My first time here. This is such a plant haven. Just one greenhouse but its pretty big to include a large variety of plants. So many rare species. Most of them are reasonably priced and in great shape. The owner was very friendly as well. Totally worth the 45ish min drive from Raleigh. Came home with a Philo Snowdrift and a Monstera Spotsylvania. Will be coming back soon.

This place is literally plant heaven!! I drove 2 hours to get plants, hands down it was totally worth the drive! This place is a gem, the staff was super welcoming, friendly and an expert on all of the plants! It felt like family talking to all of the workers! Super good prices as well, do not hesitate to take a road trip to this place!

I honestly cannot begin to express how much I love this nursery! I have bought majority of my “big” plant purchases from Growin Green and they have ALL completely THRIVED. I am always so happy when I go there, I love to shop around for hours, and even more so when I get my plants home because I know they are about to explode with growth. I bought these plants 1-2+ years ago and they are TAKING OVER. I love the selection, service and quality of the plants- I will forever recommend this nursery! Don’t hesitate, just GO!

If you love aroids, then this spot is heavenly. Growing green has a beautiful selection on tropical plants and ones I've never seen in person. His pricing is reasonable, and he also has a $2 section of baby succulents, cactus, and mixed varieties.

When I say I love this place, I mean I absolutely LOVE this place. I drive an hour for them because they have the biggest and best selection of houseplants. I felt like a kid in a candy store! I was there for literally 3 hours and had so much fun. YOU CANT BEAT THE PRICES! Not to mention how beautiful the plants are, and you can tell they take good care of the plants. Do yourself a favor and skip the big chains and come here! The workers are very knowledgeable and kind to answer my 100 questions lolIf you can't make it out here you can still check them out at the Raleigh farmers market!

I was SPEECHLESS walking through the door of this greenhouse today. Scott has the most incredible, mind-blowing, STUNNING collection of plants I have ever seen. He is so knowledgeable and friendly, and you can just feel the love and passion he has for what he does. He keeps his prices SO reasonable to let everyone experience the magic of plants instead of just making a quick profit off of his amazing inventory. I truly cannot say enough good things about Scott and his greenhouse and encourage anyone even remotely close to Nashville to make a trip to see him. You will be so so happy you did!

If I could give this nursery 10 stars, I would!! We went out of our way to stop by here on our travels from Virginia to South Carolina. It was absolutely worth it!! The owner is so kind and knowledgeable. He has a huge selection of houseplants - many that I’ve never even seen in person before! The choices were spectacular, and even just walking around the place is an experience. I was able to get my #1 wish list plant here for a very reasonable price and I just can’t thank the owner enough. I have already been recommending this place to my friends and I can’t wait to go back!

Scott and crew are great at what they do. Tucked away in Nashville, NC you’ll find a huge greenhouse filled to the brim with common to rare houseplants of all shapes, colors, and types. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful with questions. Definitely give yourself some time to walk the several rows or you’ll miss something.

This is a great little nursery with a huge selection. They have some super rare plants if you are wanting to spend the money that comes with that. (Monstera Burl Marx Flame, philodendron caramel marble, and many others)Also, in regards to customer service, I was driving home from visiting family out of state, and while I had intended to get there an hour before it closed, one thing led to another, and I was going to arrive 10-15 minutes after they closed. I was looking for a specific plant I had been told they had that I couldn’t find in the triangle. I called, asking if I could pay for one over the phone, and they leave it out for me to pick up. He confirmed they had it, and even waited for me to get there, and also in conversation, I found out he had another plant I have been looking for for months.Both plants were in great shape, no signs of pests, and very reasonably priced.I half wish they were closer to Raleigh, and I am half glad they are 40 minutes out, because I would probably go broke if they were closer.Thanks so much! I really appreciate you!

By far the best place to snatch up anything from a simple houseplant to a rare find from exotic corners of the earth I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The owner and staff are always a delight to talk with and possess a wealth of knowledge. I try to get by Growin Green as often as I can for some lively conversation and a few more plant babies.

Went for the first time today to visit the Ecuagenera pop-up. This place is breathtaking. Biggest selection, best prices, healthy plants, friendly and knowledgeable staff. What’s not to love? My wife and I made the 45 minute drive out here from Raleigh and we will most definitely be returning in the future. It blows every other nursery I’ve visited out of the water, especially if you’re a fan of aroids.

Growing Green is the best nursery I've ever been to. Scott, the owner, is incredibly nice and welcoming every time I arrive. He ensure the best, most beautiful stock is always on hand. Plants I've never seen before/heard of are constantly rolling through his doors. Could not recommend this place enough. It really is a gem of Eastern NC. 10/10

I went here yesterday and it's amazing!! Tons of variety and pretty good prices. I got a 2-inch string of turtles for $7 and they have beautiful and very full hanging pots for $35 (imo, absolute steal) and the guy there was very helpful! They have a couple VSOH in 4-inch pots for $35 and said they'll betting more smaller and cheaper ones soon. Also, the albo monsteras and thai constellations and phenomenal. I've never seen them in person but they are gorgeous! Not bad priced for what they are, but cheapest albo is $500 (rooted, multiple leaves, very healthy) and thai constellations are cheaper.

This place is absolutely amazing. I about died when I walked in and I’ve been to my share of nurseries. The number of rare plants here is incredible along with their very old plants and mature plants. I’d pay money to tour this place it’s that incredible. You have to check it out for yourself to understand. On top of that, their customer service is top notch. Highly recommended!

Growin green has been my GO TO nursery since I found out it existed. There is simply NOTHING else like this place anywhere in the area! Such a large selection of all kinds of aroids, and hands down the best selection of rare plants in NC. I have never been disappointed with a visit to Growin Green! It’s a heavenly oasis full of all the rare plants on any plant lover’s wishlist and prices that are more than reasonable. I’ve never been to a more welcoming nursery and I absolutely adore the fact that if I have questions Scott is so helpful in answering them, even on a holiday! All of the plants, I’ve purchased several, are all healthy and thriving upon purchase and again upon acclimation in their new environment. I honestly can’t rave enough about this nursery and encourage anyone, near or far, to make a visit at either their Nashville or Raleigh location!!

Absolutely lovely experience as always. One of, if not, the best nurseries I have ever been to. Picked up a white wizard today and had a chat with the clerk (Scott?) about how he’s able to provide them for much cheaper than his competitors. I appreciate a business that looks out for customers in this way. It’s nice to pay only $75 when he very well could be charging $250 for this plant like the sellers in Raleigh are.

Always a pleasant experience and VERY competitive prices. Scott and Garrick always make us feel welcomed. We brought a lot of our friends to their anniversary party and our friends proposed to each other in front of the beautiful Thai Constellation. Scott has gone above and beyond to help with our LGBTQ Non Profit as well by donating a beautiful plant for us to auction off for charity.I can’t say enough good things about this place, we’re headed back this weekend with my elderly mother. She loves watching the bog plants while we shop.Been to many other shops and the plants aren’t as large as the ones from Growing Green. A way better selection in Nashville vs the Farmers Market…. A must go.

Just incredible. Mr Scott carries the absolute best stuff, you seriously do not want to skip this place. Rare, exotics, starter friendly plants, large sizes, small sizes, add ons. It’s all there. He has had my business for a long time and will continue to as he has helped me learn so much. Him and his staff are always so helpful and friendly and seriously take time for you, and we know that’s rare, nowadays. I couldn’t say a bad word about this place. Thank you for your time and patience especially when I was a newbie willing to brave those rare plants.

I've been twice now ONLY because it is over an hour drive to Nashville, but this place really is a hidden gem! Like another reviewer wrote, I almost don't want to share the secret ;). Scott is very friendly and helpful. I've found houseplants there that I don't see anywhere else for sale in the Triangle area. A lot of more common things also. Most everything is marked with name and price which is super useful. The plants I've bought were healthy and pest free. Also, they carry Noot which I've only used for a week, but I have to say the potting mix is a nice airy blend that so far, my plants seem to love.
