Farmdogs is the best! Had the tents set up early and in the perfect spot. We even got rained on a bit and they held and kept the important stuff dry. Easy to book and 100% worth it, will definitely utilize them again.

This was the first time that we reserved beach services and boy are we spoiled! From my pre-booking questions to set-up each day, service was top-notch. The chairs are super sturdy and the canopy provides ample shade. When the wind kicked up, we had no worries. That canopy was not budging. I also love that they text you a photo the first day of where you are set up and your set-up is marked. We plan on visiting OBX next summer and will use Farmdog again!

Exceeded expectations and well worth the $$. From the initial call to reserve our setup to everyday finding it in Corolla, set up ahead of schedule and enjoying it until our beach days ended, Farmdog provided a great experience. Farmdog Surf made for a great vacation for us! Traveling with both grandparents and children, having the cabana set up every day for us was such a treat. Farmdog impressed us so much with their beach services. We had them set up our tent and beach chairs for the first time this year. Our group of families have been coming to Nags Head every summer for 10 years. Their services are affordable and really help us maximize our time at the beach. And they are truly “under promise, over deliver.” They had our tent set up earlier than expected every day. The tent and chair held up during the windiest days. I strongly recommend them. And we’ll now make Farmdog a part of our family beach tradition for years to come.

Farm dog made our OBX vacation absolutely fantastic. They are reliable, timely and incredibly friendly. Our tent was set up early every morning without any issue. We were sometimes still enjoying the beach in the evening when the crew came to break down the tent. They were always friendly and efficient. Used their service in Duck last week and it was so helpful! It was ready to go when we arrived and the chairs were all in great shape and comfortable. Big perk having someone there early to get ya a great spot especially in Duck and Southern Shores where the beach is so narrow. Will be signing up when we return next year!

We've used Farmdog for multiple trips to the Outer Banks. Their chair/umbrella/canopy setup service is fantastic. Literally the best money you'll spend on vacation. Being able to head to the beach without carrying all of those items, and knowing that you have a space already set up in front of your house is awesome.Every interaction we've ever had with anyone on their staff has been positive.

We have used Farmdog cabana services for several years and are always pleased with the service they provide. Having the cabana and chairs set up early each day definitely enhances our beach experience - being able to get out to of the sun in the heat of the day without leaving the beach is terrific. These guys were absolutely fantastic. The equipment was in great shape, priced right, and super convenient. You can return items outside of business hours and shoot them a text and let them know you dropped off the items. They were super helpful in selecting the right equipment. If you are looking for rentals in OBX Farmdog is it. I will be back for sure.

We were new to the Nags Head scene and beach. We called Farm Dog about renting a cabana and chairs. It was past their usual set up time but they did it for us anyway! We rented for a second day too! They were great. The cabanas and chairs are top notch.Highly recommend

Great experience all the way around! Rented 2 umbrellas and 4 chairs for beach set-up. Set-up was always ahead of time and with a smile, on the beach and right behind our rental home. Umbrellas are well anchored and not going anywhere! Exceptional customer service! Will definitely book with them again next time we are in Nags Head! You should, too!

Used Farmdog for the second summer at OBX. Although the beach was very crowded they always found us a great spot every day. It was always ready to go when we arrived at the beach and taken down late so we could make the most of the day. Owner was quick to respond when we made a request to have the set up a little bit further down the beach. We will definitely use them again next time we go to the OBX.For those looking to book, sign up for their emails because they offer a discount in early 2024 for the summer.

Great service and great staff. Chairs and shade were a must for our large group and Farmdog's services were perfect. Had a little issue during the week with some chairs missing but they came right out and replaced them minutes after speaking with them. On top of it, they offered a credit for that day. Was only a minor inconvenience for us but Farmdog's quick response couldn't have been better. Would highly recommend!

FarmDog is the greatest! We have used them for several years. Their customer service is top notch.We get one cabana, usually with six chairs. While their pricing is slightly higher than some others, the quality of their equipment is better. We know this from checking out their competitors' set-ups on the beach.I recommend calling them direct.

Best chair rental and set up company we've ever used. Farmdog Surf School is wonderful. They had everything set up perfectly every morning and their chairs are more comfortable than others we've used and they mount their umbrellas with a sand weight ensuring it stays up against the wind. We found their customer service to be great and they were super reliable. We'll definitely use them again in our next trip to OBX.

I actually have no used FarmDog but have a few run ins with their employees setting up chairs early in the morning. The young man was rude, moved our families chairs that were there already instead of moving a foot or so to the right. Certainly wouldn’t recommend a company who doesn’t treat others with respect never mind the people paying so much for this service. It’s vacation, that shouldn’t be stressful and we all share the beach.

Two Parts to this review:1) The Concept. Getting up and walking down to the sand and finding your canopy and chairs are already in place, and going back to the house whenever you want because takedown is somebody else’s issue. A perfect 5! Incredibly relaxing and totally effortless! This is a no brainer.2) This Business: Farm Dog Beach Service was as close to perfect as you’d expect. Easy online booking, chairs out every morning before we got there and taken away sometime after we left. A good heavy canopy with anchors so the wind wasn’t an issue. All items are in great condition. Totally effortless from booking to enjoyment. A perfect 5!

These people were fantastic to deal with- friendly, helpful, efficient. They had our tent and chairs up exactly as we had requested and texted when it was up each morning. I would definitely recommend them but even more- I will certainly use them again next year.

This was our second year using Farmdog for a cabana and chairs. The chairs are solid and comfortable and at no time was I worried about the wind moving the cabana. Highly recommend using them if you're in the OBX.

The beach setup service was awesome!!! We could not have asked for better. There were a few other setup services around us on the beach that I checked out but Farm Dog seemed to have the umbrellas much more secured than the others. One other service didn’t put the umbrellas up at all on the windiest day (it was REALLY windy) but Farmdog did and they held up great.It made our vacation week SO much more enjoyable not having to lug all of that stuff over the dune from the cottage and onto the beach. Also… all the guys in the house were able to go fishing earlier each day instead of setting the beach day up for the kids first 😜

We used Farmdog for tent rental and set up for the week. Boy was this service amazing! No more blown down/away umbrellas, no more rusted tents, no extremely expensive tents that need to be purchased every year! Best of all the tent was there on the beach each morning and picked up each evening. What an amazing service - no idea how we lived without it for so long! Farmdog even came back one day to move our tent out of the way of some rowdy beach partiers. Thank you!

Great experience. Tent was set up the day after check in and was always available when we made it to the beach. The reduced hassle of having to lug around chairs and a tent made it well worth it. Will use again in the future!
