We were a couple of minutes late and Marc was at the door to greet us. We dropped the kids off and went and ran errands. Marc was done early and the " boys" look great. Thank Marc , the kids will be back.

Mark did an amazing job with my three miniature Pomeranian's. It was their first time being groomed, and Mark advised me that they really didn't need a full grooming because it wouldn't be good for their undercoats and to give it a few more months for growth. Mark is very knowledgeable and very informative. Highly recommend The Velvet Poodle Pet Salon!

Mark did great trimming our dog’s nails. She gets very anxious and does not like the process, he was super patient and did a great job. We will come back.No signage yet on his bay, but he is located in the last bay in the shopping center with El Manzanilllo mexican restaurant and car wash.

Friendly people, and they did a great job on my dog. She only gets groomed once a year so shes not a huge fan, he was very patient with her.They cut her nails, shaved her for the summer, bathed her and cleaned her ears and bottom for me. He had to wash her twice because my dogs play in the red clay and nap under a pine tree thus getting covered in sap. We will definitely be bringing her to them again! I highly recommend you bring your fur babies to them they do it right, and won't break the bank!

What a pleasure it was doing business with Amber and Mark. They are so friendly and nice. They were open to hearing our Husky's likes and dislikes. We were a little aprehensive about going to a new groomer but boy-oh-boy did they deliver. Our husky normally hates going to the groomer. We were absolutely astonished when he came galloping out to meet us. He looked wonderful and had so much energy it was easy to see how good he felt. I would recommend the Velvet Poodle to anyone looking for a reasonably priced and caring pet salon for their fur-babies.

I took my 16 yr old poodle and jack russell to the velvet poodle yesterday and I couldn't have been happier. They looked beautiful and the thing I liked the most is they don't triple book and make your babies stay in a cage for 3 or 4 hrs. My pets were the only ones there and were running around in the shop with the owners happily waiting for us to pick them up and it only took about an hour and half. Mark and Amber made us feel like we were leaving our pets with our best friends or a family member.

Mark and Amber are the best grooming company by far in this area. Not only do they make you and your pet feel welcomed like friends, but the 0 stress factor for my 14 year-old cockapoo was AMAZING! I was especially worried after her last grooming experience was so bad, and I didn't really want to drop her off as I had at the other groomers in the past. I explained this to them, and they had NO problem letting me stay to make sure it all went well. I have had groomers for my pets for over 35 years and noone has compared to this couple. I also loved getting the bakery goods for Abby and my friends' dogs. They ALL loved them and there was a special kind that Abby could eat with only 4 teeth. Highly recommend them!

This was our 12 week old bichon Teddy's first trim and we are thrilled with the results. Mark and Amber are wonderful and it was a great experience. Even Teddy enjoyed it! We highly recommend The Velvet Poodle to all dog owners, no matter the age, size or breed!

We stopped here while on vacation back in July 2021 to get both dogs nails cut and see what bakery items were available. The owners were extremely nice and our dogs destroyed the treats we brought back home. We also picked up a few cute dog collar bowties. We have since been back and are excited that they are still operating in the local area.

We took our working great pyrenees, Frances, in and she was a mess. She came out looking like a show dog. Highly recommend Mark at the velvet poodle. We are taking our other 2 pyrenees in for him to work his magic.

Wow. Wow. I have an approximately >8yr old rescue dog who is essentially a grumpy bite-y old man in a small dog suit. Kevin (my dog) has even growled and nipped me at nail trims . His nails are mega long because of it. (Yes, bad dog mom). I needed to leave Kevin to receive grooming services and thought for sure since Kevin has demonstrated bad behavior at other groomers in the past, I would be coming back toa)extra fees And/or “ sorry Kevin bit me”B) Kevin releasing tons of fur due to his anxietyC) A barky barky little grumpy old man dogInstead, I came back to some tail wagging and a little old man Dog who was happy to see me and who did not have anxiety shedding , groomed and looking better and warm smiles from the owners to greet me.
