I went there yesterday to rent a rug doctor with the upholstery tool because I’m 9 months pregnant and want my home to be spotless for when the baby arrives. The employees helping at the time seemed overwhelmed and lost when we got to them with the request, which I totally understand, it was Sunday and maybe they we’re having a crazy day.I got home and found out that the upholstery tool wasn’t working at all, so I couldn’t use it. Then the carpet cleaner was so dirty that the brush roll wasn’t even tuning, so I had to spend a whole hour cleaning someone else’s hair/dirt to be able to use something I was paying for :( the tank had black water that smelled like sewage, it made me throw up but I had to wash it to be able to use it. I made sure that once I was able to use it, I cleaned everything before returning so the next person wouldn’t have to go through what I did. My husband explained the situation upon returning, showing pictures and letting them know that the upholstery tool was not working therefore it couldn’t be used (hoping for a refund on the extra fee for the tool). They acted completely dismissive to the complaint and didn’t do anything about it. We shouldn’t have paid for something that wasn’t working, but at least an apology would’ve been appreciated. turnover rate is crazy high :(the chocolate chip cookies CAN be good if theyre not overbaked (most of the time they are, unfortunately)the creme/raspeberry filled donuts however are actually really good and likely the staple of my experience here (from the display by the bakery, not the packaged ones)anyways final opinion: donuts, parfaits, & HT raspberry lemonade is good more often than not. THE SUBS ARE AMAZING! everything else, however, is questionable (do not step foot in the bathrooms).SHOUTOUT TO DEBRA AND HANNAH (& the dearly departed Bradley H.) FOR BEING QUITE POSSIBLY THE REALEST FRONT END EMPLOYEES THERE!!!!!!!!!honorable shoutout to ME, for working through an ENTIRE management overhaul/change & at least 20 cashiers/clerks.final shoutout to ava lamy, for being cool as well.solid former 3 star, now 1 star reviewsigned,#1 HT Cashier(edit: the lame a** management told me I'm no longer allowed to wear a hat that I've been wearing way longer than they've been employed at this store so screw them for that)

Me and my husband went to the Harris teeter on 10/25/23 at about 10:42pm we were followed from time we walk in the store by a wannabe security guard that worked at Harris older white bald Head guy I believe he was doing it because we were black he probably would have shot us for just trying to buy late night snacks please if you are black be careful the ones he should be looking at he's not they harassing innocent people it wouldnt happen if we were white because he would have gotten cussed out you will never get my business and you will lose more business over this... idiot

Excellent sushi selection for it being a super market. We were very happy with our heart platter- it was delicious and tasted fresh. There was a lady behind the counter making sushi fresh as well.

This store has a few very friendly staff members in each department who make the experience of shopping more pleasant. There is also a good variety food and other products -- produce, deli counter, bakery items, etc. Parking seemed plentiful. We will go here again.

Great customer service at this location. I had an employee in the deli area help me out early in the morning. I believe her name was Edie (sp?). She really went out of her way to help me out. Very much appreciated.

I usually love this store. The produce, meats, everything. The service is great especially in the deli. I live in Denver and pass at least 4 stores to come there. I spend about 2-300 per week. My pharmacy is there. I’ve left two weeks in a row because of the condition of the shopping carts!!!! I know that sounds ridiculous but it makes the shopping trip horrible! I’ve told the management before but don’t know who else to contact! The wheels are legit broken in at least 75% of the carts.

How about change your hours? It says open until 11. Wasting everyone’s time having the wrong hours on here. Consistently out of everything here too. Can’t pick up Western Union money over $500 apparently either. Produce selection isn’t great. Good luck finding salad bags that aren’t pink. Managers don’t seem to care when you bring issues to their attention either. Not to mention their prices are way too high. This isn’t Whole Foods it’s Kroger brands. Don’t like supporting Kroger for what they do to farmers. Pretty ridiculous. Won’t be shopping here anymore even though it’s convenient. Seriously CHANGE YOUR hours to correct hours.

Too crazy expensive!!! and what is wrong with employees today. On their phone with there headphones in and not paying attention when you’re shopping. They’ve forgotten what customer service is and that the customers have the right of way moving about the store. Just frustrating and awful. Management needs to teach these kids how to act in an appropriate manner. Walmart pricing in MUCH better!

For the love of God, will you please train your deli staff to package cheese slices the way Publix does? Why is this so difficult? Pretty much common sense that when you don’t put a layer of plastic down between the slices as you go you end up with a mound of slices that fuse together into a mushy mess making it impossible to pull apart later.

This is a well organized and stocked food market! You can self checkout or have a cashier assist you. The market has a very nice selection of beer and wine. Parking is available and it is handicap accessible.

Super expensive. They charged me $9 for a softball sized watermelon. Front end person put a code in since I didn't have a card. So if you don't have a card, don't go. Actually, prices still high with card. No cashier so had to self check out. Annoying. Note to self - don't go there

Biggest complaint, items stocked in the wrong locations. Making me think you were out of certain items. Spoke with manager, nothing changed. I'm new to the area, visited daily for 6 months, I've now found a better grocery store to spend my money because also your produce mainly your fruit is often expired beyond edible. I still stop in here and there when it's more convenient but, you NEED to address the stocking issue. I even pointed out more then a few items out of place. That's not a hard job. On the other hand the staff is VERY nice. 5 stars to the checkers. MENS Restroom was HORENDOUS. Feces on the changing table. Urine all over the place. Paper towels every place

Harris Teeter at Byers Creek is my go to supermarket. If you play the VIC specials and plan ahead a bit, the prices are competitive. The staff is always friendly. Love the produce department and the fresh rolls.Remains consistent 😎

I ordered from Deli in the Byers Creek location! Everything was fresh and so good!! Cheese tray, sandwiches, and the fabulous cookie tray!!You did a great job!! Best coconut cookie I’ve ever eaten!! Everyone was so happy!!

Close in location. Prices are much better than Publix. I can save twice as much as HT and get my gas at a lower prices based on points I get from my groceries and prescriptions. The workers are happy to help and they will order more of what you want in any department just for you.

We do Thanksgiving every year at our oldest son's house in Mooresville NC and this is where we get the food. It's very well kept, clean, and well stocked, friendley, and convenient.

Walked in at 10:45 p.m., I immediately heard the closing time is in 15 minutes announcement. Heard another one at 10 minutes till, then heard another one again at 5 minutes till. "Thank you for shopping at your local Harris Teeter we will be closing in 5 minutes" and will be open again tomorrow morning at whatever time. By this time I was feeling the pressure to get out, it was almost as if they were commanding it is time to leave or we will forcibly remove you from the building...lol (or not). Finally, as I approached the check out counter, by this time only self serve was available. I guess if you wanted a cashier to check you out you should have gotten in when you were suppose too....lol. Then if that wasn't ushering me out enough, the Gestapo watching the self service check out, walked up behind me and said can I help you and began looking up my item for me as if I wasn't moving fast enough. In the past I probably would not even have noticed a difference and it did happen before, but now there's a Publix right down the road which I have been going to since it opened a year ago and have experiences to compare. The difference is night and day. Much, much more hospitable customer service attitude from all their employees at Publix. I do prefer the Harris Teeter Veteran's parking and I liked that they were open until 11:00, but if you don't want to be there you shouldn't and that is at any hour.

I love this supermarket. Before moving to NC I hadn't heard of it, but it's a high quality grocery store. All the basics, of course, but it has such a good selection of wine, beer, produce, ethnic food, etc. I try to come here when I do a full month shopping. It's not the closest supermarket to me, but I make the trip every so often because it's so much better than what's nearest to me.Very impressed with what's a new brand to me.

Good store, friendly staff. Manager Tim is a great guy. I like to shop the VIC and eVIC specials here and at Morrison Plantation, but that's been tough since the pandemic. Seems like the sale items are in short supply.

Clean store...has a great selection, especially beer and wine but the produce department leaves much to be desired. I thought we are supposed to be eating healthier... ...you would think the fruits and veggies would be bountiful but they are scarce at best. Check the bread.. sometimes fresh baked means day old 😕

Check your dates!!! My wife and I frequent this HT for groceries; it has a great selection. However, every single time we’ve gone (not an exaggeration) we find expired food somewhere in the store. We’ve brought home expired food without noticing even though we always try to check. My pregnant wife catches herself drinking well expired beverages or biting into spoiled food.. Do your jobs.. laziness! No problem with this store otherwise.

Very nice, clean, and well stocked. Also in a great safe higher end neighborhood. I wish I lived closer ;-(I'm going back anyways...... p.s. gas station is a nice option. EVEN has disposable gloves so you don't have to tough the pumps!! #awesome!!!

I am soooo tired of this stores out of stocks. They advertise specials on sale, but don't stock the product. I can go 2 days in a row and shelf is still bare.Dairy and frozen are the worst.I called corporate about a year ago. Nothing changed.Have talked to manager numerous times about the consistent out of stocks, nothing changed.

Great price on IPA beer and if you can catch the meat on sale you will get a great deal. These are the only 2 things I buy here because everything else is not price competitive. The store however is beautiful.

The store itself is very nice as are the people who work there and when the head produce man is there the produce area exceeds the other nearby Teeter and Publix. However, the store is grossly mismanaged in one critical way: sale items are almost never on the shelves. I recently went in 5 different times for two different sale items and no luck. This happens consistently. I have been going to this store for 10 years and the percentage of times a popular sale item is on the shelf is abysmally low. Business 101 you can't sell something you don't have out on the shelves.
