The Food Lion on Emerald Isle has reasonable prices, MVP rewards, they are well stocked, and the employees are always friendly and seem very happy. I travel across the bridge because the local food store in Cape Carteret's prices are practically double!

This Food Lion are very well stocked. The fruits and vegetables are fresh there is staff always in this department making sure the presentation of these are great for the customers. Produce Department looks great! I get my organic breakfast smoothie about 3-4 days out of the week at this location. The Meat Department if you catch him putting out fresh meat throughout the day you might catch some deals. Not all of the time but if you try your luck you might hit the jackpot. Dairy Dept is very well clean and stocked. The bakery I am not a fan of. Some things they bake do not taste fresh to me and I eat all types of foods . Their cakes are delicious. They are better than Walmart. The employees here are very nice. They will greet you before you put your items on the checkout counter. Very genuine and kind.

Quick place to stop for groceries. This is the Flagship Food Lion in the area. As such they have the best assortment and selection in the area. I recommend this store if you are coming to the beach. Same parking lot as ABC store and UPS Shipping Center.

Excellent service! My husband had knee surgery recently and can't help me with groceries. Our cashier was so friendly and personable. The store wasn't very busy at the time, so she offered to help load my groceries in the car. I wish I knew her name so I could give her a personal shout-out. Thanks Food Lion for having staff like her.

I had been a loyal customer for over 15 years. But no more. There has been so many changes in the past several month. The once dedicated cashiers have been replaced with self service computers. There is only one full service and one express line. There is no such thing as customer service, and its become more about profit. They expect more from the staff that is left and are over worked. A store that once was friendly and where I knew most of their names are now filled with new staff. It has become a sad and cold place to shop. All because of GREED. Suggest changing management!

Amazing customer service! Today my little one fell asleep in my arms while I was shopping. The cashier helped me unload my cart onto the belt and someone help me bring my groceries to my car.

i love this store. the staff is beyond friendly and helpful. shopping with a toddler can sometimes be challenging, but their staff are excellent with children. we get so many smiles and offers of help from staff to take my groceries out when we have a lot. they have a good variety of products for a great price and a customer loyalty type program. i shop this store at least once a week and it is always a pleasant experience which isn't always the case elsewhere. this store is a gem.

I love going here. I would rather go here anytime over Walmart. I only go to Walmat if I have to and it's only a mile from me. Foodlion is my main store even tho I drive 8 miles there and back. Staff is so friendly and will help you find anything they have.

It was ok just a regular grocery store nothing to rave about. Their own food lion brand is questionable so I wiukd stay away from it. Just some weird stuff in their food. And alot of it... No crazy price savings or anything just a run of the mikl grocery outlet...

I shop here frequently. One day I dropped a bank envelope with cash in it. A "regular customer " found it and the manager she knew well wasn't there so she took the env home until she could talk to the manager directly.I had called the store right away and even returned to see if I could locate it. I didnt leave my name or #, I just assumed it was gone. The next day the manager and assistant manager called ALL the phones #'s that called them the day before until they located me! I'm saying wow what effort went into locating me and returning that $.It was already my favorite Food Lion!

I don't go to this Food Lion very often because I have one right down the road in Newport. At first glance I thought it might be closed but luckily for me it is still open. Older store but clean and well stocked. Friendly staff with guys that take groceries to car for the elderly. Nice to see. Will shop there more frequently.

Great customer experience. Everyone is always so courteous and helpful. Great meat selections and love the variety of fresh produce offered here with wonderful sale prices. Clean with plenty of room down the aisles.

Good prices but has 4 places to get coke products. When looking for specials you don't know where to go. Of course it was on the completely opposite corner of the store. Passed 3 other areas where coke products were and were priced at regular prices. Might deter shoppers from getting specials if you have to hunt them down. Once we found a cashier she was soooooo nice and accommodating.

I shop here regularly. I like the store, the products and mostly the staff. They are wonderful. It was like this pre covid but now I'm isolated in place except the quiet times in Food Lion. In the store all the few customers are masked and the staff are always. I can chat briefly with those staff I know and I have retained my connection with my fellowsYes. I like this store.

Not the newest location, but that is one thing I like. It has that home town feel about it. Prices are nice, especially the meat prices. Clean location also, with an okay app for online shopping that offers discounts.

Prices fair, selection ok. Check out person was very friendly and chatty with person in front of us talking about family. Got to be our turn and she was mumbling about us having odd stuff to bag and throwing our bags across counter into the cart since she did not have a bagger. I moved cart back so I could take groceries from her and out in cart as I had fresh fruits and vegetables. She was defensive that I was trying to help. Sorry she was having such a bad day.

One of the very few places I would give 5 stars, this store has a good selection of produce and groceries at low prices, and one of the best stores I've seen for fresh produce. It's easy to get in and to find help if needed, and the staff is pleasant and attentive.
