The veterinarians are very good at what they do. They listen to every problem you say about your pet and try to find a solution. The only thing I would do differently is buy the prescriptions online at another online retail store. That's my personal opinion, but for convenience, buy it there. The staff is very friendly and we can't clip our dogs nails, but they can with ease.

Our family and fur babies love the staff of the Animal Clinic of Madison/Mayodan. Unfortunately our last visit wasn't good, after four years and a few months our little miracle, Grey passed away unexpectedly from an aggressive parasitic infection that had a rapid onset. Their love and devotion to Grey over the years truly made a positive difference in her short life which was full of love, happiness and goofy moments. We are forever grateful and we will always continue to be customers of theirs. Because of Grey they all feel like our extended family.

Awesome folks!!! They care deeply about your pets wellness. If you have an emergency they will put every effort into saving your pet. Of course regular appointments may need to be rescheduled or a longer wait when an emergency happens but rest assured they are trying to save a life when that happens. And they listen to what your concerns are and answer all your questions.

Great place even in sad times. I think all Veterinarians care about all animals but both Dr. McKinley are so good with my animals and they explain things to me in a way that I understand what is going on with them.

Just let our little Ammo go to doggie heaven. He was 18 and his little body was suffering in many forms. The staff and doctors are caring and respectful as well as thoughtful. It was a hard time letting him go but their compassionate knowledge and truthfulness had made letting go easier.

I would recommend Animal Clinic of Madison to anyone (and do!) they’ve treated our boy Ajax since he first came home to us. And frankly.. I think given the opportunity, he would hang out non stop with these wonderful folks! They make every visit (good or bad) just plain fun.

We have taken our 2 Golden Retrievers to this Vet since we moved to Eden a year ago. Yesterday around 4 PM we called them. Willow, 6 was very quiet and lethargic. We knew something was very wrong. Explained everything to desk clerk. At least she asked the Vet if we could come in. Nope, no time for Willow. Tried a vet in Eden (where we live). Worst response. Ice cold heartless clerk. Need a deposit before even making an appt. WTHeck? We took her to Reidsville Emergency Vet. Yes, expensive. But great care. Quick testing. LYMPHOMA. They called already this morning to check on her. Devastating heartbreaking news. Madison Vet on Ayersville do not care.

The staff and Doctors are wonderful! Very empathetic, caring, and knowledgeable. We have been taking our dogs to them for years. When we lost our chihuahua recently, they showed so much concern and sympathy. It was heart felt. They are the real deal!

Don't ask for advice over the phone cause you will not. Get. It. Not allowed to give advice over the phone no. You want the money. It's not about care for an pet. It's about profit. Then they want your life history like your the one being seen. Instead of dancing. In circles with your customers. Up front. Just say. We can't give advice over the phone cause we ain't making no money. Point blank. Would be appreciated.

Nala Girl, a full blooded red-nosed pittie chose me and I willingly welcomed with pleasure her into My Life. We became inseparable - she taught me so much, kept me company, was so obedient and full of life, she just needed to run and be "Nala". In September of 2019, I was visiting my Mama in Madison, NC from Pamplin, VA with Nala and she was past due for a nail trim. I called Animal Clinic of Madison and they were able to get my Nala Girl in almost immediately after they received her records via fax from Veterinarian in Virginia. They did a great job, she loved it there and didn't even need to be muzzled!! Great staff, wonderful people to work with you and your animals - they have 💜🐸

These folks are top shelf in pet care. Our 11 yo Golden Retriever fell quick sick within a couple days he was immobile and suffering due to large tumor in his abdomen.I called from the first person talked to about needing our Bailey put down to the last person when we left making sure he wouldn’t be by himself as hes an attention lover.The vet & his assistants were very gentle, loving and compassionate to our boy. Comforting him as he we talked about his issues and condition assuring us we were doing the right thing as hard as it was. He gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes then came in explained what was gonna happen and how Bailey would react and he was spot on. He left very peaceful and went over the rainbow bridge to a life of no more suffering til we meet again ❤️Thank you to the whole staff working us in as he was in alot of pain and we nor did they want our sweet boy to have to suffer any longer than possible .

Since losing many vets I have to commend Dr. McKinley for still providing great care for my cats and dog. He and all the staff care very much for every animal. They also try to be very flexible when it comes to scheduling and getting my animals in earlier to be seen, for more pressing matters.

I waited a while to leave this review so I can give an honest review. We brought our dog in for a routine checkup and in return they killed her. They drew blood from her neck and hit an artery. At first they took full responsibility and then started giving excuses. They did several more test to prove they were right but not a single one checked out. They charged us for what they did and it cost us nearly $200 for their mistake. Our dog was healthy and happy when we took her in and retunedrd to us on deaths door step. We will never come here again. A. Thus was our vet for over 20 years.

Michelle was pleasant on the phone and answered my questions well. The office was open for new patients and was able to get me an appointment within 24 hours for my senior pup. He's so much better now and we were able to cancel the appointment.Great customer service, will visit in future if needed.

My dog was attacked by another dog on Thursday and I called 5 other vets including my dog's regular vet and no one could see her until I called the Animal Clinic of Madison. Dr McKinley and his techs were very good with her and us. They put me and my dog at ease and they took great care of her.

Still giving a 5 star. Been going to this group since the 80's and still top notch. My buddy was a bit rambunctious but all were very understanding and made sure everyone made it thru with no scratches or teeth marks.

Everyone here is very sweet and good with my cats. I've been coming here for a while. It's changed to a single vet office in that time but I feel like I'm still getting good care. Just saw Dr. McKinlay today and he impressed me with how much he's been working with diabetes in pets and seems to be really up on what new things are available. He is professional and friendly and he was affectionate to my cat while we talked, which seems important.

I can say I have been to many veterinarian’s in NC, and I have found that Dr. Fulton is the best cat veterinarian in NC. The staff and other doctors are phenomenal. The care, they are knowledgeable and don’t treat your precious babies like run of the mill. Very clean and they educate as well. Thank you allSo much.

Thank you. They fit my dog in on a couple days notice because of her ear problem. Everyone was amazing. The tech that came to the car was so kind and friendly. Plus she got Padmé’s Star Wars reference name. Our vet was awesome. She took the time to explain everything and answer all questions. I totally recommend this clinic. Our new go to vet!
