I counted 22 chicken packs that have gone bad (in both areas of the cold section the poultry section and the side cooler in the middle isle on the end), I told the self check out girl (brown hair and young 18-20 maybe) since that's all they have now, and she said "oh that's not my department". Bad chicken like this can kill someone due to the bad bacteria. A swollen package like this means the chicken was out of temp for a long time, and they just threw it back in. This was 2-26-24 when I saw this.

This location had stocking issues for sure. We were looking for quite a few things they didn’t have in-stock that they should carry. We were greeted but no other associate interacted on our visit. The fruit I wanted was not priced, the beverage isles were very low inventory and I left without purchasing those. We wanted Yahtzee pads and they had none and not even that game, only a random electronic version. Ice cooler was also almost out. Also outside the parking was very less than ideal with Togo orders getting 10 ideal front spots. I was dissatisfied on this visit for sure.

Ex boyfriend always preferred to drive to Murphy Walmart even tho Sylva is 25 minutes away. After visiting Murphy Walmart - I get it. It's the nicest one I've been to since leaving Nashville in 2017. Y'all the carts are quiet, in alignment, and roll solidly. Then the aisles are organized and not completely ransacked. Like I was on the level.of culture shock shook. Lol but seriously....Yeah I think I'll be driving down there now too.

This is where you pay more and expect less. This is where you are sold rotten food with a smile. When I've called to beg that their "pickers" please select the best expiration date, I'm told its not possible. I hate going here but it's a good desert, so no choice.

With all the remodeling, the store looks great, the clothing section ,now looks kinda like your in a mall, the employees worked very hard, finally now learning with things are, my shopping experience is great. Store looks amazing. Self checkout is monitored better, seems to have more help. Murphy Wal-Mart. Us now something to brag about.

The store is nice but it may be the first time I was made to feel uncomfortable by the employees at a Walmart. Went to the self scan and had quite a few groceries as I was visiting the area on vacation. The employee at the checkout just stood near the cart and seemed to be overly observing me scan every item as if I had some intention of getting one by her and stealing. I then observed two other male employees walk up to the area. I started to wonder if they thought I was going to run out of the store with the items I was scanning and clearly intended on paying for. It was weird and made me feel a little uncomfortable. Then when I went to walk out, the two males were talking to the female employee and they would not move out of my way. I said excuse me, they stared at me as if they couldn’t hear me. So, I had to squeeze my cart around them instead of just walking normally. It’s a wide area to get out of but the way they were standing made it hard to pass with a cart. Anyway, the store was great outside of that weird experience.

I have always avoided Walmart, preferring small markets. But with inflation I find myself there more. The Murphy location is pleasant, clean with huge open aisles and a great selection of Keto products.

Everytime I try to get something from the deli it's not good. Most days the food looks like it's been sitting half the day and I by chance catch when they bring out fresh tenders they are hard to eat, and dried out. Tried again today but they looked like they've been sitting. Will not try again. Tired of wasting money on food I can't eat not to mention the time waiting for someone to come see if I want anything and the time it takes to throw away.

Service was lousy as usual. Workers were too busy talking with each other in the aisle. I was right beside them. I waited over 5 minutes to interrupt their conversation to ask for service. I complained to the manager and they did nothing about it. The new buggies are not made for disabled people.

Walmart is price gouging on selected products that are very popular. For example, Schweppes diet tonic was $1.38 on April 12th and they more than tripled the price to $4.45 on April 14th. The identical product is available at Ingles Supermarket for $1.75. This same thing happened a couple of years ago with the same product. It makes you wonder how many people pick up products and don’t realize the price was tripled for no apparent reason. How many products are they doing this with? How many customers have been cheated without knowing it?

I was never a big Walmart fan, but this store is something else. It is one of the newly remodeled stores and this puts the Walmart shopping experience at a much better level. Soft lighting, more space, better assortment, modernized self checkout etc.

I tried to get a rebalance on a new set of tires on my truck because of a slight shake and the employee argued that it was a rock and I had to argue with get them to rebalance my tires then the shaking was worse after the rebalance

Stop emailing me when I go to your store. Ingles is right up the road, and leaves me alone. I know its automated, so no fault to the location or its employees. Nevertheless, it's almost twice as creepy as it is infuriating.

I gave this Walmart Supercenter a 4 Star rating for the Entertainment and Amusement Category! The picture is of the Cashier on Checkout Lane 5. A close up of the shaved right side of it's head, below the bright red Mohawk, and above the Gauged Ear shows a smiling face in red. What a clever and humorous touch! As I said, the 4 Stars are for Entertainment and Amusement. It does make me wonder about the HR Department, though...

I had a set of tires installed and the service was awesome. They were ready when I arrived and went to work. I was also surprised by how nice the seating was in the waiting area. It was a pleasant appointment. I got my tires rotated today and even though there were only three other vehicles it took two and half hours for them to finish. So allow plenty of time.

Five stars for Walmart? Sure. The Walmart in Murphy is great with friendly staff. In summer 2023 they are undergoing a major renovation but they seem to be keeping it all together. Fortunately the staff seems to be keeping track of all the moves. The “blue bin” staff know where everything is.

There was this nice lady who remembered my name. She also told me she was the same age as me and therefore I was not old. Nice costumer service.
