Cat-erday is easily accessible to schedule out feline babies for nails and sometimes baths. Staff are professional and thorough. Our cats don’t mind the nail trims! We appreciate the way in which our furry family members are cared for by this great team!

Brought Sam my ESA to get groomed he left with pain and now after a few weeks can walk but he is still in pain and has permanent limp. My rebuttal to the owners is that my dog was holding up his back rear right paw once he exited the place. We initially thought it was a nail cut too short. He is still limping. He was fine when he went in and in horrible shape when he left. We did NOT wait hours to call. We called within 15 minutes. He has never had an issue like this until he left this shady business. Also, he wasn’t even groomed properly. They left long patches on certain areas of his fur to boot. They would not even show us the camera footage of the grooming. I know the incident occurred there and these owners are very greedy people. Be careful. I’d also like to say he had a groomer before after we moved to this area and there were never any incidents.

Overall the experience went well with boarding, I picked my puppy up the next day and he was safe and happy to see me. I was overall pleased except they didn’t give my puppy the cheese I had packed special for him and I told them he was a picky eater, especially when stressed and this was my puppy’s first time not being with me overnight so of course he’s going to be stressed. Don’t know if they attempted to give him the other special food I had packed but the cheese…. His favorite was still in the food bag upon pickup along with leftover kibble I had packed in a ziplock bag and it was poured out all in my overnight bag the next day when I picked him up and they reported he barely ate anything so why didn’t they follow my specific instructions? Maybe an innocent oversight but it bothered me bc I left clear instructions, I even wrote a note and put it in the food bag. Also, I was charged extra bc it was spring break week and I was not told of this in advance. They are higher than other boarders in town as it is, and especially with the extra spring break rate they throw on you at pickup . Why does it have to be higher during spring break? So they can capitalize on an increase in customers while school is out and families are traveling on vacation without their pets? Doesn’t seem to be good business practice except for their own pocketbook. On the upside, although more expensive than other boarders, They will take care of your pet and provide it with its own comfortable space and provide adequate potty breaks.

My pup loves going here!! When I took Gimli in the other day for his full groom, he was so happy! He looks great (Brussels rough coat), but more importantly, I can feel confident he is well treated here as he can be timid when even spoken to harshly.

Took my esa dog in to get groomed. He went in just fine but after i picked him up he had an injury and couldn’t even walk for a week and the owners didn’t even care. They will not take responsibility for their staff’s negligence. They refused to show me the video footage when he was being groomed. I even reached out to them and they refused to help with vet bills. My dog never had a problem until he went there. He may have a permanent limp for the rest of his life. Very cold and irresponsible owners. Beware.

Won't be going back!False advertising and harm to pet.The Works Deluxe Bath per website includes "anal glands.Have taken our two one-year old mini-goldendoodles to the same groomer every six weeks for the last 8 months.Yesterday, one pup threw up twice and had two bowel movements followed by drops of blood all over the living room and hallway.Took him to the vet who said anal gland was very, very full with infected fluid. It required a painful anal gland expression, antibiotics and IV fluids for dehydration. Cost of care $181.00.Spoke with Paws and Claws Manager who said they are not ultimately responsible for expressing anal glands. Website also says "staff will put your pets welfare before anything else".This did not happen.Unfortunately customer expectations were not met and management was unwilling to address.

Patrick has been here for boarding and daycare several times and we have always had a pawsitive experience! The prices are reasonable and the staff are very kind and friendly. This photo was taken right after a board today.

Henry appeared to be well cared for during his stay at Pa ws and Claws. The staff appeared to really care for him. I can easily recommend them for pet care.

Took my standard poodle puppy here and they did An amazing job on his very first puppy groom. He looks amazing and smells great! They also gave me tips to use at home to keep his hair well maintained between grooms. Highly recommend!

I take my long haired calico, She-Ra, in twice a year for a bath and cut and have for the last 3 years. Never have I been disappointed. I'm so happy I found Paws & Claws. I volunteer and am on the board with a local cat rescue- The Cats' Cradle, and I quickly refer anyone who is looking for grooming services to Paws & Claws!

I bring our Bernese Mountain dog to Lisa to get his pawdicure usually once a month. He loves just to be at Paws and Claws and always has a smile on his face there. Lisa is very calm and she cares about her clients and work. She goes above and beyond what I ask for. The whole staff is very caring, knowledgeable and resourceful. I definitely recommend Paws and Claws!

Paws and claws used to be an amazing place to bring your pet. They were reasonably priced, the staff was always friendly, and you knew your dog was getting to spend most of the day outside playing. However, the manager has been adding so many new dogs that the facility doesn’t have sufficient space for them. Now dogs only spend about four hours outside, to prevent overcrowding in the yard, and are locked in a kennel for the rest of the day. To make things worse, they now charge upwards of 35 dollars per day for your dog to sit alone in a kennel. It seems they place profit over caring about the experience of your pet.

Paws and Claws has made our pup’s life so MUCH better!! Before yesterday our girl was so afraid to be groomed she fought me all the way!! The staff at Paws & Claws was so professional and concerned with her well-being! They also gladly posted all her information and my contact numbers. The grooming must have been a breeze, too! She looks like a doll and came out to me happy and full of herself! She loved her time there!!!!

I was impressed with the professional attitude of the workers at Paws and Claws. Even though my dog did not pass the evaluation for being with the other dogs for daycare, I could tell that the workers had tried to integrate my shepherd into the mix. I was impressed that the facility had procedures in place to slowly socially integrate the dogs, and if they didn’t pass, they also had a plan for my rather bossy girl, so she wouldn’t be totally alone when she was being boarded.

Paws and Claws helped us out in a pinch when we were in Morganton at a pet friendly hotel with 2 Scotties. We had a problem because even though pets are allowed, we couldn't leave them in their cages in the room without us and we had several dinners and a funeral to attend!

My dog loves going there and playing with other dogs. She is very energetic and she needs the exercise stimulation since we don't have must yard space and time to give her these needs. She comes after being at doggy day care and she is a lot calmer.

Lisa and her staff never disappoint. When I say we're going to see Lisa, Blessing, my pup gets so excited. Her grooming is always done so beautifully with every detail included. When I board Blessing at Paws and claws, I miss her but I don't worry about her. Lisa's expertise leaves me confident that Blessing will be safe and cared for. Best of all, Lisa loves our animals. Jewel Havapom had her first bath and routine care and she is absolutely beautiful. I am so glad I took her here because the ladies were so sweet and helped me to relax as it was my first time there and the first time for my baby. When I picked her up besides missing me she was very happy and they did a great job, everything I asked for and the things I asked them not to change they didn't. Wonderful experience. I will go back and I will try the daycare too.
