My only hesitation in giving this store 5 stars is that even more people will want to go there. It’s not a typical American grocery store with everything you normally buy. Instead it has a range of fresh and shelf stable food, amazing cheeses, and fresh bread. It also has some unique seasonal item. Everything at great prices. But don’t come here if you are looking for a specific item or brand that you always get. There’s not really a pharmacy or a deli.

I love Lidl.i wish I had a store closer to my home but if I'm making the trip that direction, I always plan a stop. Fresh baked goods, you can pick your own produce. Great value for your money.

Mike at the MHC Lidl location is the G.O.A.T!! I actually get so happy to see him every week because I know he is always so friendly and efficient. I have witnessed his continued kindness to customers who were being extremely rude to him and even his kind words and encouragement to his coworkers while simultaneously making sure my experience stayed top-tier. Because of Mike, we will be returning customers as long as he is there.Lidl, do whatever you must to keep Mike in the family!

I'm a fan of Lidl's produce, plants, and the random items that I didn't even know that I want or need. Most recently I scored some absolutely gorgeous calla lillies and spring veggie and herb plants.

I went to this location to check this grocery store out I have not been here before and I have always past by this store. It is very clean and organized when I got here there was one employee stocking in one department of the store. The parking lot was clean.

I don't think I'll be returning back. Last week I just purchased parboiled rice. I decided to cook some and found insects infested in it. I understand its rice but to be already parboiled rice in separate bags is ridiculous and it's not the first time I've found insects in a grain from here.

Love shopping here because many items are available at great prices and it is the same quality as superstores have, if not better. Their nongrocery section always has a good selection of random items to look at. Recently, I believe Lidl has been out doing Aldi with quality and price.

We save lots of money shopping at Lidl. Highly recommend this store. Great variety of food products. Excellent paper products. They feature different types of foods on a regular basis. Lots of imported cheeses and charcuterie meats. Rotating selections of hard goods and seasonal items.

Spectacular bakery! I shop here every time I'm in Morehead NC. Very good fresh veggies, top notch and reasonably priced frozen seafood and a wide assortment of US and imported groceries.

Amazing! I am German and this store is from Germany. The quality and the prices will impress you. This is a must go for BREAD LOVERS! We need one where we live - or we might have to move here 😄. They even have German Glühwein, a traditional hot drink made with red wine and various spices, including citrus, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, and vanilla. Great to sit around the fireplace ...

Mike was our check out associate. He was very pleasant and friendly. Always ask if we have the Lidl app and we do save even more money 💵. We were also happy to purchase some non food items including some beautiful evergreen shrubs at an amazing price.

Great Selection & awesome prices. Love that you can find different kinds of foreign items that vary each time you go again - only downside is if you find something you like you should get a few of them because you may not be able to find them again. Delicious fresh baked goods & fresh produce with a great organic selection. Love Lidl!

Prices are always decent and the lines usually aren’t too long. The cashier was super friendly as well. I did see some mold on the strawberries though, so hopefully they notice soon and pull them.

I love Lidl so much, but the staff here is just incredible. So friendly and efficient. This place is clean and stocked to the tip top. The produce and meat quality blow my mind for the prices every time I come.

I Don't know of any other regional, national or international retailers that advertise low prices but don't offer it's customers rain checks when they stock low quantities. This begins as a loss leader for them, but becomes a bait to drive traffic to their stores. So it's not really a loss leader because once you are in the store you will probably purchase something else for them to profit on.

Lidl is great! I love their selection, quality, and the prices are amazing! The employees are always nice and helpful. Their store brands are awesome and just as good as the big brands at a fraction of the cost. For example: I found that they carried a store brand version of my favorite but hard-to-find chocolates. Not only are they just as good (if not better!) than the big brand name version, they're also a third of the price! For the same amount of chocolate, too, so no skimping or cutting corners.Their bakery has the best croissants I've ever eaten and everything I've tried so far is great. They bake small batches as needed to make sure it's all fresh and to reduce waste.I don't have a single complaint with Lidl! Some people might complain about bagging their own stuff, or bringing their own bag (or paying for one), but they're just complaining out of laziness and because they like to think they're above doing things for themselves.

Good selection of fresh produce and dairy products, usually at prices lower than larger grocery stores. Lidl brand products are pretty much identical to big name brands. Very similar to Aldi, but Lidl's fresh bakery products (not available at any Aldi I've ever been to) are excellent - pretzel rolls, fresh breads and pastries...mmmm.... 👍
