Went to check out paddle boards today and found a great deal. They had coolers, life jackets, flip flops, boat shoes, hats and all kinds of stuff to enjoy the coast. We will be back!

I received excellent service here. After I left I found that I did not have a receipt for some other expensive items, and with a phone call a few days later, one of the employees emailed that receipt to me. I was satisfied. I would shop here again.

West marine Morehead city has got everything you need for your day on the water. They’ve got fishing tackle, boat parts, boat cleaning supplies, boat electronics. Great service! There pricing is a bit high but they have everything you need and if it’s not in stock they can order it for you. They have a great return policy also.

Lots more expensive then some other locations. They did have most of what I was looking for, and staff to help me find it. Knowledgeable staff in the electrician department. At the register kind of pushy with the rewards, but that's par for the course. Still super friendly.Store was nice and clean and well laid out.

Placed online order to ship2store. Of course, it's winter and not in Morehead for a while and "policy" cancelled my order b/c I had not picked it up w/in 7 days! RATS!!! While Andy "fixed" my situation it is STILL an inconvenience to deal with. I want to order something right now from WM but it's NOT in stock and I'm not sure when I'll be back to Morehead for pick up @ the MH store! WM, time to update your "policy"! Manager SARAH was the BEST!!!!

Staff here is generally more helpful and knowledgeable than other area WM stores.Staff is lax on telling customers about unadvertised discounts. Specifically, price matching deals. I've walked away forgetting to ask for it several times and left a lot of money on the table.Price Check folks.

Can’t say I’m a huge fan of West Marine as a company but this store in particular has top notch employees. Chris (manager) and Ana have really helped me out on few occasions when the companies I bought product from (warranty issues) refused to. That’s great customer service and I will continue to give them my business for that reason alone

This West marine was a very helpful. The staff were very attentive and when I went there to look for a VHF radio they were quick to help me and lead me to the correct section and also had ample amounts of knowledge about their products. The transaction went smoothly and I will surely be coming back again.

They was having trouble at register's. Wait was 15 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. Then my card was denied. It was never before. Went to parking lot got cash with same card and went to Walmart across street and was much cheaper and I tried used my card there.

Prices have got better most of the staff is helpful the selection is great cant beat that. Normally order online but there are just something you need to see before you purchase it. Will say they have a very up to date selection of everything will be a returning customer.

W.marine price matches amazon. Thats pretty great depending on the item. Staff at morehead dont always have the answers but they are always nice and want to try to help. Good selection at this store.

I used to hate having to get something at West Marine because their prices were near criminal. I had left a one star review here a couple of years ago but decided to come back and change it. I had heard that West Marine was now price matching, even online vendors. I have now made several purchases that were price matched with online vendors prices with no issues whatsoever. I will happily be a returning customer as long as this continues.

They had my favorite head covering for boating, the buff, on sale! Clean too! Could work on friendliness, we came in with 20 minutes to spare and the attendant seemed insistent on showing us to exactly what we wanted (seemingly to speed up the visit)

Good selection of boating gear. Large clothing section. Always the most expensive store for boating items. If you have the time, buying online will save you money. However, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
