I saw the signs alson tje road advertising fudge. I knew that I had to stop. I bpught a pound and with a pound purcjasef you get one half pound free. Each square is about o e forth pound. I chose 6 different types or flavors. They alsohave weirdly named beers. The tomatoes and strawberrys in small baskets.

We love this place- wonderful, friendly owners working hard to train staff, make improvements and provide quality produce and products. It is our first stop on the way to the Outer Banks and our last stop coming back! When each is in season, the cantaloupes, strawberries, corn, blackberries, tomatoes, peppers, butterbeans and peaches are our family favorites. We also love the new coffeeshop, taproom, gift shop and FUDGE counter- delicious coffee and coffee drinks, a wide variety of beer offerings, wine and gourmet foods, and that fudge you cannot turn away from!We love the fact that this market, though making improvements and offering a wider array of products than previously (including a schedule of Live Music!), sticks to its roots of still being a "roadside market." The atmosphere is friendly, the produce is selected, and there is less "grand commercialization."Our favorite market!

Great stop to not only stretch your legs but they do have some great produce, ice cream, fudge, etc. You will see the signs leading right up to the market. We stop here every year, before heading to the beach to grab some fresh produce, especially the peaches. They are so flavorful, soft, and juicy. There is plenty of available parking, restrooms and an area for our furry friends. Very conveniently positions right off the road.

This place shows its age. It has tons of roadside signs and old carts needing replacement or removal. In addition they fly US flags and Israel flags on the roadside signs and do not take care of or replace the severely torn flags which is a disgrace. The lot around the produce stands is sub par and unpaved, often scattered with too many signs and wood pallets. Needs a refresh. Any produce stand that has fruit and veggies with the same grocery store UPC stickers stay away from. Definitely not “local produce”.

This is an open air market. So much variety! Fruit, vegetables, baked goods, fudge, nuts, popcorn, cider, honey, syrup, pickles. Port-a-potties, pet area in back. Even selling Christmas trees right now! Very friendly people. Gravel parking lot.

Most expensive Farmers market I’ve ever seen if not triple in price. $25 for a small pie. Prices are a complete sham to the industry. Asked where they got their produce, “didn’t know”. Grocery market stickers tell the truth. Avoid this place.

The produce looks tasty with plump blackberries and ripe peaches. And they have quite the variety. Yet some of the baked looked underbanked. It also was strange since as much as they market their fruits and veggies, they seemed to market their love for Israel more.

We stopped in to get some hoop cheese and that was a young lady that was just working her tail off all by herself If she was very informative and nice I would recommend this place to anybody traveling to the outer banks They're news brewery Is state-of-the-art very nice

We couldn’t not stop after seeing so many signs advertising so many things. The signs had us amused. It was not peak season so not all things were available. We were glad we stopped anyway. We purchased some wonderful strawberries and and bought way too much fudge—we chose five varieties. Loved them all.

Good location between OBX and Virginia state line. Staff not helpful at all. Physically challenged customers need to walk on gravels and carry the fruit and veg baskets by themselves. Items are pricey as expected in most markets of this kind.

Stopped here a few times on the way back from OBX. Almost all of the produce isn't grown locally (it has stickers on it from various places) and it is always over-ripened to the point where it will start molding/rotting the next day. It's just a tourist scam. You'd be better off just shopping at your usual grocery store and going to a farmer's market on the weekend.

Expensive fruit and food isn't that big of a deal. It's the No bathrooms just uncleaned porta johns that made it not worth the stop. Even the coffee shop next door didn't have a bathroom. But the ice cream was nice and so was the lady serving it.

Really good coffee! We stopped randomly looking for produce and were pleasantly surprised by the coffee shop! The coffee was actually quite good - we are coffee snobs and this was a very nice surprise to find coffee that was drinkable without loads of sugar/extras.
