I come down every year and always stop by to check them out. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Everything from riding bikes to fishing and hunting. They got just about anything you need. Anytime you're in the area, come and check them out. I recommend this place.

Stopped in shopping for a good knife to use for harvesting a Cow tomorrow and found exactly what i needed to get it done. Roland and another gentleman helped out tremendously with properly selecting the right tool and welcomed good conversation. Was a true blessing and pleasure to have EJW right down the road to help me out. Thank you and we’ll be back. God bless you all in the future.

I stopped by to check out the new EJW. This store is awesome! Large tackle selection, bicycle, hunting equipment and much much more. I stopped by for just a few minutes … didn’t have much time. I will definitely be back to spend more time at EJW!!!🤙🏽😃

Top notch shop, and very knowledgeable staff. I always stop in when I travel south, talk to the guys to get the latest fishing report and tips, pick up a recommendation of lures. Always have what I'm looking for.This trip talked to Noah, of Noah's Lucky Lures. He got me set on the right path with some spring fishing tips.Updated:6-24-23 - second trip of the year. Once again I got hooked up with Noah, he got me all set up with the right stuff. Had a great week of fishing. Caught lots of Reds and flounder. No trout. I religiously used a Strike King Red Fish magic. I used dark and Stormy kicktail minnows on the jig head (as per Noah's advice) to mimic the mullets he said the fish should be feeding on since the shrimp weren't quite in where I was fishing (brackish water) Caught several 20"+ flounder and reds ave. in the 20-24" range. The 24" was a tagged (yellow) fish. Was a great trip and it nice that EJW is always available. Unfortunately there were a few items that I was looking for to take north home with me for Pike fishing that they did not have.

Bad customer service.Each time I've gone to EJW, they have several staff socializing amongst themselves and apparently not interested in helping customers. When I've asked for helping finding something, they told me to go look on the other end of the store. Typically, good customer service involves walking with the customer to help him/her find what they're looking for. But they didn't do that and so I didn't buy what I was looking for.When I had my reel repaired at EJW, the fella working there gave me a hard time for buying Penn reels instead of Shimano and was disappointed when I told him I didn't want any new fishing line on the reel. Sorry, pal, I get to choose which brand of reel and whether or not I want to put new fishing line on it at home or have you do it at the store.I won't be going back to EJW any time soon.

I took my Cannondale in the other day they have it checked out breaks gears etc had it back same day good job i’d highly recommend him for all your sporting & bicycle needs

New to the area so I stopped in to get some information (and buy some tackle of course). Got the "you're not from here treatment" by one of the employees who I was clearly bothering. Despite buying quite a bit of tackle to get me started, he kept asking, "is that all you need?" I don't know pal, you tell me. Left feeling like a second class citizen.

Was here on vacation and purchased a pistol. They beat every other stores price that I had been to. The guy who helped me was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely stop in again the next time I'm in town.

I went to visit because I heard about EJW for years and never had before. It is basically a small-scale version of Neuse Sport shop. They seem to have a decent selection of hunting and fishing gear there. The store looks fancy inside. The employee helped me peruse for a minute but did not seem very enthusiastic about doing it with me. Their firearms selection is run-of-the-mill hunting shotguns, polymer stock bolt-actions and the usual selection of more affordable tiers of handguns, nothing exotic for collectors, but maybe something there for duck hunters. Every firearm behind their counter can be found at pretty much any local firearms dealer.

If you haven’t utilized the bike shop, now is the time. Friendly service and prices that convince you to have them perform the work. I went in to buy a part and do the work myself, but their rates make that nonsense. Bring your bike here if you are having trouble!

EJW has a little bit of everything. It’s got a nice layout and it’s clean and organized. The staff is friendly.They’ve also got a pretty decent assortment of sizes to find what your looking for - Men’s, Women’s, & Children’s apparel. More in the men’s section. Looking forward to getting a nice bicycle from EJW… one of these day’s when ours kick the bucket and get rusted up! 😂😬😉

I had the pleasure of going in here for the 1st time yesterday. They have a wide variety of items available from hunting to fishing. I thought some items were a little high, but after doing research on them after I left. The prices were spot on with internet and other local stores. I will be definitely coming back again. Great customer friendly people and always willing to answer any questions.

Greeted with a friendly welcoming smile as soon as I entered. I don't shop the store regularly so when asked if I needed help, I showed the young man a picture of the product I was in search of. He gave very good direction and though he was busy with a few customers insisted he'd be in to check in me shortly. After a few texts back and forth with the "boss" I had the shoes needed before he could check on me.

This store is always a great place to stop. They have good deals on everything you could need outdoors related. They have excellent customer service that is always happy and willing to assist you with whatever you need. They are knowledgeable in various outdoor activities and sports and know when the seasons are and what licenses are needed for hunting and fishing. Overall great store.
