A little before and after! I just moved here to North Carolina from Utah and I needed a good groomer! Super pleased with how smooth they made the experience. As I walked in they were really friendly to nova (mini schnoodle) when I came through the door and were really sweet to her which calmed my nerves. I didn’t get the name for the person I spoke to at the front desk but she was very sweet. I was told Danielle groomed nova and I will definitely go back to Danielle again! Thanks so much Danielle!They definitely have a loyal customer!

They do an amazing job with grooming! My great pyrenees can be a pain sometimes for grooming (loves to dead weight and be a baby) but Alexas (I believe) did great with him and was super fast :) He looks so good thanks to her and makes his upkeep easier for me

Modern Pet Salon in Weddington is the best place for my Cavalier King Charles. The entire staff is so caring, personal, and the services are great. My Cavy always smells fabulous and her cut is beautiful. I highly recommend them!!

They are so good with my dogs! From the moment you walk-in Melissa is always there to greet my pups and they are so excited to be there’s when pickup time comes around, they look like 2 completely different dogs, beautifully groomed and happy! Never got to take my dog there. I had an appointment. I called to ask a few questions due to canine airborne disease outbreak across country. Danielle was rude, talked over me, interrupted me. This was after holding 15 minutes just to speak to someone. This is unfortunate, they came pretty highly recommended.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET!If I could give a negative star- this would be the place to receive it. I even waited to try their services a second time before reviewing, thinking the first bad experience was just a fluke- WRONG!Twice I tried to get my two six pound dogs groomed. First experience overall went well, until we were home and noticed that they cut and injured my male dog (on the inside of his back leg) causing us to have to bring him to the animal hospital. Due to the location the vet could not stitch his wound in fear of it popping with normal daily activities - so a cone of shame, antibiotics and ointment were needed. When I called to inform them of the injury- THEY KNEW!!!! They KNEW that they injured my pet yet failed to inform us at pick up NOR call once they realized he was picked up without apology!!Most recent grooming was today- scheduled in advanced, we were called to come earlier due to cancellations- (I know why they cancelled now!) After no word for over 3.5 hours and their phone ringing busy and unable to contact them, I went to the location and was told they needed 40 more minutes to finish - as they require 4 hours for two dogs- ONE groomer is assigned to both. WHAT NONSENSE- especially not being told until your pet is back there! Other large breed dogs who checked in with us were walking out and my dogs were still being worked on- LIES- one dog got a terrible cut- the other just a bath and comb- not a hair on his body was cut.Just FRUSTRATING- especially since I made it clear upon arrival I was ready to pick them up- regardless if they were ready, and felt I was getting the run around and they were stalling to bring my pets out- worst feeling is to know they have your pet and they are not bringing them out immediately when they know you are not too pleased!Save your dogs from injuries, poor haircuts, and spending half a day in a kennel- most importantly save your patience.REPLY-Since you are intent on lying and not taking responsibility yet again- I will update this review to say a few things and clear up any discrepancies.First if we were HOSTILE upon check in by playing in the lobby with our dogs on the floor with two of your employees and helping identify possibly matting on my dog- then we are guilty- I’m sure your cameras and other patrons also notices our hostility and we were asked to leave correct?? No. LiesSecond we quietly checked in upon arrival at 2:45pm to see if they were ready after arriving at what you quoted was 11:30am- it took about 6 different employees and then you the owner to come out and have the same conversation about whether or not we would be willing for you to finish their cut- as one dog was ready- my husband and I were yes a little frustrated by the time you came out due to watching dog after dog get checked out, pay for services and leave while we were waiting for our dogs who were not on a single grooming table and we advised we wanted to take home as is. You were essentially denying us our dogs and delaying our exit.As proof you did not advise or contact us on our fist visit and injury I have the text string from your employee Sarah who asked for pictures of my dog as evidence he was injured and her apology. If you already notified us and apologized and if YOU suggested we take our dog to the vet why then the apology days after his visit while he was healing and with his cone on his head?As far as complimentary services- I specifically told the young lady I did not want anything free and wanted to pay for whatever services were completed today- I was advised it was taken care of as we had a “credit” from the last visit-where you injured my dog.Your treatment of us during and now is appalling. My review was honest and accurate, vs your attempt to demean me and I hope people will realize that you attack any negative review that comes your way. I am glad to never deal with you again and wanted to warn others of your facility.
