I have not been to the sunset location in a couple years, However a recent visit proved to be very nice, The store.Has had a nice face slept and it was an extremely clean and well kept store.My wife and I found everything that we were looking for the cashiers seemed happy and very courteous,The on duty manager; Jay Was very active and involved in his store , I've been taking a moment to speak with him.I found him very engaging and complimented him highly on the turnaround of the store, We will return even if it's slightly out of our way.

I had a wonderful experience while I was there. I found everything I needed and the cashier was very nice. I received excellent customer service throughout my stay at Food Lion, and I am thankful that it is within close distance to me.👌👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Andrew works harder than anyone there and while the big oversized man lady manager is cutting up and being funny people are waiting in line and will just walk away and go hang out with other employees.

This Food Lion does a good job considering location. Shelves are always stocked, floors are clean and produce is nicely maintained. They generally keep the parking lot picked up despite WAY too many people emptying their cars in it. Cashiers are competent, for the most part. Smaller selection of items compared to the other stores in the area is really the only downside but it’s not enough of a difference to make me go to a different one.

Store was extremely clean.Most items was in stock. Staff was super friendly. Cashier was quick and well spoken. If you live on that side of town, then you should check them out.Prices are a lil high. But isn't everything these days. Also they have plenty of Poinsettia's in small, medium and large sizes.

I stop at this location often and I have to say some of the most friendly people work there. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager and she is very nice and very friendly with the customers. This store is very well maintained and stocked very well.

This location is always well stocked and the employees are helpful. I like to go early in the morning when it's not so crowded during the week. They don't have grocery pickup, which I love having that option with a wild 4 year old that thinks he can put whatever he wants in a cart.

Definitely not a first choice for me when shopping at Food Lion. Customer service was ok but I came in to make purchases and was told I needed to come back in 30 minutes or go somewhere else. Shocked to say the least.

Food lion needs to have more selections of food lion brands or cheaper brands to off set the major top shelf items they have there. Hot food there is horrible. Pretty cut deli meat mostly contains half pound delections, need more 1 pound selections.

I really love Food Lion's produce and meat departments. Their sales are always very helpful each week while making my list and staying on a budget. This is definitely one of the nicest and cleanest locations around.

The customers were quite friendly and accommodating as I rode around in an electric cart provided by Food Lion. The cashier was asked to provide two gives for change and did however she shut the drawer while being asked if I could have two tens for a twenty. It was good treatment overall for a Food Lion. How much service can I expect from a grocery store? I will go there again.

They Always have everything I need in stock and it's always easy to find. This store is always clean and their fruit and vegetables are very fresh and enticing. (The store going from Monroe towards Mineral Springs. Great store)

They never seem to have what I'm looking for. The cashiers ( most of them )are not friendly at all. Deli counter had dead flies on and in between pre packaged meats and cheeses. I have seen a decline in quality and cleanliness. Pass this Food Lion location bye.Good thing is there more Food Lion stores not far from this one. Cleaner and friendlier.

Food Lion #34 is one of the older buildings in the chain of stores. The employees are nice and greet you well. Some of the employees in this location have been with the company for years and are very knowledgeable regarding the store as a whole and beyond their own departments. Note that the store opens later and closes earlier than any other Food Lion in the area opening its doors at 10am until 7pm.

Quick and easy to get in and out. Helpful, pleasant cashiers coupled with low prices and the fact that I can find every thing I need, even for my more exotic recipes make it one of my all time favorite places to buy groceries!

Nice store but smaller than most. Less choices but there are times I've been in larger ones and had the same thing. Usually nice employees and always ask if you found everything ok.

I went here around Five ish yesterday because I had to return an item. However, I have noticed since I started coming here that on three different occasions an African American male that worked in Human resource has this nonchalant attitude and does not greet or maybe he does not “feel” the need to greet me. Ok, cool. That is why I decided to rate and review because this is the third time that this happened to me, and he cussed in front of me while his co worker was next to him. Maybe you all can do a Customer Service Training because their are customers like myself that actually like being greeted. 🙃🙃🙃🙃

The prices at food lion are always reasonable. They have everything you need from your produce to your baked goods. Customer service is always very helpful and unlike Wal-Mart they always have plenty of cashiers on so you don't have to wait on lengthy lines. Im always satisfied with everything except the meat for some reason I dont like the quality or selection of meat I go elsewhere for fresh meat,I don't like the way it looks it the fact that it expires and looks dark but for everything else it's a great store to stop at the save money and find what you need.

Meat department very sad so was the produce department Dairy Department had a poor selection if you live on a restricted diet they might as well call this place a Super Dollar General junk food store grocery stores like this is why there is such poor health in America company really needs to learn how to give better products selection to its customers

Food Lion on Sunset Dr has been my primary grocery for the last 2 years. They upgraded the store in 2016, and it is an excellent place to shop. Meats are always fresh, vegetables are plentiful and well managed, and the staff is friendly.

I loved that the manager was friendly every time that I go to this Food Lion he is nice the cashier's are not friendly they don't have customer service skills the one that checked me out was ghetto fabulous and the other one acted like she was busy and didn't have no one in line this store is nice and clean but some of the cashier's need to be more polite
