I have never had an issue with, really, any Big Lots i've been to. The Murphy Big Lots is no different. I do wish they had their own delivery service. They have a couch (300.00) I want, but the delivery company wants as much as the couch for delivering it a short distance.

Hey everyone... We are soooooo happy with everything about our recent visit and purchase. My wife and I went to look and ended up with a bedroom set that we love. Cathy, the person that helped us was VERY knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.. she was very attentive to what we were wanting and then absolutely knowledgeable about anything we asked... She even looked up and info that she didn't know so she could tell us. The bed set itself is BEAUTIFUL It is very well built and seems to be good quality so far. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to Big Lots and Cathy.. we will be back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Big lots furniture is junk have not even had them for 6 months one is broke down and sitting lopsided and don’t ever get sit in either I set On couch more than I do recliner because of the issue we have went through several recliners through them needless to say I’m done with there furniture and the sad thing about it it started falling apart 4 months after we had them u should get way more out of them then 6 months

I was very pleased to drive over to Murphy NC to go to Big Lots I was even excited I hadn't been to a store over 8 yrs. Store was so clean. Isle were clean not blocked shelf were stocked and neat.Furnture well placed. Sale items were well visible.Staff helped if u couldn't find something or a price.. store was quite wRm though there air wasn't working great.Cloths were nice average prove about like walmart.Halloween and Fall,Thanksgiving Decore is out being put out every day.. good prices. I wish the prices were a little lower..It in a good location. Right off the by pass almost in town, Bealls , Dollar General, Save Alot, Burger King, several other stores ,Fast food were right there. Parking lot was clean plenty of parking wheelchair, entrance was wheel chair accessible.

Love the variety and good prices here. Always like a treasure hunt. Asian snack mix and Stroopwafels! Array of seasonal items. Snacks, drinks and most needed food goods.

EDIT: Staff is still lovely, however , the store has 90% of the items unpriced and no way to know the cost of things. I left items on the shelf rather than to seek out a staff member to clarify the price. If you ask me, they're looking to close this location.I can't say enough about the staff at Big Lots in Murphy. They've been extremely helpful each time we visit. Each time we've bought large items, they graciously offer to bring it to our car and load it. Brought back a defective part from a desk we purchased and they exchanged it without question. Highly recommend this store.

We have had two recent visits to the Big Lots in Murphy, North Carolina. Our visit 3 weeks ago was pleasant with a nice man working in the furniture Department who was willing to help us with what we needed. Both of the managers that we have spoken to seem to be very helpful. Our most recent visit was 2 days ago and the young man working in the furniture Department what's not very friendly . We did place an order and worked with the outside delivery person who leaves cards in Big Lots. We had ordered two items and when we got them one was the correct item and the other one was not. Apparently there was no double-checking done when the items were given out at pick up. We will now have to take the very large item back to Murphy to either trade it for the correct item which is no longer in stock meaning we would need to wait or to get ourselves a refund.

It's a nice place, clean and mostly organized. The only problems I have are: the wifi isn't the best when you want to get a credit card for the store, and they should have more cameras there are so many blind spots, and me being in customer service myself it's crucial to minimize them. Still a great place for cheap and high quality merchandise

This is the best! Great owners attentive to customers needs and service with a smile and style! Food is not 'bar food', but the real deal. No longer is the wait long the dishes remain ohhh so good! Live music on Friday nights. Come on over!

I wanted to buy an inexpensive couch for my cabin. I found one I liked and he checked in the back. Out of about 20 couches or more that they had on display, there were only two couches in the whole store in their inventory. Whoever is in charge there needs to be fired. I have never been to a big lots before and will never return. Their reputation as a dumpster fire of a business is well earned. Seriously, whoever the manager is, needs to be canned big time.

Bought a couch from Big Lots last night. It was almost 100.00 off. We loved the couch and could not afford it last time. This time we could. The customer service lady Jill was amazing and helped us through the whole process. It was easy. We are picking it up today because it would not fit in my SUV. Thank you Big Lots!

Our first time at this big lots and immediately pam approched us and welcomed us and offered to help. We found everything we needed and at checkout we saw pam again and she was just so nice. Susan was next to her. Really nice too. I just have to say big lots has two great employees. I will definitely shop often because they make it pleasant. Thank you
