Driving through Marshall and our first choice was closed. Wanting lunch and this place looked good and unique. It was nice and eclectic with a gypsy feel.We ordered our food and ate outside. They ran out of a few things and menu had to be altered on several meals. Out of the 5 food items we ordered the Ruben was the only with flavor. All the wraps tasted like tortilla with lettuce and dry turkey. We had hoped for more.

Love this coffee shop. Delicious lattes and the food is sooooo good. We get the same thing every time. I get the veggie Reuben (it’s a bit on the salty side so if you’re not into salt try something else), my mum gets the blt, and my husband gets the turkey something or other. We all have very different food tastes and this place satisfies all of our desires.

Such a big, open spaced coffee shop where you can hang out to eat or just chill while you work. Right on the main street and close to the river too.I got the one smoothie they offer with espresso in it with added peanut butter and I was obsessed.

Madison County's top coffee shop also serves a delicious and wide ranging food menu. Cafe-style eats, including baked goods, breakfast food, bagels, sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. They serve delicious and locally roasted counter-culture coffee. Nice mellow atmosphere inside and fun location in "downtown" Marshall and right beside the French Broad River. Live bluegrass jam every Thursday night. Highly recommend!

Super chill cafe in the heart of downtown Marshall. Art covers the space, folks were enjoying their coffees like it was a Saturday morning routine, and they were playing Bob Marley when I walked in.I got the bagel with cream cheese, bacon, and tomato. The bagel was a bagel from a bag, Lender's style, so not artisan by any means, but it was fine. The cream cheese, bacon, and tomato all went together well. My oat milk latte was tasty. The prices were right, in and out including tip for about $10.The staff was super friendly and the girl at the counter asked how to spell my name to make sure she wrote it down right. I liked the vibe of the place while I waited for my order, I could easily see losing a few hours in a book here.

First time in Marshall. I discorverd it on airbnb because we found a treetop Tipi and figured it would be cool to "camp in style". The town of marshal is overall friendly and home feeling. Zuma was great! I would love to visit again

This was our 2nd visit to Zuma Coffee within a weeks time. When nearly a year ago a co-worker told me that a Grammey award winner Blue Grass singer and fidle player from Bill Monroe's band played there Thursday nights. Bobby Hicks is his name and sure enough he is still at it at 83 or so and it is great. Staff there are very good a great team, the Zuma Coffee shop owner is just as friendly and greets guest coming and going. Food is great and priced right. Only I wish there was a no limit refill on the coffee, you're allowed one. If you like to dance to great music by very well talented muscians and eat great food. Meet nice friendly home town people then you don't want to miss Zuma Coffee in Marshall.

Joel's place is the best in Marshall. After 6 you can usually find some good open mic music to boot.

When we are in Marshall my husband and I go to Zuma I guess like many people, because is the only place in town to have good coffee, but the truth is that the place is not great, the furniture they have is extremely old, the colors don’t match, and the seats are very dirty. They could make improvements, buying new chairs and tables, having a better decor, making a nice cozy place.Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free cake which is ok.

Great little coffee shop and lunch hang out. I spent a month in Marshall and made almost daily visits for lunch. My kids loved the breakfast bagel sandwiches and I loved the traditional reuben. The staff was super friendly. Lots of locals routinely visit and everyone knew each other. Service was quick and efficient. The dine-in area was closed due to covid precautions, but looked like a cute decor. Highly recommend!!!

I love this place. We are locals and this is just the coolest place. The staff is super chill but friendly. The food is awesome, seriously. The bacon, egg and cheese on gluten free bread is amazing. Idc how you make something so simple so good but it really is. The blt is awesome too.

We're a family with kids and friends in the area. While visiting, we go here every day. They have a great kids play area, great coffee, baked goods, and amazing food. Seriously, eat here. My youngest has the soup, oldest had a sandwich, wife had a veggie sandwich, and I had the runs sandwich. Everything was great. People were King and welcoming, and they attract a customer base that helped us feel even more at home. I Highly recommend this place.

Quirky little coffee stop in a marvelous, quiet little town. I waited for 7-8 visits before leaving this review and it has been fantastic each time. Whether its a baked good or a good breakfast or just a cup of coffee I rate this place as a must go to if you are swinging through the town. Marshall is a little out of the way, but this place is worth a visit.

I love the food but the mobile ordering is so bad. Every time I try to order online, I'm always waiting 20 more minutes for my food or drink to be made because someone forgot to do something. i enjoy the place and really want to like it, but I feel like I'm aways leaving frustrated.

Nice place to relax and hang out for a break if your in or close to Marshall, NC. They have a variety of different coffee shop type snacks and the Mocha Latte was nice. The kids who waited on us were nice, but not very engaging. Felt a bit like we were bothering them... Not the first time I've noticed this.

It's exactly what a coffee shop is supposed to be. I enjoyed a snack, a cup of coffee, and did a painting at the table by the window one rainy Saturday.

Poor nice new girl trying to help me at counter. Asked the size of the salad to know whether daughters and I could share and she asked the cliche of a hippy owner who held up a to go container and waved it around in in exasperation as a response and when she rang me up adding tomatoes to my BLT I added (agreeing without issue to paying FIFTY CENTS MORE to add to my 3 meal order (!)) he chimes in after the fact and says BLTs don’t come with tomatoes literally rolling his eyes at which point I just canceled my order and said on second thought I don’t want to spend my money here and just went and ate across the street. They were very nice.

We are cafe owners in Milan, Indiana. Milan inspired the movie, "Hoosiers", in 1954 by winning the 1954 Indiana State basketball championship. Our cafe is named the Blue Olive Cafe. We are next door to the1954 Hoosier basketball museum. We were blessed to have been guided to this little cafe in Marshall, North Carolina. Zuma is a wonderful cafe. Their breakfast, the BTCC was just right. We loved the cream cheese spread on our everything bagel with bacon and tomatoe. I had the Heath latte and it came with a frothy head and delightful blended flavor of chocolate and toffee.I would highly recommend this cafe. Even if it is a bit out of the way, it is worth the visit.

Highly recommend. Chipotle Turkey Wrap was amazing. We also got a blueberry muffin which was good. I also really liked their caramel latte with oatmilk. Great little place!
