The staff is always so very friendly! I always look forward to go into the store to shop or to get food.The soup is always really good and the rest of the food Is wonderful as well. For a gas station kitchen it is really amazing food! It’s always clean and like I said the staff is always so nice and greet you by name when they know you well.

just left with my pizza. the little girl that works there needs to learn some respect. i asked what kind of pizza she was putting out and she said the one the lady told you about. i could not hear her good this is why i asked that little girl. garbage response for as much money as i spend at that restraunt. if i knew what kind it was what would u ask again? i heard the spicy buffalo but not the 2nd pizza so i asked her.

I love Hotspot! I always have since the day I moved here!!The food is great their slushies aka "Frazile"and ice cream are even better and the staff has become like family to me! They are so pleasant and friendly. The morning staff as well as the afternoon staff love them all! There prices are fairly reasonable as well ! It's a great place to stop, wether you are traveling through or just for everyday visits for whatever! Even the gas prices are only a few cents difference from town! For starters all these reviews must be fake! Cant even drive a vehicle between the parking spots in front and the gas pumps if there are vehicles getting fuel. So i live and work here. So my experience is truthful! Whoever owns this place needs slapped for charging $8 for a “ breakfast bowl” . It’s a joke portion for 8 bucks. . $4 for a biscuit? Lol. After taxes its $5. And there fuel prices are not great like people say on here. There a joke like everywhere else.

We recently moved up here to Murphy and the this was the first place that helped me decide on where I wanted to live. Always friendly great selection in the store. Most of all extremely friendly, I felt like this town felt like home. There are no better convenience stores if you ask me!

Always grab a coffee on our way past to a client. Real half and half. Strong coffee. Really helpful staff and very friendly. Well trained. Always have a positive experience here. Recently upgraded. Nice job. Highly recommend.

I came into this store around 7:20 AM April 14th 2023, I got the biscuit and gravy on my way home from working night shift to try it out. Never eaten anything before and the people were so friendly. Biscuit and gravy was absolutely phenomenal I finished it in my car before I even left the parking lot. I can’t remember the man’s name but the guy on the register was extremely friendly and super cool. And you can tell he loves his job! He really deserves a raise. Will definitely be coming back there again.

I both work and shop here. It’s-a great company all the way around. I love hotspot and the fact that the owners actually appreciate their employees. Been all over the country this is by far the best company to work for and I love their rewards!!! Thank you to the Jordan family for being so humble.

I have never been treated so badly at a store. I came to this store to purchase some sprite and twisted teas, I do not have my ID on my person because I lost it out of town. Now I've went to plenty of stores that won't take the photo of my ID that is in my camera roll. Most of the time they just say "I'm sorry miss but we can't take that, we have to have the actual ID. I completely understand that there are store that have that policy and I'm a-okay with that and just go to a store that already knows my age! But this time the older blonde cashier that was checking my father and I out asked for my ID and my father's (again I understand selling to minors is a serious offense and I understand cashiers covering their back when it comes to selling alcohol/tobacco). I pulled my phone out and pulled up the photo of my ID. This woman proceeds to be extremely rude and have an attitude to both my father and I, and in a rude tone says "I can't take that!" (I have been to this store before and used that photo of my ID and never had a problem). I proceeded to tell her that they need to tell all their employees that a photo of an ID doesn't work because I hadn't had a problem last time I came and used it. she then looks at me and says in the rudest tone, "You want to take it up with my manager?" She completely embarrassed my father and I in front customers in the store. I am not mad she wouldn't take my ID, I was mad because of the way I was treated. No customer that comes into a store should feel embarrassed and made to look stupid because the employee cant keep their attitude in check. I would not use this store. There are 3 employees there that are great but this blonde old lady will be the reason I never go there again. All she had to do was say "I'm sorry miss I can't take that." but no she wanted to be extremely rude and all of it was very uncalled for.

Disrespectful staff. Who obviously hates her job since she is so happy to be at work she has to be rude from jump. Store is dirty. Nasty bathroom. And the rudest of them all is the tall blonde. She was so unprofessional and on Easter Sunday of all days. Something needs to be done. I would never recommend that any one visit the store.

Awesome staff makes me feel like I'm checking in with friends who genuinely care. While that makes the place great in it's own way, they also have an awesome local and craft beer selection and every kind of snack and drink. It honestly rivals the grocery stores around here...

Went into store and purchased drinks and 50 dollars of gas and was on my phone when went out side started pumping my gas the cashier ( Hailey) turned the pump off at 8 dollars.. and told me she that they were not selling me the rest of my gas because some one told her I said something about her I don't even know her or who ever said I said something.. I'm on E .. this is not right or fair I could understand it if I said something to her face.. but I did not nor did I say anything to anyone.. I was on my phone .. what gives her the right to go by hear say and stop my gas from pumping after I already paid.. and said nothing to no one. And when I went back into store she wouldn't even tell me what's was supposedly said or who said it.. so wrong what is wrong with people.. this is wrong and should not be allowed to do this type stuff...

Thank you so much sir!Their is this tall blonde, who works at this place that is just the absolute rudest person, she needs to fired for the way she thinks she talk and disrespect customers. Completely unprofessional and Hotspot as a place is absolutely disgusting and trash for how the treat workers and how their workers act to customers.And do not try to say it is NC state law. That is true but it is only true for the purchaser of the alcohol or tobacco. Done been over this with Walmart who also tried to pull this. It was proven false and wrong.Weird how bars and even law enforcement take a photo of ID. But they pick and choose which day to accept it. Sometimes they take the photo and coincidentally today oh we can’t take that.HOTSPOT is a joke I do not recommend going there unless you wanna be disrespected by an employee who don’t know anything.I’ll be getting in touch with corporate

I really don't understand why the black shirt lady named Karen just stands there in the middle of a line of people and walks off with me waiting and the little old lady being the only one ringing people up and the lady asked her to help and her response was something and walked off! Poor poor poor management will not be back!

Stopped there Feb. 26 ,2019 with a friend to gas up and buy drinks. It is a busy spot yet the lady who checked us out whose name was Lynn was incredibly professional and took time to answer my questions. I have no clue what the pay is there for a cashier but unless it is over $10 hourly, it is not enough. I do hope the owners appreciate their hard work. I wait tables in a restaurant and to attend that number of people in such a timely manner and stay on top of the work required would have to require a lot of patience and very high intelligence. Gas prices were much lower than I am used to, thank goodness. I give them 5 stars, mostly because of Lynn. Thanks girl!!!

Great convenience store! This place has everything you need in my opinion, the gas prices are on par as well as the beer selection. They even have a kitchen in back with some excellent food for lunch and an even better selection of country style breakfast selections. Hot Spot is definitely a local "hole in the wall" favorite of the community!

My husband, my 7 and 5 yr old, And myself stopped here on the way from tubing to get snacks and drinks for the night. I forgot my wallet at our cabin, given the circumstances and the girl working would not let my husband purchase the $60 worth of items including a small pack of beer and bottle of wine without BOTH of our ids. I understand there may be some reason they ask for this but we found it completely ridiculous and left all items at the register and would never spend $1 there if our lives depended on it.

I’ve been a loyal customer that wouldn’t go to a different station for over 5 years, but your new assistant manager Debbie, will make me never go back, the rest of your staff is wonderful and makes me feel like family. But her outright rudeness and yelling at the other staff, made me make this place as a joke. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere

Store too small for pleasant experience. Love the coffee bar, but not enough space to enjoy it. For the amount of business it generates, there are only two cashier's and wait is a bit long.

This store has great gas prices, and the staff has always been friendly. They have a eating area with fresh self serve hot dawgs, nachos, and sausage dawgs daily. This store stays busy, and it can be a wait sometimes for gas or when in line to pay.

Typically has the best gas prices without driving to Georgia. The inside of the store is decent if you need to buy something. There is a cash-only restaurant in the back of the store. This gas station is not known for its restroom amenities.
