The pharmacy staff are always friendly and extremely helpful. They go out of their way to serve you and give you the lowest cost’s possible.

I just spent 1 hour and 5 minutes on hold at the Centerville Virginia CVS trying to cancel a prescription. This CVS in Moorhead is my hometown pharmacy. I called and was transferred and Jimmy picked up immediately. He has been the most helpful pharmacist I have ever had. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the level of service that you provide in a courteous patient manner. Thank you so much for being here and for all the support you provide to our community. I cannot imagine having to live in the Virginia area, so densely populated with so many people nobody answers the phone nobody provides any courtesy or customer service. I'm so glad I don't live there.

I had an appointment to receive a vaccine and went to the pharmacy at the appointed time. There were two people staffing the pharmacy and despite this and the fact that there was noone in the store at all, let alone anyone waiting at the pharmacy, I was told that they were too busy and I would have to reschedule. They had not called or emailed, so they had completely wasted my time and were not apologetic at all. Ultimately the pharmacist told me I could wait around till 845pm (my appointment was at 9pm) and they might be able to do get around to it. I would not go back to this pharmacy again.

I and my girlfriend(who has been with cvs over 25 years) are moving pharmacies to Harris Teeter. Number 1- the automated phone system is the worst out of all the pharmacies around. Number 2- the new pharmacist is absolutely terrible. He's rude, doesn't help solve issues. The old pharmacist was the best. Sorry to see them go. And the price of medications are ridiculous..higher then any other pharmacy. No competitive pricing. In the end the reason why were leaving is because of the new pharmacist. Side note... the pharmacy staff really are the best. Always friendly and helpful, just a horrible new pharmacist.

Pharmacy is A #1. Assistance is always at hand with an easy self check out.Coupon machine is visible as you walk into the guts of store. 45 minutes ride is worth trip for great customer service..on 99% visits. Easy pass card gives me $10 every month, but savings are great.-Andrea

The pharmacist in charge certainly is power tripping. And I'm not being facetious or other exaggerated... He acts like he's doing you a favor by filling your prescription. He clearly does not care about your time and that it is valuable... Very arrogant in the way he treated myself as well as my significant other. I'll be changing my pharmacy to Walgreens. This seems to be the case across the board the store in Chapel Hill I've had exactly the same experience there as well. Not the CVS that used to be

The older white haired pharmacist is rude, lacks any semblance of customer service and needs to find a new profession. Was promised my prescription to be ready by 10 am due to travel. His attitude when I explained that was rude, non caring and unacceptable. I have tolerated the long lines, constant wait on prescriptions and lack luster service for the last time and will be finding a new pharmacy.UPDATEThe medication was ready 10 minutes after promised but I stand by my opinion of the pharmacist and his staff. Bad day, lack of help or whatever the reason....... the service at this location is still poor and is notated in many reviews.

It seems like a couple of folks had very negative experiences with this CVS, but I have been using this location for as long as I’ve lived here and I have only ever had positive experiences. I don’t doubt that people have had those negative experiences and that their frustrations are valid. I just wanted to take a moment to share my equally valid positive experiences. The staff is friendly and helpful- always happy to help me find something, call a sister store to find an item out of stock, or help me strategize with my coupons (side note: The Extra Care Pass- DO IT!). The pharmacy staff has always been a delight. Even when they’re swamped with orders and the phone is ringing off the hook, they’ll take the time to talk to me, ask me how I’m doing, and crack a joke or two. I actually look forward to refilling my medications because they’re fun! This is the only pharmacy I’ve ever gone to that feels like mom & pop shop that has been there forever and is part of and interested in the community. And it’s the employees who make it feel that way even though it’s a chain store. They’ve made a loyal customer out of me for as long as I continue to live here. So thanks guys! You rock!

I showed up with my daughter and got into the Covid 19 check in window where No pharmacist for 5 minutes even acknowledged We were there to try to get a shot for her protection. A male pharmacist who was on his computer and talking to me sarcastically. Asking me if we made an online reservation for her shot. I said I called the number and it said walk ins were available. And at the time that is all I had time to do. Now this has been 10 minutes later that he is being sarcastic acting like we did not matter typing on his computer acting like the World is going to end if he was to stop what he was doing for a minute….and that this was not an important matter for me and my daughter! As time went by, now paperwork could have been done and the shot could have already been finished. But instead he said I have two appointments coming in 10 minutes and I’m sorry but you’ll have to come back in an hour. And I did not have a way to be back in an hour. The point is he was very rude disrespectful acted like he was too busy to pay us any attention and by the time he was making ALL THE excuses, DOING WORK ON COMPUTER, the shot could have been administered! I do not recommend this CVS!!!! This is the third time I’ve been treated ugly!!!!!!and I don’t appreciate how we were traded

This is the worst pharmacy EVER! Prescription for a sick baby was called in and I waited 1.5 hours before I go and pick up the antibiotic. I wait in the drive thru for 40 minutes with a sick baby just to be told that she will see if she can “expedite” it and it would be another 20-25 mins! So here I am waiting an hour to pick up a simple antibiotic. The professionalism and customer service definitely needs improvement! I miss Medical Park!

4th time I've gone to pick up a prescription and it's not been ready. This time I even went an hour after the promised time and it STILL wasn't ready. This time they were "short-handed and very busy." Although no one else was waiting, they refused to immediately process the 9 tablets I needed and said I could come back in 20 minutes. A couple months ago, I wanted to go through the drive-thru for a prescription because I was ill. There were 12 cars waiting and so I dragged myself inside only to find another line of people waiting. Inside pick-up took 35 minutes because they were busy handling COVID testing at the drive thru. I complained about the fact that the testing was impacting the service to their regular customers and the Pharmacist shrugged and said he was just following CVS management's direction. The people working here have no clue or interest in Customer Service. I left and will never return. I will have the prescription that I didn't wait for this time (and all those in the future) filled somewhere else - ANYWHERE ELSE!

Customer service or concern for a customer to get their medication is not a priority. Prescriptions were faxed on Thursday, we were told it would be ready the following day, two days later it was not ready and after waiting a lengthy time we learned they did not even have the drug. They did not call to let us know or try to order the drug. This was a heart medication that was imperative and also happened on the weekend. After my husband would not leave the drive thru without the drug or explanation the clerk called the police. We are now working with Walgreens to get the prescriptions transferred and filled. It is clear why their ratings are so low.

Since CVS’s latest acquisition, Medical Park Pharmacy, pharmaceutical services have taken a nosedive. We have used this pharmacy for the past 14 years and have never seen such poor quality service as a result of the impossible demands placed upon pharmacy staff as a result of the corporate greed in aggressively acquiring other pharmacies while failing to adjust expanded staffing needs accordingly. Prescriptions called in by a physician’s office that would be filled within an hour now end up “in process”, taking days to be filled, unless you call and spend upwards of 15-20 minutes on hold in order to get a prescription out of the holding pattern and actually filled. While waiting in line at the pharmacy, you can hear the recording telling pharmacy staff there are up to eight calls holding. The drive-up lane is nearly always packed, and it easily takes 20 minutes or more waiting in line inside. We’ve been told that additional staff has been hired and trained, but there is never more than one pharmacist on duty, which creates an unbelievable bottleneck in getting prescriptions filled. This state of affairs has left us seriously considering moving prescriptions to another pharmacy with better response times.Jan. 9, 2020: Since making this initial post, service quality has dramatically improved, although service still lacks its former quality. ELizabeth and her staff are all dedicated, caring professionals, and we hope corporate continues to improve working conditions.

Knowing a hurricane could be coming, I call my doctor on Friday for refills. Saturday I call CVS and am told the prescriptions weren’t received. Called my doctor today to confirm prescriptions were sent to CVS. At 1 pm call CVS and was told prescriptions are ready for pick up, I request a refill on one other prescription on file. At 3 pm I go to CVS...I’m the only customer there. Two prescriptions are ready, one is “still being worked on”. I’m told they have no idea when that one will be ready because they are so backed up. Ummm...they had 2 hours to get one prescription filled, I am the ONLY customer there. There are two people at the cash registers and 3 in the pharmacy area. If hurricane Dorian hits us like Florence did, closing everything down for days, I will go without one of my long term medications because CVS is the most incompetent pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. Before CVS took over Medical Park Pharmacy, I could have called for a prescription refill from the Food Lion parking lot, immediately drove across the street, and my prescription would have been ready and waiting...

I’m not sure why all the negative reviews. I find the service to be as quick as any other pharmacy. More importantly, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. While my primary home is in the Raleigh area, this is the pharmacy my family will use when we are at our beach home!

Worst pharmacy experience ever. I requested my prescription refill because I was going out of town and was told that it would be ready at 11:15 and when I go back there the pharmacy tech said it wouldn’t be ready until 2:00pm. Horrible customer service

This is about the pharmacy in general. If your doctor sent a prescription be prepared to wait 30 minutes no matter how long you wait before going to the pharmacy. I guess this is typical for a CVS considering the same people checking you out and entering information and checking in walk ins are the same people filing your scripts.Time to give Walgreens a shot.

They NEVER have prescriptions ready on time. This is the 3rd time in past few months when did a refill and 3 days later when came to pick it up. They said - it's not ready yet. What - you have had 3 days!!! They won't let you re-order til right at 30 days and then you run out because they can't fill in less than 4 days. Awful service!!! I would give them a zero if it was an option

This CVS offered no signage to indicate where to go for COVID testing at this site. Upon confirming the correct drive-thru location, we arrived at our appointment time at 11:40am. With only 5 cars in front of us and only one line open at the drive-thru, it took 1 hour until we were seen to complete the COVID test. Though the pharmacist at the window was friendly and thorough, it appears the process could be streamlined to be more efficient, or at the very least, book less appointments to make it more manageable for this location.

Went to the pharmacy, had no issues, and everyone was very polite. I usually use Harris teeter, but they are so backed up and I needed my medication earlier. Might switch the rest of my medications.

This is the very slowest drive thru in the state of NC. Bar none!!! I personally wish Harris Teeter honored my insurance, maybe next year, I will change to one that does.. They are prompt and courteous lat HT...

Pharmacy and filling pharmacist were very rude and disrespectful with regards to refilling a script when my physician was unavailable to authorize the script refill as his office was closed for the week. I did not know my physician's office would be closed. I have put in an official complaint with corporate regarding this experience and the two pharmacy employees involved. No one should be talked down too and talked over like a 2 year old child.

The Cvs at nine foot road in Newport charged me 52 dollars for the exact same prescription that I got at cvs on Penny lane in Morehead city for 38 dollars it’s the same chain so I called corporate office to ask why and was told someone would call me back they never did. I liked it better when it was medical park pharmacy on penny lane the staff there is the best friendly and helpful staff. Things are very different since Cvs took over at the one on nine foot road people complain about long waits med not available etc. one Thing about Walmart their prices are the same for prescription no matter which location

You can spend your entire lunch hour in line just to be told your prescription isn't ready after getting a text sending you there saying it's ready. They feed off of rage, frustration, and ineptitude.

This is the slowest drove thru pharmacy in the area. I just went through the drive thru and I was the 4th car in line and it took me 45 minutes. That is the average every time I go. It is ridiculous.

Prices are too high , associates could use help , poor lady cleans , stocks, and waits on customers as well as help customers find items they want or need , I have never seen this lady just stand around or heard her complain..she deserves a raise.
