I've been going to Salty's for about 18 years, and you can't find a better LFS. The people are knowledgeable and friendly, and the quality of the products is excellent. They'll test your water and offer advice, and they've never steered me wrong. Once several years ago, I tried a store closer to home and regretted it. Salty's is worth the 40-minute drive for me.

One of the best aquamarine stores I have ever been in. Great customer service and has a very knowledgeable staff. Prices are also great! They have a great selection of tanks, food etc. They also have professional tank cleaning , setup and maintenance.

Purchased a fish Wednesday 5/25, not even a week later it is dead. We had the tank ready to go, clean and tested before bringing a fish home. I messaged them letting them know about it, 3 days later, and brushed it off saying betta are not really active. I grew up with them, I know that was not true. The fish just stayed at the bottom on the tank, in the corner, behind the structure and plants. I watched its eyes get cloudier and cloudier, and it would not eat. I sent pictures, all they could say was that they would “take it in” probably so they could sell it again to someone else. Petsmart even has 14 days on their fish, in case they’re sick upon purchasing I presume. I came here thinking their fish would be healthier, no fish should die within 7 days unless they were sick when purchased. I feel like I wasted $20, the fish was already in a bag for me to get before I even got to look at it in the tank, so for all I know they knew they fish was on its way out. I message on Facebook and they sent pictures and I said that was the one I like the looks of best (out of 2 others) so they must have assumed that was what I was taking home. I understand fish die. I’m not writing this after having a fish for 1 year, but less than 7 days? That’s ridiculous. I let them know within 2 days that something wasn’t right, and now I get to explain what happened to my 4 year old, and how some businesses don’t like to stand by their products.

Great aquarium store. Mostly saltwater, as made evident by their name, but a decent selection of freshwater livestock, plants, and equipment as well. Knowledgeable staff.

Incredibly clean tanks with knowledgeable staff and good selection. It is a small store but they clearly hold themselves to a very high standard and all animals looked perfectly healthy when I went there to check it out. I have never seen store aquariums that looked so clean. Prices are reasonable and the display tanks are beautiful.

I love this place the selection is priceless and the staff and owner is exceptionally diversed in answering any questions and aquireing anything one could ever want. Seen the best selection in the area and the largest hermit crab.

Good people who take the time to help each individual customer. After a bad experience at one of the big box stores wherein my 11 year old daughter ended up in tears on her birthday- these guys took the time to help us get set up right and made her feel special while helping us with the best possible beginner set up. We've been back a few times now to have questions answered or pick up more plants/fish and we always receive the same great service.

Excellent customer service! Over the phone, I received pleasant and helpful service that encouraged me to visit the store in person. The animals and tanks look pristine, and all the staff members I encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning for my aquarium needs and maybe just to visit!

Had both the owner, and a store manager, jerk me around for a few weeks, including my making a trip to their shop from over 30 minutes away (at the Manager's repeated suggestion), to hire them for tank moving services and to buy and stock at least one new tank I was upgrading to. Great reviews online led me here, and my experience was awful. Wasted lots of time, the manager tried to get me to overpay for a tank set-up that was smaller than what said I was looking for, and almost wasn't able to move my fish when moved locally. Absolutely would NOT recommend under any circumstances.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Very helpful for our freshwater tank start-up and we purchased a few super healthy plants. All of the animals were incredibly responsive and friendly, tanks were clean, and the space was very well maintained and stocked. Even though it is a bit of a drive for us, we'll be returning for fish once we cycle our tank. Thanks y'all!

Salty's is our go-to fish store! The livestock is always hearty and thriving. We've never met an employee that wasn't friendly. While we like to think we know what we're doing, it's always nice to get other's aquatic advice, and the employees are happy to discuss all options.

These guys are the only game in town so they're naturally always busy. The staff is helpful and friendly. Tanks always look good and clean. Home for both fresh and salt water. Carries a wide variety of products and will do home deliveries as well as maintenance.

The workers are all so helpful and knowledgeable about everything, whether it be saltwater, freshwater, illnesses, feeding, and everything in between. They take the time to make sure you understand everything, and never make you feel bad for asking a question. One of the workers, Paige, always goes above and beyond and makes the experience so amazing. Another worker, Ryan, is very knowledgeable about plants and helped me get over my fear of them, and now I have multiple planted tanks and love them! The store is very welcoming and has a large selection. I’ve bought multiple freshwater fish from here, and I’ve loved all of them! I will definitely be coming back!

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel like this should be said. The workers here are ALWAYS so helpful, personable and very knowledgeable. Every time I come here I always leave smiling and happy. The employees go above and beyond recognition. Today was pouring down rain so Ryan escorted me outside with an umbrella wayyyy out of his job description. Very pleased with the fish and crew this place has.
