As am Ohioan, I can say the closest thing we have to Ingles is a Giant Eagle. The store was well laid out with all the necessities and some luxuries. The best thing had to be the slushy machine with some amazing Kool-aid flavors. I highly recommend this establishment.

We are regulars here. I think it's a great store with great employees, there are a few rude ones here and there but it's a big store and I feel like there are more good ones than bad. Gluten free options are awesome.

My wife and I have lived in WNC for most of our middle-aged years, and this is the best Ingles we've ever shopped in. We have to give a shout-out to John in Curbside for his exceptional customer service. His work ethic and politeness remind me of days gone by.

It had so many choices!!!! Loved the freshed Rib Eye steak they packed us! We took like 260.00 dollars worth of groceries with us back to the Cabin! Was awesome! The blueberries were great! They were sweet not tart! Loved it and had a wonderful time! Thank you Ingles 😊 💓!

You have moved up a star from last place. You've finally hired people that know how to make a sandwich. Over the last year the employees would just grab whatever they thought you needed and pile it all over. Not just deli items but just about everything in the store. Now the key is to treat these new employees like humans, pay them a fair wage and get them to stay. If you can keep up the pace I'll move my ratings up.

First time in an Ingles. The store is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Love that they have a Starbucks. It is nice to have a store in town so we don't have to drive 40 minutes to get groceries.

Have been shopping here for 5 years next February. Really enjoy their hot meals, starbucks is a real draw for us, but turnover has been hard on them.

If you go to the deli and you only have cash the deli register is never open. And if it is it’s an ordeal to get someone to come to it. Then none of the self check out takes cards, So you have to go thru a regular line. There’s only gonna be 1 or two of these open at best. So after you stand in that line for 20 min your deli food is closed. Could easily go to a set down restaurant and eat faster.

Nice grocery store, easy to navigate, descent prices, and friendly employees. What really sets this place apart from most others is their bathrooms. Normally, I would give a grocery store 3, maybe 4, stars but not this one. It receives an extra star for the upgrade soft, 2 ply toilet paper they put in the stalls. Kudos to you, Ingles! Will definitely stop by again, if nothing else, for the facilities.

Please put a sign up if you’re cleaning the bathroom!I’ve been to this Ingles a few times and for the most part it was an okay experience. Today I had a strange experience with an employee. I went here for groceries, but I had to use the restroom first. I walked into the mens restoom and saw a lady there cleaning. I stopped just passed the entrance and said hi! She glanced at me, then just went back to cleaning without saying a word. I looked back and noticed there wasn’t a sign up. I waited a minute to see if she would say anything back..Since she wasn’t saying anything I asked, are you just getting started, almost done? She said she had to sweep and mop, but I could go ahead. She exited, but came back inside before I could exit. An awkward situation and felt rushed. Decided to grocery shop at another Ingles. I understand no one likes cleaning bathrooms, have bad days, etc. Just please put up a sign so customers know.Thank you

Ingles has really gone downhill in the past 5 years. Prices are comparable to Publix but without the quality of service. I have gone through the regular check out aisles twice now and had to bag my own groceries. Other staff including managers were all pilfering around. I get the young kids not helping bc they don’t get paid enough it the managers? It’s worth the gas to go to Aldi.

Went on Monday (President's Day) to get a check cashed and was told they did not have enough money to cash $330 check. Came back the next day and they said they could not cash my check because it couldn't read my check. Went to my bank and they had no problem reading the check and my bank said everything was in order and Ingles should have been able to read and cash my check through their machine. I feel slighted because one day you can cash my check but not enough money...next day you cannot read my check. Was it because I was a black man or what? Very disturbing when I come there only when I am in town because I am on the road setting up concerts and the check was written on 5th 3rd bank. Unacceptable when my check has been cashed there before. This is the Ingles in Marshall, NC.

Went to lunch and had sandwiches made at ingles. Decided to go eat inside at their tables. None of them were clean....pretty common. Also, the pictures I posted were of the table I was going to sit at and seen the food and the ants. Then noticed that there whole dining area hadn't been swept in what looked to be a couple days.

Great grocery store in Marshall NC. We were staying in an airbnb cabin about 30 minutes away in the deep woods country. We found this store to have everything we needed for the weekend get away. The store is beautiful, well stocked, clean, and full of friendly helpful staff.

This is a good Ingles, one of the larger store designs. Good variety and has all you would need. Thier brands are not as high end as Harris Teeter or Whole Foods but they are generally less expensive so that's the trade-off.

I love this Ingles. I am disabled. Everyone here makes sure when I come in that I don't need anything. Everyone is willing to help with a smile on their face. This Ingles makes me feel special. I don't feel like a burden. For that I thank you!!!

I've lived here all my life. Remember when it was a dark run down store across the street. Recently the kids they hire to run the registers are absolutely horrible. Ask inappropriate questions while you are simply just trying to pay for your groceries. If you go through the self checkout and something goes wrong with the machine or you need them to approve the sale of alcohol they are nowhere to be found or they are three steps away ignoring you because they are talking to their little high-school buddies instead of working. They pay these kids to work but all they really do is complain or do nothing at all. I don't want to hear your complaints. Your at work and nobody likes to work for a living that's just part of life. Shut up, pay attention and bag the groceries like they pay you to.

This rating is for the baggers. They have stopped loading the carts and don't even offer to help out to the car. This leaves me to lift heavy items off of the counter and try to reach across the cart to load them into the cart myself. Several instances the bagger comes up, bags the groceries and leaves them on the counter and then chats with the cashier while I struggle to load groceries in my cart. Yes I have said something on more than one occasion. VERY disappointed in customer service!
