We love to stop in here for snacks! During the warmer months, Rita stocks all kinds of fresh produce from local farms. She has a fantastic selection of local meats and cheeses and gets a shipment of fresh seafood every week. The farm store is a must-stop if you’re heading out to Lake Lure!

We love this place! There’s a nice selection of homemade, home grown meats, produce and the like. We love the homemade breads, loaf cakes, quiche and oh that popcorn is amazing! Reda is just awesome and has never steered us wrong on anything we’ve tried. So if you haven’t been to the Mill Farm Store stop by and give it a try you’ll be glad you did!!!

Our family of twelve visited Mill Spring Farm Store for the first time and were super happy about all of the local products were available. From loca honey and fresh made bread to fresh .eat and seafood, they have it. We all purchased something. I personally found a mushroom based root beer drink and kombucha to be just what I needed today and may be going back tomorrow for some honey, cheese and bread. Others in my group said they will be trying fresh seafood which we were told to order on Monday or Tuesday and pickup on Friday.Being in business for ten years (five at this location) they have created a wonderful store for a small community and people like us that are just visiting.Visited and reviewed December 15, 2023If you like this review, my videos or photos, please give it a thumbs up.

I’m all for supporting local business and this gem is definitely worthy your money.Yes it is organic and every thing is locally grown/raised so expect to pay more than what you would at Food Lion or IGA but it’s so fresh and yummy!Reda (who runs the store?) is super friendly and nice, explained in detail where everything is from.The store itself is a little hard to find if you don’t pay attention to the sign. It’s inside the big brick multifunction building on the second level (if you come from the side door by the parking).I might try to order their fresh seafood next week!

Picked up my Fresh Fish, from coast of NC. So happy with the size and freshness.Lots of local fresh greens & veggies to choose from.Reda is just a pleasure and knowledgeable. Locally grown, organic, fresh products. Best place to shop.Gluten free choices. Low carb alternative pastas, nuts, jams & jellies. Fresh seafood on Friday. Local frozen meats (from roast to ground chicken- steak & duck) fresh eggs

We love this store so much! It's nice to get locally grown food, as well a healthy options. We got some of the best peaches I've had in years! We also discovered Uncle Scott's root beer here and are huge fans. Best root beer ever! Reda is always friendly and helpful.

Nice, fresh products albeit a bit pricey. Having said that, I'm looking forward to frying up the fresh caught fish. You can't buy those kinds at your local grocer.

Stopped in on my way home from work. What a sweet store. very fresh and so many yummy choices. I picked up locally farm raised beef and pork. some fresh bread. and some local made sauces and jams. oh and the cheese danish was bangin'!!!!! Next time I'm down there...I will definitely stop to replenish my pantry.

The best meat anywhere in the area! Rita was so helpful and friendly and the sirloin roast was the best tasting pot roast I have made in a LONG time! Absolutely fantastic! We were on vacation in the Mill Spring area, and are so happy we found this little gem! The meat is top quality, so expect to pay more than Food Lion or IGA, but you so truly get what you pay for, and it is so worth it! And the other locally made products, from produce, to honey, to balsamic vinegar, to soaps are all amazing! So happy to have found this place!

I went in not knowing what to expect. I was pleased with what I found. I had a great sandwich, carrot cake and really good lemonade. I don't think that it's that far out of the way. It's definitely worth it. The people who worked there were exceedingly helpful.

This place is awesome and very warm welcome. The owners are also extremely nice. Had us sold on a few extra items. But we were so glad they did! Everything is locally grown and made, and extremely tasty. We'll definitely be returning!

Kind of a nice little jewel. Good variety of veggies and meat. They'll even get fresh fish for you. Order by 5 on Tuesday and pick it up thursday direct from the coast of NC. Great selection of seafood and fish. We bought several different things to try stuff out. We had the potato casserole tonight and it was great. Also a good place to go to for something basic you need and don't want to drive far to get.

I love this place!!! I actually don't need to go out of town for fresh, yes fresh seafood and meat from a local farm. I feel I need to feed my family and myself as well as possible. Their are some very fresh veggies and many items that I can only find here.
