I placed an online order to a specific location and a couple of my items were out of stock so they automatically transferred everything to the Monroe location. This location is a lot farther for me so needless to say i was very upset! I was transferred to one of the managers, Sam and he was beyond helpful. He resolved my issue and i was a very happy customer… i will say this was actually one of, if not the best customer service I've ever received from any Lowe’s. It makes me wanna drive the distance if im gonna get this type of customer service. i definitely recommend this location.

I recently visited Lowe's for a home improvement project and was thoroughly impressed. The store was well-organized, making it easy to find what I needed. The variety of products available was remarkable, from hardware to garden supplies. What stood out most was the customer service. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and went out of their way to assist me, offering valuable advice for my project. They even helped me find cost-effective alternatives. The checkout process was swift and hassle-free. I left the store feeling satisfied and well-supported for my DIY endeavors. Definitely a top-notch experience and I'll be returning for future projects

Headache from the start, VERY frustrated! I just moved into a home, so I am in need of blinds (to be measured and hung). I live in Monroe, so I thought it would be easier to use this store than the one in Indian Trail. I spoke with Sandra and Shade to set up my appointment. They told me the company would be out in the next few days to measure all the windows. I called to verify my appointment/time and I was told that my appointment was moved and Sandra didn’t know why no one called me, I took off work for this! Then the company comes out and we were told in the store that it would be $7 each blind for install, this was said by Sade. When I called Sandra to discuss my quote she was VERY rude and told me, it’s posted in the store and there’s nothing she can do. I went to purchase the blinds tonight and WASTED 45 min of my time for NOTHING!! Sandra did NOT have my order ready and she was already gone for the day and had no one to answer my questions. I was quoted for Allen and Roth blinds, but was then told by Jennifer that we cannot use those because of the measurements. I asked her if the manager would honor the install price for the Allen and Roth if we purchased a different brand of blinds and he said, “NO! I will not take a blood bath with that kind of discount for this customer!” BEN the manager did not realize I was standing where he was talking and I heard how rude and disrespectful he was. I told him that he needs to watch how he speaks ABOUT customers when he is on the sales floor. If my boss heard that a customer over heard how I spoke rudely about a customer, I WOULD BE FIRED! I asked him if he cared that I heard how he spoke and his response was , nope and then laughed. Ben is RUDE and disrespectful. I will never give a DIME to this company. Go ELSEWHERE!! I would like corporates information because BEN needs to be addressed.Edit to add: called the 1-800 number below and it was a waste of time! No help. The lady on the line said, management usually never calls anyone back. I want someone to call me immediately.

Today I visited the Lowe's Monroe store and was blown away with the customer service from "the loader" guy. I live in Charlotte but was in Monroe buying a couple of bifold doors for my project in Unionville. As I was checking out, he notice me with these 2 doors and a bad arm. I wasn't wearing a sling, it just looked weird. I recently tripped over a concrete block while unloading my trailer and fell onto a concrete driveway. I shattered my elbow and severely damaged my hand. This young man pushed my cart out to the loading area. I told him that I'd go get my truck and drive around like I normally do but he insisted to push it out to my truck in the parking lot and carefully loaded the items into my vehicle. All this was done while it was raining. I thanked him.. and he even assisted me into my truck and closed my door. His final words to me was "I'm just doing my job" Well done young man!

If I could leave a zero I would! My family has been going to this Lowe's store for 30 years and I will never go back. My husband bought a pair of Carhartt pants yesterday, there is no where to try them on and there are no cashiers!! All self checkout now! He stuck his cash payment in the machine and doesn't remember a receipt being given, there are no employees around to help him but there were plenty of employees hanging around talking when they could be checking out cystomers. The pants did not fit so today I tried to just exchange them for a bigger size, I had no receipt but they still were on the hanger and had all tags intact. I was told your policy is no exchange without receipt, I understand no cash refund but no exchange???Several comments were made that insinuated that I may have stolen them. How I got the anti-theft tags off is a mystery to me! I was embarrassed beyond belief. All I wanted was a bigger size! I am not a thief and will never shop in a store that treats me as such. Previously we shopped at this Lowes at least twice a week. Goodbye Lowe's! Hello Home Depot!

BE VERY CAREFUL when buying appliances in this store. On Friday, March 1, I bought a dishwasher that they had in stock and it was the last one. I scheduled the installation (no whit. lowes) for. Sunday morning and when we took it out of the box, the top right corner of the door was banged up and cracked. The box was not sealed and. the equipment was wet inside. Even so, I decided to install it because there were no more in the store. After being installed it didn't work. I went to Lowes on Indian Trail and they don't have ANY in stock there. I finally bought another one at Home Depot that they had in the store. When I returned to return the one from Lowes I found out that they have a policy of only 48 hours to return it to the store. They sold me a broken device and I can hardly return it. I had to pay for double installation because of the appliance salesman sold me broken equipment. be very careful with Lowes de Monroe

I've been a regular at Lowe's Home Improvement and I'm always impressed by the range of products they offer. Whether you need simple nuts and bolts or something as big as a riding lawnmower, Lowe's has it all, neatly organized for easy shopping. Their extensive merchandise deserves applause. However, there's room for improvement. The $80 delivery fee, even on pricey items, feels a bit steep. Also, while the customer service is usually adequate (sometimes great, sometimes average), I believe a bit more attention and responsiveness could really elevate the shopping experience. Overall, Lowe's is a great place with just a couple of areas that, if improved, would make it exceptional.

If I could give zero stars I would. Bought a brand new fridge The delivery guys brought it to my house and right away. He told me he couldn’t bring it in the house because the door, it was 32 inches in the fridge 36 inches wide. I told the driver to try to bring it in. He said there was nothing he could do to get it in without even trying and told me i needed to get a smaller refrigerator, I told him that I want that one because we got a small refrigerator anyways, I told him to leave it and I had a guy come to the house and help me try to bring it in within 15 minutes. He took off the doors of the fridge brought it in and got it installed for me the Lowe’s driver guy told me there was no way to do that and that was too complicated, I am very disappointed because I had to pay extra money for somebody else to help me out. Lowe’s. Needs to train these guys better and have better customer service upfront.

Buyer beware! Lowe's is good to sell you appliances and schedule a "good" install date. They'll swear it's locked in. Well, it's not. It's up to the installers and they put your date in for their convenience. Lowes just lost $2000 in appliance sales and a customer. I wouldn't trust them to sell me a nail!

I come here looking for welding sticks for a Riland welding machine. The first girl that I asked to assist me but instead of helping, she said: read the manual. I asked if she could get someone else with knowledge in the subject, she got an older guy with mustache and he also said: read your manual.The first two employees👎, they earned Lowe's zero stars.Delton⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ in the other hand, he was very professional and kind about helping. He knew exactly what I was looking for and took me to the exact item that I need it. He made saved my day and a trip to Home Depot, and no attitude but kindness. Thank you Delton⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Seriously, management should have you train the other two people who told me to read the manual instead of helping

I went to the Monroe Lowes location to pick up an order and an associate Henry King helped me beyond measure! I didn't know what I was doing because Lowes isn't a store I regularly visit and he just stopped what he was doing and helped me and I appreciated it so much and I appreciate him. I wished I could explain in detail the helped I received from him but its too much to write here. Thank you Henry King for your kindness and know that a customer like me is thankful for associates like you!

Update. They've removed all of the checkouts and replaced with self check out. I went out through the garden area waiting in the one staffed check out. Guess it's monroe hardware from now on. At least the money will stay in the community.Arrived this am to buy 400 dollars worth of thompson water seal only to be informed I'd have to use self check out. I politely returned the items and left. Monroe hardware had a person to check me out.

The employees here are not interested in learning their jobs. You are better off to have the app to find a product then to ask someone who works there.3 months later I come in for a return mind you I shop here 3-10 times a week. Laura at customer service will provide you with the rudest and slowest encounter. Disrespect and attitude seemed to be her strong suit.

Usually find what I am looking for. My husband is a veteran and the 10 percent discount they gives with large quantities of mulch that I often order. Lowes is one of our best go to stores, as well as Walmart which are beside each other in Monroe NC.

I really do like their garden section. They always seem to have what I want.They did increase the staff in the store, but the employees look petrified every time you walk down the aisle like “I hope they don’t ask me a question”, and they divert their eyes like somebody might ask them a question in math class.

If I could give less than one star I would. Needed to have board cut so it would fit in my car. I called to check, waited for over 30 minutes on the phone, then the automated response, then had to wait again for someone in lumber to answer. When finally answered, "Oh so sorry, the saw is broken." Doesn't Lowe's sell saws so why can't you get your saw fixed or use one you have on hand. The saw has been 'broken' for months so use some of the 'tools' you sell to fix your saw! I will just drive the extra miles and go to Home Depot. Wasted so much time trying to deal with Lowe's never a problem at Home Depot.

Never have any flat bed rollers available. No one is ever working, staff is understaffed. During COVID they stacked bags of concrete on top of plywood to prevent theft, who is running this store?
