Great prices, clean store and always stocked

There is no point in having the app for coupons cause every time you go into the one on Hwy 226 they never have anything stocked. The shelves are empty and there is a ton of freight everywhere. You can ask if they have something and their response is they don't know even though it shows they have it on line. You don't even get a chance to use the coupons you have on the app before they run out of date. This place needs new management and for a lot of people to just come in and clean this place up. Will definitely drive to another dollar general before I go back in there.

I want to let everyone who shops at this Dollar General how they treat one of their customers. My daughter in law has been meeting her ride for work at this store for a while now no problem until today . Mind you she shops here every time she meets her ride . Today on leaving the store with multiple items she purchased she was approached by a lady calling her self the manager . This lady if you can call her that was screaming at my daughter in law at the top of her lungs . She was screaming did you get my note which she hadn’t gotten to her car to get a note left on her wiper. The whole thing was rude and embarrassed this young lady . There was no reason for the rudeness the so called manager used she was upset that my daughter in law parked her car at the furthest parking place while she was gone to work. . If this was a problem there where much better ways of handling the matter. I have family that live in the area and shop there but the rudeness the lady showed today was in called for . I hope everyone that reads this will let someone at the store no how they feel about this .

Great staff (who work well together) and no matter how busy or stressed they are I've always been treated with respect. They have a good selection of items if you don't want to go into town as well. Clean and their restrooms are never "out of order"

The people working are always nice and helpful..store is a little cluttered and sometimes hard to find what your lookin for, but the people thats now working here are always out on the floor helping to get it cleaned up and if you have a hard time finding something they sre always helpful and help you find it..store is A LOT cleaner now than used to be..

Since I only live a few miles from the store I visit often. The ladies (and gentleman) have always treated me with respect, And are always super, super kind. I’ll enjoy visiting the store over any other dollar general. Unless they are out of what I need I don’t visit another store. Keep up the good work guys, it’s being noticed!

This is an amazing dollar general! So many cute,pretty little things to put in your home. First one ever I've been in that had this much selection and its impossible not to find something you gotta have. Definitely going back. Its only 3 miles from where I lived from 86 till 2006 and after I moved to Morganton they built it right across the road from a little store that I was usually at on a daily basis for something. Just my luck! 😉

What is wrong with this store went in there many Times before for something end up going to another dollar general. Today was the last day. They need to be reported. Needed some OJ expired had mold in all three jugs dated for Dec. 7th SICK! Once again I am complaining about this store. I am going to call corporate this time no one is ever going to fix this store! Has to be the management there! The pay isn't enough so they don't want to do there job? What is it! I still will not go into this store because of the last time I went in there but of course my husband gives them the benefit of dought why does he have to open boxes to get merchandise out? Not just once all the time! No one in there stocks the shelf! Just do your job!

As one of the 9 stores that's in McDowell County, they have a good and mostly friendly staff. Easy quick in and out to grab whatever you may need from milk to duct tape, 30 pounds of dog food to a single candy bar. I call them the mini Walmart

The employees are great!, but the Manager and Asst. Manager are over worked they are ALWAYS There, feel sorry for their familiys. Also theft in this Area is crazy bad part of town but per DG there isnt much the Manager can do, She really takes care of her store!!

It's a Dollar General. The prices kept me from giving it a 1 or 2stars.Having said that, the staff is seldomly warm, or charming.If gas prices keep going down; I think I'll drive to Target over in Asheville to spend my money. Yeah, items cost more. And I'll burn 10 gallons of gas on the trip. But at Target, I've got a 90% chance of having someone smile at me and say, "Thank you for stopping by today. It was a pleasure serving you. Please come back soon." And saying it in a way that makes me believe they're sincere. Because the chances of a young lady with a smile on her face saying that in one of the 6 or 7 Dollar Generals in this county; is ZERO PERCENT LIKELY!! But at a Target in Asheville NC there's a very real possibility of that taking place.

This one is one of the cleaner and well stocked dollar stores I've been in. Staff is friendly & always willing to help. They have some items other dollar stores, don't have. It's a well run store. :)

Someone is always willing 2 help u if u have any questions...the ones in Ellenboro, Bostic, & Rutherfordton seem 2 have a lil more options than some of the others in our county & u can always find someone thats willing 2 help u if ur having any troubles & r friendly & dont make u feel like ur a bother if u ask them 4 their help.

This place is a nice and convenient place to shop and it has some cheap stuff however there is a bunch of creepy people that hang out here and smoke the staff are kind but rough looking.

There's never anything on the shelves. It's always sitting around in boxes on the floor. Can't even get a buggy through the aisles. So much stock everywhere except on the shelves

Nasty, workers outside smoking, their husbands helping them gather the trash up, you should be able to walk into a store without choking on someone's cigarette smoke. Junky store

We shop at the dollar general store on 221 we went in today there was new people in the store, my husband got a 12 pack of beer and the handle broke the lady I'm not sure if she was supposed to be the manager or what but she was very rude telling us how they would take the loss my husband appoliged an the cashier told him to stop whining very rude people we will not return
