Very friendly, huge tomato slices, fries cooked perfectly and they got shakes and ice cream! Felt like walking back into the 1980s in a great way, diner life!! Loved it! 10/10

Hamburger was extra-thin, especially the bun, and light. And, the tator tots were overcooked. You'll want to think of the hamburger as an expensive slider and the "whopper" as an ordinary hamburger. Still, food was fresh and tasty and the service was good. Plus, I really feel comfortable eating here with a 100% sanitation grade; rare.

Restaurant- Hot dogs and other food are decent. Keeping in mind this is a small gas station diner, expectations are set accordingly. The service is fair as they seem to try hard. As a former cook, I can tell you the process in which they fix food is extremely time consuming. If you’ve been here before, plan on waiting a while for food. It’s a given.Gas station- Something that I cannot get over is almost every cashier has a bad attitude. Jerry Lee is the WORST! I get it, I wouldn’t be proud of myself if I was working as a gas station cashier at that age either but don’t be mad at me for your poor life choices.For me it’s close by so convenience is winning out right now.

Great food! Employees are awesome very nice! Love the cheeseburgers with side of curly fries and a delicious milkshake! 10/10Also homemade lemonade and homemade ranch is AMAZING!

Food is always good, but the service is always poor. Never had a good customer experience there. Regularly get ignored by the wait staff. They will walk right by you and ignore you. I work in the service industry myself, and I would be furious if my wait staff ignored customers the way they do here. Food is not worth it for the service experience.

Called in a take out order from the grill after placing my order I asked when it would be ready I was told 15 or 20 minute so I planned my arrival on the time I was told. 44 minutes later my order was ready. All i ask for is a honest ready time so I can arrive at that time and don't spend a extra 44 minutes standing by the produce waiting .The food is decent but no gas station hamburger is worth a extra 44 minutes wait time. I guess in the future ill buy gas at the gas station( convenience store) and buy my cheeseburgers from airport drive inn

Probably the absolute worst experience weve ever had with a so called "restaurant" ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich with an order of onion rings and a tee and it was $17+ for one meal. When asked why it was expensive the cashiers were vary rude and unprofessional with out actually ever answered said question. And since my wife misunderstood the total she had already payed. When asked for a refund for this overly priced prison food the manager was extremely rude while yelling NO REFUNDS! NO REFUNDS! NO REFUNDS! Sounds like they love cheating unsuspecting people out of money. And the food I wouldnt have fed that nasty burnt steak and cheese to my dog. Needless to say we will never go back to this scam of a store.

The service has dropped along with time of getting food ready. Called in for a salad and arrived about 15 min later took about 5min for someone to offer help and they wasn't even busy. Lady then says it will be about 20 mins for my salad to be ready. I just canceled that's ridiculous.

Went there and it took easily an hour to get food. Came home and my stomach was horribly upset. I may as well be anchored to my porcelain throne with how much I’ll be on it within the next few hours.

They have great food at the grill and an assortment of quick pick up items at the market. Tons of fresh fruit and vegetables also!

Always pleasant. Food from grill is excellent. Got my granddaughter her 1st banana split. It was so big , she couldn't finish it ! Another wonderful memory for us .

After a hour waiting on our hot dogs and frys. I was disappointed. Everybody always says there food was great. They might need another grill so customers don't wait so long on call ins.

This was always one of my favorite places to eat growing up. Family owned and ran establishment so the people actually care about you the customer! So go on down to Madison and get you a cheeseburger basket or a footlong hot dog. Before Checkers it was County line. They have been feeding and satisfying customers since the 80s

I was really craving a Checkers Banana Split tonight. Got there right at closing at and the owner Todd was there and made me one anyway! It was soooooo good, as all of their food always is and great service too from all of the staff!

Some of the most rude and hateful people in existence work at checkers.. the food is good but not enough to make up for the ridiculously unprofessional employees. We’ve been coming here for years but we will no longer. Renee needs to go ahead and retire because she obviously hates her job.

I took my sister there, she had never been. We went for the fresh vegetables, this place has everything going for it, we stayed for lunch, highly recommend tater tots and burgers, we are going back soon!

it's a shame their food is so good, but the service is so bad. I waited over an hour and 45 minutes for a cheeseburger and onion rings, unacceptable! the staff is completely terrible they're more preoccupied and what they're doing which is socializing then helping the customers I've been coming here for 10 plus years and today I am not coming back anymore. Amd they got out order wrong today.
