Had called earlier about a certain product and thru talking with Cashier , found product to be on Sale at a Very Reasonable Price . When I arrived , I told the cashier why I was there of which was again confirmed that the product was indeed on Sale . She rung me up , gave me A Receipt, pointed me in the right direction and she told me that someone would load me once I got to the loading dock . She was correct as it took me no time to get loaded and on my way back home . Very friendly and professional service I received at this store in Monroe !!!

I don’t think I’ve have ever , as a customer , felt more comfortable and informed about a vast array of products and accessories, with any store associate/ employee as I was with Bailey at Southern States in Monroe NC.It’s rare in today’s world to find young energetic , knowledgeable, helpful and polite sales associates that know the products on the floor inside and out and aren’t afraid to be honest with you about the products based on their personal experience or feedback that they have gotten from other customers .Great job Southern States in finding this gem Bailey and great job Bailey, you’re truly something special. Keep up the great work and you’ll own this company in a year!

Will stocked store you can definitely find what you need. The only complaint is if you need help you have to go to the checkout. There doesn't seem to be any staff on the floor to ask questions.

Ordered an item that required delivery. I was given a day and 8 hr window for delivery. An hour before that window was to close I called store to see if delivery was still arriving. No one knew anything about it. Girl I spoke to was dismissive and unapologetic. After a few minutes on hold she said delivery would be next day. I called next morning and again no one knew anything. After speaking with manager item was delivered. Never received an apology. Very poor customer service. Considering they are many times out of stock on items they should try to do better.

Great customer service. The team was able to order a hard to find item through True Value. The manager, Melissa, was very helpful and went the extra mile. They communicated when it arrived and were flexible with the pickup. Staff was helpful and pleasant when I dropped by to pick up the items. I will definitely use this location again.

The manager advised us of how and what to purchase for our pastures. We followed directions. Purchased everything from SS and did as recommended. I has nothing bu weeds. All 10 acres. I’m not happy to say the least. I called and was promised a return call and it didn’t happen. Don’t ask for advise. They don’t know what they are doing, don’t waste your money

Great when they first opened then went down hill never stocked on anything and ran by kids. I hardly ever buy from here anymore. Even switched my feeds to blue seal from a local supplier. So no loss it's doing wonders for my animals.

Frankly didn’t know this place was here. Came here after searching online for chicken feed pellets when Tractor Supply in Monroe didn’t have them. Glad I did too. Really nice people. They even loaded my car for me. I will be coming here in the future.

They may not have everything that tractor supply has, but there are people and personality makes up for it. If I know and I know I'm is at Southern states, I will go out of my way to go there. I'm writing this a five star because there people car over and beyond, extraordinary nice people. One recommendation I have is that they change where they are buying their bee supplies from- I would shop more often!

I've been using Southern States feeds and other livestock products for over 30 years with my registered Beefmaster cattle. Excellent products that allow me to get my cattle in top shape for sales throughout the Southeast and Texas. Very helpful staff and location makes it easy to get in and out. Fortunate to have Southern States in our area.

I wanted 2 buy a leaf blower there's no people waiting in line 2 lady's standing at register just talking they finally decided to help send me 2 the blower section told me someone would come and help had me waiting for 13m and I had 2 call the store to get help even after that I waited 5 more minutes not very good service

If you want to go somewhere to put you in a bad mood, this would be the place to go. Customer service is terrible, and management does not care of they have your business or not. They would rather talk amongst their friends than help a customer. Very disappointed, was a lot better store before Casey left.

Regularly purchase feed, pet supplies, farm supplies, equipment, and garden supplies here. Have a lot of other offerings, and have hardware now, which is nice. Employees always helpful!

Very disappointing with how they have ruined this store. Don't keep feed in stock and the quality of the feed has gone down a lot in the last six months - if you want a bunch of dust this is your place.

Way better than Tractor Supply! I always ask for Jason or Casey when I shop here. They know it all when it comes to feed and seed. Also, be sure to ask Casey what the joke of the day is!

Was the 1st time in this store,the shelves were stocked decently had work clothes priced reasonably I felt their boots were a tad bit expensive over all if I needed something they carried I'd go back.

$$$$. Way over priced! I was sticker shocked. I left my basket and went to Lowes and saved $25 on the same items. If you need special products for livestock I.e. cows, horses then you might want to purchase those items but for grass, weed killers etc..Lowe’s or Home Depot.
