This review is overdue. I stopped by on Monday, 01-02-23. Just felt like visiting a different Goodwill location. They had a good inventory of marked down holiday items. This bath accessory set was also marked down. Planning to stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

Lots of things to select. Dont expect staff to speak or say thank you. The guy running the register didnt even look at the people in line or bag our items. It was weird compared to the Charlotte locations where they are friendly

We love this goodwill! We find all sorts of great deals and spend a ton of money here but we recently noticed a short white lady with short hair working here and she does not need to be working in customer service. Sour and rude every time I speak with her.

Terrible store, nothing is by size only colors. Another waste of time. Please get new managers who do not label clothes this way. The color coated hangers don't mean size either. This isn't helpful to the consumer. I was told it works better for their cashier but yet I'm the one spending money here!!!

Who doesn't have a fitting room? What Goodwill doesn't have a fitting room?? I've never been in 1 other Goodwill that won't let you try on something before purchase. Hours wasted looking at items to try on, only to find out after the fact that there is no fitting room. Do you know what that's like for a pregnant woman??? Looking at things to try on because, you know, nothing fits. Standing on your feet for all that time. Just looking for something comfortable to wear that even fits remotely for a short time. And who wants to buy a cart load of stuff to try on at home, then have to bring it back, pregnant. There were no signs saying there wasn't a fitting room. They won't let you try anything on in the bathroom. Easily $100 in the cart to try on. Shame. Won't go back here.After further reading, it seems Goodwill has taken out the fitting rooms all together? That's what they are stating on here anyway. Too bad. Won't go somewhere for used clothing you can't try on nor get your original return of payment for. Not going to just keep "exchanging" over and over to not be satisfied.Third update in 2 days..took a risk and bought a few items yesterday. Guess what? They didn't fit. Not the stores problem. BUT, when having the receipt, the cashier rang the items wrong originally. Maternity pants as regular pants, a long shirt as a dress. Of course, it's not going to match up. And just because your employee screwed it up, somehow that's my problem? Even went back to the same person who rang it up yesterday. How about having Goodwill tags on items? Classification stickers? Anything to let you know where the item SHOULD be and how much to charge. No? And to top it off, as they stated below, store credit for the return. $21 in store credit for what, something else to return and not even sure I'm getting the correct money back? Insanity. I'm done with Goodwill. Local shops only.

They get cheap labor from the workforce and they don't pay them company standard pay rate. They call it training but they don't train you. I spent time there and just shuffle through shoes and nothing else. Don't spend or donate to this billon dollar corporation that is a wolf in sheep clothing.Just some public relations person down there giving talking points off a piece of paper. Speaking from my experience ,your company is a scam working with the workforce. I got recruited from the workforce and got paid much less then my co workers starting pay while i was there at this store, because it was call training. Never train me to do nothing.

Your company needs to get rid of the Regional Manager named Colleen. She does not manage her employees effectively. She let's them do whatever they want as long as they are hitting margins. There have been employees committing theft and she has been turning a blind eye to some of it. I know a colleague of hers that's is also a Regional Manager from your company that provided information on Colleen. I would be more than happy to pass that individuals information along and share information I was told that was not reflective of Goodwills Values.

I have been coming to this location for years, always had relatively positive experiences until today. An older cashier I believe named Martha was paged once for backup at the cash register as the line was at least 6 people deep, she didn't come or respond to the first page and the already busy cashier had to page her again by name. As she's walking up she clearly says "yeah, yeah I'm coming". As she walks past me and my son, who is 18 months old and standing up directly in front of me, less than a foot apart because he's a small child and getting antsy from standing in line for 5 minutes at this point, she very rudely said "Can you make him sit down" with an attitude. That's fine, you have the right to ask me that but what you don't have the right to do is speak to my 18 month old child the way you did. He was talking/babbling to me and she said to my child "Yeah you won't be saying that when you flip the cart over and fall on your face". It certainty rubbed me the wrong way. I thought about staying in line and seeking the original cashier but after that encounter I will no longer be supporting this location.

Been coming here for years to get toys mostly, over the last 2 months the people pricing the toys have made them literally three times as expensive, a nerf gun at the goodwill in Matthews that would normally be 2$ is 6-7$ at this one, driving a little further us actually worth it now. It’s not just the toys either, all misc items have significantly increased recently, and not just a small jump to march inflation.

Haven't been in a while...til today. Changed my 3 star to a 2 because the pure HATEFULNESS of the three ladies in the checkout area blew my mind! If the older white lady with red hair is the manager...she was the worst! They must be getting trained this way. From the time that location opened, til about a year ago, it was my favorite place to go. Now I feel queasy just thinking about it. The two stars I did leave are for the items in the store.. and the employees have no control over that part. Must be by that is still decent

Just went with the wife. Found a great deal on several item's.I am old school, so when it comes to movies/music, I like having physical copies.Wife found a great deal on a pair of Hey Dude's and Luke Combs shoe. $14.99 each.But be warned, take bags with you. They do not have bags anymore. So if you by a lot of stuff, you will definitely need them.Overall experience was great.

I always find something great at the Goodwill. I went there to donate and then popped in to shop. I found this beautiful French framed painting of Gigi from one of my favorite movies. Soir de Paris Bourjois. I donated about a thousand music CDs here and a bunch of household goods. I decided to go in and check out what they might have. I got this dress with tags were brand new. I also got a really cute seahorse maxi dress and a cute military camo jacket.

Store manager has a big mouth anything that was talked about in that office is very confidential so therefore whatever was said in there should’ve stayed in that office. I don’t care if I don’t work for this company anymore you should’ve kept your mouth shut after everything was over with.

I always find something to buy every visit. This store is kept clean and employees seem nice. I wish clothes were sorted by size though. It is frustrating to look through 100s of jeans for the right size. Nice store, I will be back.

My wife and I were in line yesterday evening when we overheard two cashiers making fun of a young lady who was checking out. This took place in the presence of her small child. They were pretty rude; laughing and talking negatively about her loud enough for us to hear when there were several people in front of us so I know the mother and daughter had to of heard also.We felt we had to bring this to your attention, and we will not be shopping here again in the future!

This store had a great selection of different things: dog toys, furniture, books, and clothes galore! Only reason for 4/5 stars...it was difficult to find shirt sizes. Instead of separating by color, I think it would be much better to separate the clothes by sizes! It would help the customers alot!!

Got a few items ... But we are used to Goodwills having a color system where certain colours are cheaper than others. Missed that. Also, NOOO trying on room and not even mirrors in the floor so one.can see if something fits. I could have bought several blouses, but not without a way if ensuring they fit.

One of my favorite places!!! I love the variety of things here. The store is one of the cleaner, nicer, goodwill's that I have visited. They do a great job of bringing things out from the back frequently for people to purchase. My only complaint is that it seems like the prices keep creeping up. I hate that some things are WAY overpriced. I mean, come on.... these things were donated.... FREE!!!! I have seen things from the DOLLAR STORE.... priced at $5 and $6!!! And $1 matchbox cars.... for $3 and $4 each!!!

Love goodwill, however, they rang a mens T-shirt up as a woman’s blouse and when I questioned it, they told me it was based on the seams. It was 1000% a T-shirt and I believe they just didn’t want to correct their mistake. Disappointed in the service, however, it is goodwill. But really you should be able to tell what a T-shirt is.

Don't ever take your kids there!!! If you do, do not keep them out of your sight! Men come in there in groups of 2 or 3. They wander separately around the store for a few minutes, following unsuspecting children and mothers. Then they leave and another group comes in to do the same. My girls and I were just in there, a young lady warned me we were being followed. Waiting to check out I witnessed this operation! Please keep your kids safe!

Always can find a deal at these places! But buyer beware on some items... the markup on some of these DONATED items is ridiculous! Goodwill is turning too much profit on alot of items and their prices just keep going up 😧

They have a wide variety of styles, sizes and all very good quality! The shoe selection is fairly large, clothing items clearly displayed, friendly staff and will be back for the great finds at great prices.

First off, if you're looking for great quality women's clothing, they have the best!! The staff is really friendly as well! Just a note, if looking for furniture, it goes super fast!

Took a full truck load of good stuff. Kids toys good electronics. They were to busy whining about the dust on everything. They were in a shed. They didn't even get to the flat screen tvs and video games. They didn't want to have to clean I guess. I'll take to someone who will appreciate. I understand some people probably bring trash up there. They were being lazy. I'm glad I didn't give them all the real nice stuff I had in the back seat. They went back in before I could even show them.

I'm a avid supporter of Goodwill and the positive contribution it provides to needy members of our community. But it's hard to contribute and be supportive when you drive up from home with boxed donations and discover they had no one to accept the donations due to lack of adequate staffing.

I wish Goodwill would do 2 things1. Open fitting rooms2. Stop arranging clothes by color and do it by size again. AwfulAnd at this location the housewares and toys sections always stink
