This is by far the best pet store I've been in. It has so much more to offer. Stephanie Harris helped me with finding the items I needed and was very informative on any questions I had. Well worth the drive from the OBX.

The prices are good and the staff is friendly. Even though this is a smaller store, I typically find way more than my dogs need 😄. If you are traveling south, turn right at the Taylor's Do It Center and they are right behind their building. They welcome pets too. They sometimes have holiday displays for posing your pet in. In addition to dog and cat food, toys, treats and other supplies they also offer fish, small animal, and and reptile supplies. They have several locations in this area.

CareALot pets is one of the nicest pet supply stores I've been to. They have a big town amount of pet supplies with a small hometown feel. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help when needed. They are my go to store for pet supplies.

A couple of weeks ago, while heading to the Outer Banks for vacation, I noticed my dog's harness was giving her a sore or rash under her armpits. This was the first pet store I had seen after I noticed her issue, and the staff was so friendly. A lady, maybe the manager, insisted I bring her in to try some harnesses until we found one that wouldn't irritate her armpits. She then gave me a tube of ointment for her sore and would not let me pay for it even though I insisted. I was very shocked to have such good customer service, and if I'm ever in Moyock, NC, again, I will be sure to give them my business.

The store and staff in Moyock are amazing! They go above and beyond to get exactly what their customers need. Always happy, polite, and helpful no matter if it's in store or over the phone. The store is kept clean. Curbside orders are always ready on time and if there is any questions about an order, they don't hesitate to call and discuss to make sure you get what you need. They have my highest recommendation!

Employees are SO friendly and helpful. Clean, organized store. Dog food prices are higher than other places. But toys are a good price. The pee pads are cheaper here vs the Moyock Food Lion and are comparable to Amazon prices.

We took our dog captain today to give him a bath. It was so much better than trying to do it at home! And the store manager Angie came in before we started and made sure the entire area was clean and that we knew where all of the things we would need were. Angie showed our dog AND our 11 month old daughter lots of love and talked to each of them, and was very friendly with us! Would highly recommend this location. Especially the bathing area! Good prices, and it takes the hassle out of having to use a cramped tub at your own house. All of the staff are always helpful and offer our dog treats and pettins

Our groomer retired last year and we have been struggling to find another one. We came in to the store, talked to the groomers and made an appointment for our Shih-Poo. We are so happy with their service. The groomers and staff at Care-A-Lot are amazing. They treat our little 10 year ole Shih-Poo, Snookie with great care. She acts like a puppy when they are done. Her actions say it all…Thank you 😊 ❤️

I am working in the area for the winter and needed a specific fog food. They looked it up, ordered it, and called me in a few days when it came in. I am extremely impressed at the brands and quality items this store has as well. Very friendly staff!

Wash your dog for $15. Shampoo and necessities supplied. Nice tiled tubs with steps. My 168 lb Mastiff mix had plenty of room. Doggie hair dryer. Aprons for yourself are also provided.

MORE THAN 5 stars!!!!!! A big-time store in a little town but ALWAYS makes you feel like you are number one. I have called several times about my cats food and litter and they always have it ready to go when I get there and take it to the car for me. Their prices are better than competitors even the toys. Huge variety of essentially everything, along with a great return policy. I have bought probably 25 items not including litter and have never returned anything! The staff is super friendly and always willing to help they have everything you need from tiny animals do you great big dogs exclamation top brands exclamation I am so glad they’re in a little town

Great selection, high prices. Tried to return a dog toy, less than 24 hours old. It said it was toigh and durable. Ripped in less than 24 hours. They would not do a refund or even an exchange even though we have the receipt.

I was in a panic as I had forgotten my pet's food and we were visiting locally from virginia on Friday 16th and they closed in 4 minutes. I came in looking for a specific dog food and treat my dog used. The associate was very helpful even though they didn't have the treats we used she showed me one very similar in protein and was from same co. She was patient, all associates were,, even though they had closed showing me to the fog food and waiting for me to browse the larger selections offered by my brand of choice. I checked out 15 minutes after they closed. I will will have no problem referring anyone the experience was great and will be sending my family member there to shop for me for my pets so I can pick up when I visit 😊

Great store. I love that they built this store so now I don't have to go all the way to VA Beach to that one. I love the cat food and other items they have. They also stock a lot of dog items and other small animal items. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean.

This is THE BEST place to buy your pet supplies. Their employees are the greatest. Amanda is especially one of my favorites. She is always so helpful, and always orders stuff for the store that she thinks my family may find helpful, or useful. Today I gave my pup a bath there and left behind an expensive grooming brush. Amanda took the time to hunt me down and contact me to make sure it wasnt stolen or misplaced. Thank you so much !!! I also know the owners, and they are very involved in helping lives in need. Y'alls work is not unnoticed. Thank you!!
