Management is very horrible here, “coco” and “Courtney” do not know how to run the store, they are rude to their employees and do not act professional. please hire new managers it will benefit the store and bring more employees in to work.

Very friendly and helpful customer service. In an area where there are two big box hardware stores, Ace is one (non-big box) place that has competitive prices and friendly service and is focused on hardware.

Just went to the Nags Head store to buy a couple of bolts. While I'm looking, two employees and the customer they were helping nudged me out of the way so they could find bolts for the other customer. I had to wait until they were done to resume my shopping. Worst part is that when they were done, they looked directly at me, then walked away. No offer to help me. Then I heard them on the other side of the store screwing around. Two really inconsiderate women.

Ok. I've been thinking about reviewing this store. There's a gentleman there that works the back counter, his name is John. Go see him. He is the most helpful person in the store. The inventory at ACE does not compare to Lowe's but then again, ACE rep John customer service attention is worth visiting this place.

Maybe I went at a bad time or maybe the gentleman just started, he did direct me to the right aisle, but didn't know much about the kind of product I needed but he did stay there trying to help me but I found it got in and got out. He was very nice

We were looking for light bulbs for my church and found a whole line of light bulbs of every kind and description at 75% off. That's a great deal! Employees are always helpful and well-informed oh, and if they don't know the answer they'll try to find it for you. It's a local store with local help.

Always my go-to store for hardware, paint, electrical, plumbing and garden supplies. Good selection of bird feed and pet items as well. And, they stock an assortment of Bertie County peanut products which are hard to find on OBX.

ACE has everything you need without walking miles through a big box store. Staff work hard to help you find what you need and are happy to special order if they don't have it in stock. Tools. plumbing, outdoor furniture, cleaning supplies, garden supplies, vehicle polish and cleaners, even locally sourced peanuts, honey and other food items.

Just stopped there this AM to pickup a few things, nice folks but horrible pricing.I bought a small Damp-x moisture trap for our storage unit. Paid $14.99. Supposedly "on sale" 2.00 offOne hour later I went to Lowe's for another item and happened to see the exact same item regular price $9.99.What a RIP off why should anyone charge 50 to 70% more for same item. These people are nuts. I understand they may not have the same buying power as the big box stores but I thought the true value buying group was supposed to give offset that small store disadvantage. Evidently not.Lesson learned. Never again.If anyone from management reads this, I reccomend you adapt a price matching policy. At least that way consumers won't feel ripped off as I do currently.

This ACE is the best on the beach(unless you need repair work then it's Kitty hawk, only because they don't do it at this location), friendly knowledgeable staff, clean and organized. In most cases they can tell you if they have what you are looking for without looking around. And if they don't have it they'll tell you were to get it even if it's a competitor *gasp* ...... customer service over greed! I wish more businesses had that mentality.
