This is and has been my go to hardware store for 20 years. They tend to have everything I need for my projects and repairs. Friendly and extremely helpful staff. I only have not found what I was looking for twice in all these years. I prefer to buy local and support local businesses. It is worth going there!

This store has it all. If they don’t have it you don’t need it. Rebuilt my wilmington grill from parts they have in stock everyday here. Great customer service and everyone ready to help as soon as you walk in the door. Shop here!

Went in today to buy some screws. A Hispanic gentleman asked if he could help. The guy was super helpful and extremely knowledgeable! I’m sorry I didn’t remember his name, but I did remember his customer service and that’s what prompted me to write a review! Outstanding!!

Super great hardware store. Love going there. Has everything you think a hardware would have and even more. They carry, plumbing, electrical, building, lighting, tools, hardware, ETC. Great prices throughout the store. Staff have outstanding knowledge about the products they sell. The staff also are very professional, friendly and strive to give you the best service you deserve as a customer. There is handicap parking and access. You won't regret shopping there.

A GREAT hardware store with fantastic customer service!!! I'm building an outdoor shower and they helped me gather up all the parts for the water and electric( for dedicated water heater). I had a plan and know how to do what I want to, but just putting together the right materials is challenging. Not so with these guys!!! Thanks guys for your help.

One of the last few great hardware stores around. This place has a little bit of everything. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They are willing to try and get certain things they may not normally keep in stock. Prices are a little higher than a big chain store, which is to be expected, but not to bad overall. They have been there for quite a while and hope they continue to do well in the future.

I love going to William's hardware. Personal service, you don't have to walk a mile to find someone. They always have exactly what you need sometimes less than the big box stores. If it's a little more, you haven't spent an hour parking and looking.

These folks have customer service ingrained in their DNA. They greet me and help me find exactly what I need every time I visit. This is no big box warehouse. Today they referred me to another business because what I wanted wasn't in stock. They were so gracious. Great place to shop!

The days of your local, helpful hardware store have not ended in Morehead City. Williams is definitely “true value” (sorry).Service, service, service. In addition to getting you to the right product, I’ve had this team stand with me deciphering how to tackle a project, even going out back to pvc glue some pieces together for me! That is service and care.I go here for home and marine as much as I can. I don’t need to think twice about the prices as they are typically less than Ace, similar to Lowe’s and WalMart to keep me from going to the big box.

Ask for help and you get help wIth years of experience. You can still buy one nail, one screw, one flat washer and only high quality products. Any business that sells Coke and/or Dr. Pepper in a glass bottle....well, that alone tells you they know what they are doing. All the locals go here. It ain't no tourist attraction, but stop by for a hello and a drink, drank, soda, soda pop.....no matter what you call it.....in a glass bottle.

Always a full staff and they are eager to help. Borderline "I think you're going to steal something so I'm going to watch you like a hawk" service but that's ok. The big box store could use some of that once in a while.
