I always stop here when visiting Hot Springs because the shop is the cutest little coffee shop with local art and trinkets. A variety of of coffees, smoothies and homemade snacks. Atmosphere outside the shop is a great entrance to hot springs. Check this place out!

This is a wonderful, eclectic spot! They seem to specialize in quality, local food, drinks, and handmade goods. The coffee is locally roasted and the pastries + baked goods seem homemade as well. There's a nice mix of quality treasures & convenience items.. even some paddling gear & essential accessories in the corner. (see hours in pictures)

Coffee was great! Stopped here as we were passing through from an overnight on the Appalachian Balds. Coffee was properly made and hit the spot! It was exactly what I needed to push me through the drive. Cool little trinkets and some supplies in the store as well.

Really cute shop. Nice selection of coffee and teas. As well as edibles. Lots of interesting knick knacks to look at & buy. Right near the trailhead. Picnic tables outside. Porto John too. Beware of snakes hanging around the water!

This is a charming little store nestled next to a river on the way from Asheville to Hot Springs. They have food, tea, coffee, and all kinds of various local crafts and a few bits of tourist merchandise, like tshirts. The store also offers some services for hikers.

This is the type of store that almost feels like you’ve walked into a dream. You can really tell how much love the owners have put into the store, between the highly curated goodies inside and the beautiful flowers and decorations outside during the summer. All the wares were beautiful, and I could have easily spent more money than I did - the quality is just that good. I’ve already used up the simple syrups I bought, and I get a ton of compliments for the lovely botanical/nature inspired T-shirt I bought, too. Can’t wait to revisit the next time I’m in the Hot Springs area.

Thus was a cute little store that was built Over the river! It looks really cool and across the street is a Wagon wheel that is layed on it's side with 5 mail boxes on too that spin so the mail deliverer can spin it and put everyone's mail in!The store itself is a coffee/ knicknack/etc shop. She has some pastries and homemade dog treats. The majority of the items I saw were from local people and really awesome! I got my mom a clay evenvople magnet that held dry flowers! She loves it!

Laurel’s River Shop was one of our FAVORITE places we visited in the Hot Springs and Asheville area. We loved chatting with the owner and hearing all her connections/information about the beautifully crafted items. We picked up gorgeous cards, pottery, honey, jams, soaps…. Clearly we couldn’t resist. Still drooling over the Cinnamon roll too!

This is a quaint little shop with a variety of goods from local or small businesses. The shop owner is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist. I purchased several unique Christmas gifts from here, and I look forward to passing them along to loved ones. Be sure to move your eyes from top to bottom as you go. There are trinkets and goodies in every inch of this place.

The owner, Jamima, is very friendly but not a pushover. She can and will have a conversation with you on almost any subject while being respectful but tell you her position as well.Her coffees are made to order and she will customize them for you. She has all the machines needed to make gourmet coffee, latte, machiato, cappuccinos and espresso.Her store has home made candies, jelly and she recently added pet rocks, each with a custom 1 of a kind paint job.

Wonderful place! Best coffee within 200 miles without a doubt. The people who own/operate this small business are some of the most down to earth and friendly people I've ever met. I would also recommend the husband's fishing guide service.. His knowledge of the area and fish are invaluable.

I love this place and I own a coffee shop. Good locally roasted beans. Good equipment. They know what they're doing. Lots of local flavor in the knick knacks on the shelves. If you're going to Hot Springs go the extra 5 miles to this place. Thank me later

My wife and I always stop here on our yearly trip to hot springs, usually a good or average experience.BUT!This past weekend was bad enough we will probably never go back. The lady running the shop could not have been any more rude to us. I won't go into details but it was bad enough for us to walk out promising to not come back.We went into Hot springs and visited a delightfull coffee shop called Artisun Gallery and Cafe.While in this coffee shop another couple came in with the exact same experience as us.All I can say is if you're that miserable you probably need to find different work.

This place is like an oasis in the desert for coffee enthusiasts! Assorted bakery items are offered along with their coffee offerings (espresso, cappuccino, grapes etc.) There are seats by the Laurel River where you sit by water and extraordinary views of the surrounding mountains. Good service. Reasonable prices.

This convenience/crafts/coffee store is a gem! Jemima and her husband are true locals who came back to their native community to build a life in connection with nature and with their people. They are true nature lovers and river people. They are kind and are highly respected by local people. Jemima is a great resource for information about places to see and things to do locally. they can connect paddlers with locals that doe shuttles, they will see bit of river gear on a pinch, and they serve a killer dark roast cup a joe. The store is filled with crafts from local people - odd, curious, fascinating, different stuff. The Laurel River Store is one of the best cases of a local family engaging with tourism in their own terms. A must stop any time I visit the region.
