! Not only are their prices competitive, they have a caring staff who is always willing to help their customers. They've been pleasing customers for many years now and that is a result of how they treat their patrons. Great folks!I would recommend this fine grocery store to anyone in the New Bern area!

Great prices on some things. Others might be a little high, but do some comparison shopping!! Somethings are a better bargain than Walmart!! Going to start getting some of my cleaning supplies from here!! Bigger and a bit cheaper!!

We were able to quickly find what we needed. 5 stars for what we went in to getWe looked at some cakes,in the front but decided against them when we discovered small areas of mold on them. 0 stars for the cakes

They don't wear masks or attempt to distance. That was disappointing because we have always liked shopping there for low prices. Looks like a long time until we can ever return.

They've got bulk items that aren't found in many high volume storesThey have new ownership and longer hours. There is also more foodstuffs that are not just bulk or restaurant sized. More drinks and such

I didn’t realize there were new hours until I passed by 7:15pm and the doors were still opened and the inside lights were on!! I went in not knowing there were new owners but by the time I checked out it was clear. The owners didn’t speak even after being spoken to.

Armstrong groc. is a good place to buy frozen seafood,cigarettes,and lottery tickets; anything (food most) in bulk. An in and out kinda place all business no bs. I like!

Old fashioned get it yourself supplies for parties and other bulk items. It's just awesome! Almost like a mini Sam's.
