I love this shelter this is the most loving and caring people working here. Especially Kelly, and mikayla whom I was working with on getting my second pet. They do play dates and work with you to have your second pet for your first. I fostered an amazing puppy from here and they have many more lovable pets there. Please donate to have the shelter running longer And stronger.

My family and I went in to look at the kittens that were available… we arrived at 12:30 the establishment is supposed to be open from 12pm-4pm on Saturdays and as soon as we try to walk in the employee comes out rushing us saying that “our manager lets us leave early if we’re slow and do yall know which animal yall are looking for because we need to close and leave”. The astonishment that me and my wife felt was unreal. We were in the building about 15 minutes and about 5 more customers came in, but the employee said that they weren’t busy? While we were doing the application the employee tried to urge us to take it home and bring it back, it was really unprofessional and honestly a horrible experience for our first time visiting.

Thank you to the wonderful staff. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked through the door. We enjoyed our tour of all the aminals but fell in love with pumpkin 🎃 and her siblings. We are so grateful and we appreciate being able to give her a forever home.❤

Disregard all negative reviews!These people truly care about animals. We adopted our 1 year old shepherd mix and couldn’t be more happy with everything. They do a thorough application process which is lead by local volunteers. They verify all information to make sure the animals are going to good homes.If interested in adopting, fostering or volunteering please consider Robeson Human Society. These are good people doing good things.Consider donating as well, I know we will.

They are just the sweetest people. I sur rendered my puppy because he was too full of energy for me. They made a very hard decision on my part become more easy on me. And they shared his picture immediately and he was adopted the next day.

I called several times today to try to schedule the best time to visit. I live an hour away and I wanted to make sure I didn't make the drive at a bad time. Nobody answered the phone even though I called several times and throughout the late morning after they supposedly were open. I know these places can get super busy so I decided to drive out here and arrived an hour and a half before the stated closing time. No one was here, No one has returned any of my calls or messages, so I've now effectively wasted a lot of time on these folks and still have yet to see or hear the voice of any human. My impression is that the "Hours open to the public "are completely false. Definitely don't count on them

Hello, my name is jack, im from new jersey. A little over 10 years ago i came to this shelter to adopt MY ANGEL ON EARTH, CASSIE. i drove here through 2 snow storms and well over 500 each way to adopt her and let me tell you, im now 61 years old and ive done and achieved quite a bit in my life but NOTHING compares to the day we found each other. I remember it like it yezterday. A lady by the name of kelly ivory was who trained cassie and was the person who gave her to me. Cassie was so affraid of everything but yet the most well trained dog id ever been around thanks to kelly. Im witing today to thank you guys for my gift cassie. Yours truely, john okuniewicz

The employees are super nice and they keep the shelter very clean, they keep the animals clean also and they make sure every animal is taken care of to the fullest! I love this NO KILL SHELTER! The animals are amazing loving and very friendly! Go see for yourself and help out an animal in need!

We adopted little calico kitten Daisy who has won all of our hearts including our 3 boy cats. This shelter and Bill do a wonderful job with the animals. They get them "people-ized " so they fit right in. Thank you Bill and staff!

This place is a load of... I've never had to adopt a dog I've always just bought them I've raised hunting dogs and house dogs of all sizes and I've never had some desk jocky tell me whether I can or can't own a dog. I will never adopt a dog from a humane society these people are a joke!

They seemed more like "hoarders" than "rescuers". My girlfriend and I were rejected as bad adopters because we are away from home ~20 hours per week, even though we will have a dog walker. I'm planning to start a cruel puppy-mill since dog supply is so tight.
