Which Walmart am I reviewing? Every Walmart except Jacksonville, has been fairly nice. They all seem to be improving over the months. I was in Sam's Club recently and it reminded me that no matter how busy a big city store can get store can stay clean, and well-stocked. Treating customers with a little understanding and a smidge of patience is not that hard even when busy. Jacksonville Walmart could take a few human-resources classes from Sam's Club. So far, not so standard-priced. I found out some interesting facts about our local area Walmarts. Morehead City and the Swansboro site. I knew big cities like Miami and Denver could and probably do very low prices on many items. But two Walmarts separated by maybe twenty miles and share the same HWY you wouldn't think the price would even come into your head when heading out. Well, it should at least when it comes to technology and corresponding equipment. I bought a few things for my new Pixel phone. I spent just under 30 dollars in the Swansboro store. A few days later I found myself in the Morehead City area Walmart and saw the same try-pod for 24 or 25 dollars. I thought somebody miss-marked the item, no it was correct. I checked other items and they also were more expensive. Morehead's prices in technology and electronics are a good 10 to 15% higher. Swansboro is also higher than Morehead in the clothing department 🏬. Just remember Walmart's are not generic across the board.

Usually good experience. Just once I got a power trip night manager that would was condescending to me about mispricing on the shelves compared to the ring up price. But she is no longer seen at the store. Everyone working there is extra helpful.

They’re horrific!!! The pharmacy is always causing some kind of issue with prescription refills. You ask questions they used to answer and now they simply could care less to help.

I came here to buy medicine and they denied me at the self check out. I had my id and everything. I don’t understand why they denied me but I wouldn’t bother coming to this store. It’s more of an inconvenience than anything nowadays. Even another bystander agreed the situation was ridiculous. You’re better going off to other stores nearby.

We have ordered 3 cakes in the past month from Walmart..Elizabeth at the Morehead City Walmart in NC in the bakery is the bomb...She makes and decorates the best cakes ever...

I am sitting in my car in the parking lot, trying to breathe. I'm a disabled veteran with a service dog. We don't get out much anymore because of the lackluster policies at most stores for screening dogs. I will say that despite Walmart Corporate tying the hands of their employees with limiting screening to one question, Heidi handled an out of control dog the best she could. She even stood between us as the customers refused to leave. Another lady up front asked if I was ok. To Walmart of Morehead, I hope you send this review directly to Corporate. They need to know that a real service dog owner will welcome the two screening questions allowed per ADA. You only allow one. And if a dog is out of control and has shown it is not a service dog, you have the right to kick them out immediately. I hope you see this. My $50,000 service dog is trained to ignore other dogs, so when she is attacked like she just was, she is at a disadvantage. For true service dog owners, that is a lawsuit on your company waiting to happen. I have lived here since last September and this is only the second time I've been to your store as I do not leave the house anymore for this very reason. I could tell you the many signs to look for immediately if a dog is not a service dog, but I think this review will fall on deaf ears. Please praise Heidi and the other Walmart employees who checked on me. I can't say I'll be back. We need more Heidis in this world!

We went in for an electric whisk. The employees are not engaging at this store. They don’t communicate and ask whether you need help. They do have a decent selection on product but only because they are a bigger Walmart.

Return quick. Did learn if you buy on line, it's best to take item directly to store for return. DoNot start process online then take item to store. Computers are not always inline with each other. Can cause a great deal of frustration and delay in return/refund.Express checkout easy. Cashier was awesome.

Bought a pair of boots from there and they lasted not even an hour before they started coming apart. So disappointing! Hopefully I can get my money back 🤦🏼‍♀️

This store is far better than the ones in the Atlanta ga. area. I don’t mind shopping here . The store is clean & stocked & well lit. You have to check yourself out though. The food is fresh here unlike in the Atlanta stores. You don’t feel unsafe here unlike the Atlanta stores.

I originally went in while waiting for an Eye appointment and what's gonna look for 1 or 2 items. I found I had more time than I originally thought so I browsed a little bit. I bought a new shirt I absolutely love it and do to recent weight loss I bought a couple new pairs of jeans. It wasn't crowded and the cashiers were really friendly. I've stopped going to Walmart some time ago because it was overcrowded and people seemed grumpy but I had a nice experience today. And I kind of miss the fact that they have Almost everything that you need.

It's a shame when they have so many registers and only two are open one of them is a cigarette Lane and everybody is lined up at self checkout and I see three over there in the deli just standing there talking and I see another guy that was working the produce area standing there talking to a customer they were stalking the shelves and their carts were all over the place making it hard to get in and out of Isles and down aisles

We dropped off our truck to the auto care center in Morehead City this morning and I just want to say that Aimee has been a great help to us each and every time we have service. As soon as I see her, I say "thank goodness you're here"! She is knowledgeable and super helpful! I appreciate the great customer service that she offers us each and every time we go there! Stopped in to get a pair of shoes for my daughter and a few groceries. The guy who greets you at the door was funny. We shared a laugh. Overall it's a Walmart. But at 6pm on a weekday you would imagine they would have some cashiers. Nope. One open register and the rest was self check. I despise self check. Get it together Walmart. Put people back to work.

I needed help with the new checkout system and apparently that was too much to ask the employee. She was very rude and made it known it was a huge bother for her to walk over and help a dumb customer who can't figure out the new card system. I thanked her profusely for taking time out from her job to answer my question. Hope she has a great work day filled with lots of inquiring customers looking for help.

It's a good store to shop. Generally they have what you're looking for ATVs great price. The only issue I've had, is sometimes there's just not enough people working the checkout, which means longer than usual wait time. But I would still recommend this store. Great prices/deals. Polite and helpgul.

Purchased a BH&G Garment Rack on 10/5/2023 at WM Morehead City. There were 4 boxes on the shelf, 2 of them had holes in the boxes, so picked a box with no holes and no apparent visible damage. Got home and proceeded to put the cart together. Assembled the cart and installed 3 of the wheels. The 4th wheel would not thread on, regardless of how many times I attempted. To determine if it was the bolt shank on the wheel or the female threads on the pipe, I found a spare bolt and nut in my barn with identical threads. I first attempted to put the nut on the wheel. No dice. I was able to screw the spare bolt into the pipe thread no problems. Took one of the other wheels off and was able to easily put the spare nut on the wheel shank and install the good wheel in the pipe threads. As Marmaduke said in the movie, “Wait for it, wait for it…”, I assume you know what happened. Having a background in logistics, CPI, customer service with a common sense approach, I was hoping that WM would allow me to swap wheels from one of the boxes that had damage. So the following morning I loaded up the assembled cart, the bad wheel, empty box, receipt, and headed to WM. Went to customer service with the wheel and receipt in hand and explained the situation to the customer service rep and asked if they would allow swapping the wheel from another box. The rep had to call a supervisor. The supervisor would not allow a wheel swap, I would have to bring the cart in and get our money back. So much for recommending a common sense solution. Needless to say I returned to my vehicle, unloaded the cart and empty box, and rolled it in on 3 wheels to customer service. Got money back and decided not to buy another BH&G garment cart from WM. Too much aggravation. We’ll look elsewhere to spend our money.

Where to start. Constantly empty shelves, Will have a product and then it vanishes, Vegetables always look old,and they are. The clothes they put out are for 1X and larger. Do they have something against sm to lg women?. Worse Walmart I have ever been in. I could go on and on . It's a blight on our town .

Just your run of the mill Walmart. It's nothing special except for some of the cashiers being very nice. One who is usually in the gardening area loves dogs. If we are buying anything dog related, we chat about our dogs. She also likes babies and toddlers. She is very amicable. I'm giving a 4 star rating because of her.

It was awesome. I picked up a bathing suit from the clearance rack for 24.98 and when the cashier rang it up I paid 1.07 that's what you call a deal.

We've been trying out Walmart's pick up service. If you're thinking about trying it, don't. Torn bags, every bag of groceries laid upon the side so things are rolling about. Don't get me started on the substitutions! These are just the highlights too. Walmart is quick to give you a refund online when something is broken. Like eggs or glass bottles for instance. It appears broken items are rather a daily occurrence. There's always a return trip anyway to get the things not found by pickers. Empty spaces on the shelves are common. Yes, I'm rather upset in case you haven't noticed. Sigh. Things do happen, I know. I also know the people at our Walmart work hard. They're always friendly and helpful. It's their corp. They have to follow Corporate guide lines. Which means everyone there is over worked and under paid.

Good variety. The app works most of the time for this location, but for some reason, the Havelock location seems to always have more items. However, you can NOT get those items delivered or shipped for free. But it is still a very, very convenient service that I value very much! Now if they could get the price gouging under control and stop all of these companies buying the same item and them reselling it for a wide range of prices every one would be better off and it would also help clean up the app and take a whole lot less time while browsing for an item. You simply don't know if you can trust some of these resellers when it comes to specific items, i.e., liquid iv, and literally thousands more items. There are so many resellers that I quite looking for it within the app for this item until i could verify i was buying it directly from the original maker. Please clean it up, Walmart.
