Wonderful, helpful people here! A stray puppy turned up at our house. I was told they have a scanner at Woof and Hoof and they do! They also told me what I needed to do as far as attempting to find the pup's owner, etc. So very helpful and nice about it all. Prices are not the outrageous "boutique" prices you might expect from a local business. Highly recommend!

I've become a regular here for good reason. I love shopping local and being able to greet the owner by name, have him meet me at my car knowing exactly what I want, and having a place to get hay first my animals without having to drive clear out to Midland. It's so easy to hit up the library and then get some hay and chicken feed and head home. Super convenient, great service, love it.

Place is great! So friendly! Gotta be 20 years I’ve been going here for our dogs. Single dose purchase of flea meds, AWESOME treats, toys, food, hay, buck yum, and competitive prices! Beats the “big stores” by far! Mint Hill is a great place to do your American small retail stores shopping!

The best local pet shop in town! Sells a lot more than just horse stuff just so you know. Often hosts adoption events too. Patrick, the owner, is an absolutely awesome person. Can't recommend this place enough!

This is a wonderful feed store with wonderful people. As soon as you enter an employee will greet you and ask why you are looking for and begin to help you find those items. I have even had an employee go to the back of the store and grab a large bag of dog food and carry it all the way to my car for me without being asked. The service at this store is phenomenal!! The prices are also extremely reasonable! I went in the other day to get some chewing and teeth cleaning treats for a dog I am fostering and I was shocked at how low my total was for such high quality treats. Truly a wonderful store!!

After searching in all the big box pet stores for a particular dog food and not finding it, I decided to stop here and I’m glad I did. I found the food I was looking for and it wasn’t overpriced. The staff was very nice and welcoming and answered all the questions I had. I will definitely return to this location for all my future needs!

I have shopped this store for many years. They do their very best to price their products the same or lower than the larger pet stores. They keep up with all the knowledge of their products and will special oder what you need. I sometimes pay a few cents more just for convince, but they do offer their products at a competitive price. ( Plus I rather buy from a local business, and local folks when at all possible) The service is great and they love our pets. Close to 485 off of the Mint Hill, 218 exit.

Didn’t buy anything but spent some time on the phone with the owner. Very, very helpful and knowledgeable. Was very impressed with the top notch customer service and the information Patrick had to offer. Big box has nothing on the Woof and Hoof!!! I will gladly go out of my way to shop here. Woof and Hoof customers get way more than just a random bag of pet food! The only thing I’m disappointed in is myself, specifically that it took me so long to call with my questions. My friend was prodding me to bring my business here and I dragged my feet, which I regret. I should have talked to Patrick a year ago!!!

Every time I go to Woof and Hoof, I am impressed at their selection. We stopped in to grab some treats for our Guinea pigs, and they had a selection that rivals PetSmart, for a better price and much closer to home! They also have a bakery for dog cupcakes, treats and more, along with nicer brands of dog foods that are hard to find if you have a pet with allergies. The staff is always friendly and helpful, are willing to order items if they don't have them in stock.
