We have Huskies and they are dramatic to say the least. The staff at Totally Dogs were very patient and sent my babies home looking beautiful and calm. Won’t ever go anywhere else.

Most of the staff are friendly, but I still feel uneasy leaving my 3 dogs there for grooming. I was not impressed with the younger female staff member there. The way she approached me was not inviting or warm, she just asked what I wanted and then grab my dog and then left. No smile no reassurance my babies will be well taken cared of.3-4 hours getting groomed can be terrifying for your dogs. They don't know what's going on. They have to process the fact that you just abandoned them. There's lots of loud noises and other dogs intimidating them. They get thrown underwater and slathered in slimy stuff they don't know what it is. They don't know they need to close their eyes so they don't burn from the shampoo. They can't tell you if the water is cold or boiling. They have to roughly be scrubbed dry. Then a loud blow dryer blares in their ears to dry them and one of the groomers I've seen smoke on numerous occasions so the pups have to deal with smelling that for hours-I think humans forget Dogs senses of hearing and smell is a million times stronger than a humans so if you find the blow drying loud and smoke smells giving you a headache imagine your little pup. And then to be chained up on a table to be groomed and nails cut....all this can be very emotionally taxing on the furbaby and their parents. So bottom line is: if you're going to run a business, ensuring your employees have service etiquette.You wouldn't want to be thrown into a 6 foot swimming pool, then blind folded and then have your nails trimmed with a chainsaw out of the blue now would you?I know this review may SOUND dramatic, but it takes 0.5 seconds for the staff to smile to reassure your leaving your babies in good hands.I have used their services 4 times now and everytime I take them there I feel like a bad dog mom and I shouldn't. I should know they will be safe and well taken cared of.

I absolutely love this place! I wouldn’t want to bring my dog Tank anywhere else. Heather is so accommodating, she knew Tank was high anxiety, and was willing to bring him back in on a quieter day, and even made note in her calendar to keep it a quiet day to keep him calm. Tank gets a full bath, nail trim and deshedding, for an affordable price!

My husband will NOT let me go anywhere else! The girls who work here need to be acknowledged and REWARDED for their SUPERIOR work. My dog, an Italian greyhound mix, is overweight due to an under active thyroid which she has to take meds for. There is NO WAY I could possibly hoist her up without my back killing me. I do NOT know how they can do this work day in and day out but I appreciate them and will always rely on them. When my dog comes home she is squeaky clean and smells sooooo good. I would have to say that she will have a “glow” about her; ….she actually “sparkles”!!! She will be “runway ready”…like a supermodel.Totally Dogs is honestly one of the BEST things about living here in Moyock, NC. I LOVE them!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Tracy does a wonderful job on our 11 month Shih Tzu. As you can expect an 11 month pup can be a handful. He looks so good after she is done. She is a professional and always punctional. I encorage all to give her a opportunity to serve you and your pet.

I took my 15 year old cat to get her nails trimmed. She’s full of anxiety usually, but these ladies took such great care of her. Not to mention it was a walk-in and they took us right in. Thank you to them! They have a new customer for sure!

Today I took my 11 yr old Pomeranian, and they did a great job. You can tell they really care about your beloved pet. My dog not only looked good, but he wasn’t as stressed.

We tried this place based off the other good reviews and a referral from another group. Our pup needed a bath/hair cut/nails trimmed as it’s been a while. We dropped him off and didn’t get a call that he was ready until 3.5 hours later (I understand there are other dogs but wow that’s a long time). When my husband went to pick him up he seemed fine. When I got home I noticed his hair was still long in some areas, which is totally noticeable. Lastly, his nails. Oh my goodness, I’m already particular over who cares for our pup but, his nails are so rough. It doesn’t look like they were smoothed at all. A true shame we didn’t have as good an experience as others.

Best groomers hands down. I can't even begin to write down every good thing about them. Fast, perfect cuts WITH CARE everytime. I travel from DC just to have them care for my two elder cockers. No one in DC can cut their hair as quickly, as nicely, and at a good price like Totaly Dogs can.
