I shopped at this branch this morning. Normally staff seem glad to meet customers and come across that way. Not this morning. A young man at the checkout register was arrogant, sullen and appeared angry. I made the mistake of telling him that a smile would not crack his face. Not changing his look, I said if he kept that attitude perhaps the store would not want him. Not a good shopping experience.

I want to preface this review with this message: Walgreen's, you are ruining yourself with your corporate decisions. You buy up pharmacies, leave the local stores open long enough to get the community comfortable and build up trust, then you pull the rug out from under our feet and consolidate the store with another store miles and miles away. Once you have done that, you understaff and underpay your pharmacy staff or make it so miserable to work there, they won't apply or show up.Then you expect your staff to work like robots to serve customers and fill orders.Your corporate decisions are effecting the well being of many including employees, but you don't even care. You are part of the problem, not the solution. I'm boycotting you from now on and I hope others will follow. Now for my review of this store: If you are able, DO NOT go to this Walgreen's for pharmaceutical needs. I have had multiple issues with this pharmacy. My doctor called them to authorize a prescription this morning. I confirmed twice they did this, but the pharmacists claimed they did not receive a call. This is not the first time something like this has happened. They are so busy, they cannot remember who is calling and who is not. Think about that before you take your meds. Are you really sure they filled everything correctly if they can't remember a phone call? Makes you feel good, right? I'm using small community pharmacies from now on. Hasta la vista, Walgreen's, you royal pain in my rear.

This Walgreens’s is awesome. They all work so hard over the holidays and year round. It’s a busy store and the general public are not always so sweet.Kym in the photo department goes above and beyond. Everyone does and they should be applauded and appreciated! Merry Christmas to the whole team!

This pharmacy has TERRIBLE customer service!! We called and were on hold for over 45 minutes, and still no answer. So decided to drive up to the pharmacy only to be told to go wait in the parking lot!

I had an issue with my prescription being filled over a long Holiday weekend. Dr's office had evidence they sent pre-authorization form four times. I did not get the medication I needed filled for a week which caused additional health problems for me. They were no help at all. The only one who was helpful was the person who checked me out. He has always been very nice. I'll be trying my best to use local pharmacies for our needs.

Seriously, I’ve never had so many bad experiences from a pharmacy before. The (not all) people are so rude. What’s the point in being rude. Even if it’s because you don’t like your job why be rude to customers. So many times I get messages that my prescription is ready I wait in line 45 minutes or so almost every time and 9 times out of 10 it’s not. And they are rude about it. Don’t get me wrong mistakes are going to happen we are all human, you don’t have to be mean.They just don’t care. I was hung up on in the drive through line after waiting 45 mins with a sick one year old and a two year old. This happens so often or I would not take time to write this review. Taking my business else where.

I originally transferred to this walgreens when I found out Chuck was working here. Great guy, good worker, and one of the best pharmacists I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. However the crew they have there now are less than par. They failed to notify me that they were out of my prescription last month and only filled a partial, Filled the rest a day or so later. Well that partial really messed up my current refil. Was told I had to wait a couple of days after when I was supposed to have it filled and was granted less than what I was supposed to receive. After calling my Doctor and having them fix the issue I ran into another one. I called to have it filled this morning at 9:45am. Called again at 2:12pm to find out what was taking so long. I was then told it should be 30 more minutes. Fast forward to 5:09pm I ended up having to go in and find out why it was still not filled. Finally ended up getting them at 5:23pm. This has been an ongoing problem for months now. I have to go in store to have them fill any of my prescriptions in a timely manner. Sadly I will no longer be giving walgreens my business as it's practice has been in steady decline for some time now.

I'm not one to leave reviews, but the pharmacy tech here was extremely rude! I needed to replace my vaccine card and after contacting Walgreens HQ and the CDC, I was under the impression it would be an easy fix since all of my COVID vaccines were done at Walgreens. After waiting 30 minutes and providing all of my information, the tech flat out refused to help me or offer any solutions.I went to the location down the street and was in and out within 5 minutes with my new card in hand.

Very unfortunate experience at this Walgreens pharmacy. Granted, it was near closing but the male pharmacist with the beard was extremely rude. Had no interest in me even dropping off my prescription. Was the rudest experience I’ve ever experienced at a pharmacy. Luckily there is another Walgreens down the street AND a wonderful CVS near hwy 24.

No problem with the store management and no problem with the cashiers out in front. I do have a problem with the pharmacy and the pharmacists.. I swear to god they have to take an illiteracy test to get that job.. It's a disgrace To say the least I will definitely be looking forward to going somewhere else.

I have been a loyal customer of this pharmacy since CVS took over Medical Park.i have always been nice and respectful. Now an employee told me to come get my prescription, never called back to let me know there was a problem,...and now will not fill until tomorrow. 30 minute drive just for that, each way, tomorrow. I do not feel like an appreciated customer.

Thanks to Walgreens pharmacy staff for tremendous customer service and for caring about their customer’s health. After trying for several days to pickup a prescription for a necessary heart drug from CVS, with no updates and being given the runaround, Walgreens was able to have the prescription transferred and partially filled within 2 hours on the weekend. We are most grateful.

Ridiculous. That’s how I would sum up my visit. It was 4:30pm and I stopped after work to get my Covid booster. Other than staff, there were two other people in the entire store and I was the only one in the pharmacy area. I was told I needed to make an appointment for my shot. I was then told no, I couldn’t make the appointment right there at the counter in the store but would have to make it online or use the mobile app. I went to Wal-Mart and got my shot and went home and deleted my Walgreens app since I won’t be going back.

The only single reason I give this store one star is because out of every single store worker within this business there was only one cashier man who was attendant and overly helpful. My first time being in this store and I was rudely spoken to by a customer for not knowing where their facilities were but the customer herself wasn’t nearly as rude and uncaring as the rest or the staff working here. I was spoken to with disgust because I didn’t know how to use a photo booth computer. I was patient enough to wait and ask for assistants while staff ignored my very presence. I’ve never felt more unwelcomed in a store more than I was here. The staff have very smart mouths and no care for their customers satisfaction. I hate when people who hate their job take it out in their customers. It clearly shows me they don’t want to be there or want to help. I’m very surprised I was able to keep my composure and remain painfully polite. I’ve never witnessed such horrible service while shopping. I will never go to Walgreens again or recommend anyone else too. I feel for the only cashier working there that has to tolerate such lack of work ethic. I couldn’t stay inside longer than several minutes, I cannot image spending days here.

Completely and utterly incompetent. Spent 2 hours being transferred to the call center and being told that I was being transferred to the pharmacist. Call #7 was to the store and I finally got the pharmacist on the phone who said the prescription couldn't be transferred and that the technician had told him that she had told me that (she had not) and that I didn't believe her. I'll never get those two hours of my life back.

Picking up prescriptions at the drive through is worse than having surgery. 45 minute wait time and then the prescription the app said was ready is not ready. If this wasn’t the third time this happened I would not be writing the review.

Everyone in this Walgreens is so nice! The women Holly I talked to on the phone was super helpful and there was a woman cashier I had ran into that complimented my outfit! Such a welcoming staff and clean facility!! I recommend going here for your shopping and prescriptions.

Friendly staff gets them to two stars, but of the approximately 15 times I've been to the pharmacy, only ONCE had my prescription actually been ready, despite calling ahead. The wait is anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes in my experience. Maybe I was spoiled by medical park pharmacy before it was destroyed by CVS takeover, but I'll be switching to Harris Teeter immediately.

READ THIS TO SEE WHO YOU ARE GIVING YOUR MONEY TO!!!!!Big fish eat the little fish! Once again a greed ridden Corporation eats my mom and pop pharmacy and then has my info like I gave it to them. I moved down east from a small town in wnc because I like people still wave and you trip OVER vegetables on the porch when u walk out of your house BECAUSE YOUR NEIGHBOR LEAVES THEM FOR YOUR FAMILY. So Walgreens buys Express pharmacy downeast. The employees that work there only found out the day of the closing. My info sent to Walgreens without my permission. They bought it for territory grab. Now Walgreens has left the entire down east with out a pharmacy. Now grant it if they didn't buy I'm sure any other corporate giver of ever town looks the same in America pharmacy ,would have,but the same.... shame. THANKS WALGREEN FOR MAKING IT FOR ALL IN THE DOWNEAST COMMUNITY TO DRIVE TO BEUAFORT FOR PHARMACY AID. Cause it will not be you, we go to. Its strait to another smaller one ,Realo in Beaufort till it sells one day and the process continues. SHAME SHAME SHAME WALGREENS.

Very poor service from pharmacist. He refused to give me a COVID Booster. I had all my records and my doctor has told me to get the booster. Pharmacist told me that I didn’t look like I qualified. Never ask me to take survey to find out!!! He should be replaced immediately!!!

Woman that answered the phone was rude, snappy, and quick to yell. She told me she couldn’t transfer out my prescription even though they were out of stock. They transferred it out just a couple months ago when they were out. I’m at awe. I’m highly considering finding another pharmacy. The disrespect and reactions from her was uncalled for.

I have always been treated respectfully by the Walgreens team in Morehead City. They almost always have what I need there and are always willing to help me find things. I especially love the girls in the pharmacy. We always have a nice chat.😊

We were the only car in line and sat there 30 min while 4 people in the pharmacy ignored us. I understand if they were in the middle of something but they could have at least told us what was going on instead of completely ignoring us.
